Peggy Noonan clarifies her criticism of the Romney campaign.

Courtesy of the Wall Street Journal:

This week I called it incompetent, but only because I was being polite. I really meant "rolling calamity."

Noonan goes on to give Romney some advice as to how he can fix it, but don't worry he won't take it.

After all he's an arrogant over-privileged prick and she's JUST a woman who doesn't know her place.

P.S. Besides Mitt doesn't need her help, look how easily he solved his lack of support from the Hispanic community.

"What? You heard me on the tape saying that if I was Latino this campaign would be easier. So I made myself Latino. When you're rich you can do anything. You should try being rich too. It's great!"

There is something "prissy" about this man. I can's put my finger on it, but something about him just does not strike me as right.

Oh my. I can hardly wait for the debates when the entire country is tuned in and watches him make an ass of himself. Never in my wildest dreams did I think the GOP would Palinize itself again. These guys looked at 2010 and thought they could run anyone at all and say anything and AmeriKa would just fall in line and allow the Kochs and Adelson to declare war on Iran and give them even more million dollar refunds on their fortunes, and more subsidies for their oil companies and screw the midddle class through ending unions and jobs. Not so fast, GOP. Your lack of interest in anything but war and women's bodies has awakened the sleeping giant, and we vote.

He might do okay as at least for the first one, the candidates are getting the questions ahead of time. That means Willard might be sort of prepared, maybe.

Peggy Noonan has a spine, which means the GOP is in real trouble. She usually makes excuses for these clowns. Not any more.

Apparently Ms. Noonan doesn't realize that no matter how you package this particular product, the product remains the same.

Someone should do a graphic (and sorry I don't have the tech savvy chops, or the blog) that compares where Mittens started and where he ended up. Then, show some person, (yeah, yeah, ok ME) who started with two parents, neither of whom graduated high school , not through laziness or lack of smarts but quitting to work and help support family during the Depression, then, my father ending up disabled with no money to sue a doctor for malpractice, and my mother having to take up the slack with a low paying bank job.

I somehow managed a double major and grad degree, though it took me into my forties to get them. Now I teach at a regional campus, but because the PUBLIC UNIVERSITY pays poverty level wages, (husband is also a colleague) we are 47%'ers. It would take further degrees to get somewhat better paying jobs in but we know too many unemployed PhDs. And in some cases, we have untenured Phd's working for the same wages we do. We also tried the entrpreneurship thing Mitt touts - parents are dead, so can't ask them for a loan, took one out on the house - then the recession happened.

Guess what, we own a home (and that only because I had a $20K inheritance from two relatives years ago to use as a down payment), we keep our kids well fed and educated and live a somewhat normal lower middle class life because we're willing to work our asses off. we homeschooled our kids because we couldn't afford a private school to meet their GT academic needs and the public school in our state is abysmal fro above average kids and refused to accelerate them. We saved the state a bundle - like $50K. and we did it while working!

When our kids play a sport, spouse coaches because we get discounts. We take on paying projects when we can, grow a garden, cook at home and shop at Goodwill.

My guess is if you looked at overall who raised themselves up MORE by those boot straps, I have Mitt beat by a mile

Mitt and ArrogANNt - You fucking slackers, we have you beat by a mile.

Mitt Fit: Romney Threw ‘Temper Tantrum’ and Forced Univision to Re-tape Intro

Univision says that during his townhall with them, not only did the Romney campaign packed the hall with non-students because they couldn’t find enough supporters on campus, but when the anchor gave an introduction to Mitt that he didn’t like, he refused to go on until they re-taped it. A Republican present called it a “temper tantrum”.

The latest bad news for Romney trending on Twitter: He threw a tantrum

The article says that the Romney and Obama campaigns agreed to keep the audience comprised mainly of students, but that Romney was having trouble finding enough student supporters, so, at the last minute, they bused in supporters.

But after exhausting the few conservative groups on campus, the Romney camp realized there weren't enough sympathetic students to fill the stands on their night — so they told the network and university that if they weren't given an exemption to the students-only rule, they might have to "reschedule."
      ...
In any case, Romney's team was allowed to bus in rowdy activists from around southern Florida in order to fill the extra seats at their town hall.
The Obama campaign stuck to the previously agreed upon rules and distributed all of their tickets to students. There were some no-shows, so they then filled the empty seats with campaign staff and volunteers.

Salinas said both candidates ultimately had partisan crowds at their forums, but that Romney's non-student activists ignored instructions to hold their applause.

The drama did not stop there.

A Republican present called it a “temper tantrum”.

...Making last minute “demands” that would ensure his success, indeed threatening to “reschedule” if he wasn’t allowed an exemption to the student only rule and then packing the forum with rowdy, bused-in supporters who ignored the rules not to applaud, the Romney campaign later gloated that the Hispanic forum was more “excited” for Mitt than for Obama, whose also partisan crowd did not ignore the rules.

The image of “excitement” was apparently nothing but a carefully constructed mirage, propped up backstage manipulations and string pulling. The Univision host seemed put out by the disrespect shown by the bused-in Romney crowd, who booed questions while cheering the candidate as if the forum were a rally. All the worlds a stage.

I think it a disgrace that the 'hissy fit' wasn't covered by the national media. Can you imagine if President Obama had done something like that? God, we'd have never heard the end of it.

The Romneys are frauds!!! Yes, they are mega rich, but their values and truths are becoming more and more known. They do not deserve being in the White House. Sorry, Queen Ann, but you'd make a horrible first lady!

Peggy Noonan rarely goes against the Republican candidate, I think she did this clarification as a strong rebuke to Marie ANNtoillette's hissy "STOP IT" this is hard fit.

And Mitt didn't do himself any favors by filling seats with his props, it didn't work well after the NAACP speech, and it's not working with Univision either. Minorities, in general, don't like being played for fools. The cnn Soledad O Brian interview shows how desperate Romney has become.

President Obama played by the rules, admitted he regrets he couldn't tackle immigration reform because of the opposition of the GOP. Which candidate came across as having integrity and heart? Which took responsibility?

Mitt's only chance is to have a flawless first debate where he lays down a clear vision and a viable way to responsibly achieve his goals. You know, one that there isn't a you tube video where he holds the direct opposite view and vision. HA!
