The Boss stands up for marriage equality. Traditional marriage advocates too busy humming "Born to Run" to argue.

Yeah well you know that when Springsteen weighs in on an issue that it is about to receive a whole lot of support from people who had previously been on the other side of the issue.

Personally I think that Springsteen's endorsement might have an even BIGGER impact on this issue than the President did when HE gave his support.

I would write more but right now I am distracted by the sudden overpowering need to listen to "The River."

BROOOSSE!!!

By the way you can learn more about "The Four 2012" by clicking this link.

I'm a jersey girl, born and raised. I grew up down the block from Bruce's childhood home, so to say that I'm a Springsteen fan, is a vast understatement.

I made the trip to Philly to see him play in support of our now president Obama. And while I wasn't alive to see him play at The Stone Pony, my dad was at those early shows, and I was brought up knowing that Bruce is Boss (even if he hates being called that)

So knowing that he is a firm supporter of a cause that I hold near to my heart, it makes me love him even more.

Loved seeing Piper wearing her big sister's (willow) dress Monday night. Every little girl who attends a fancy event to watch her sister be awesome wants to dress the part.

...and nearly have a nipple slip because she's wearing a wildly inappropriate dress for her age.

I had the pleasure of seeing Bruce for about the fifth time a few weeks ago here in Chicago! He was joined on stage by Eddie Veder and Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine), what an amazing show! That being said, people do respect Bruce appreciating his work ethic among other things. His live shows last for 3 to 4 hours, he never disappoints.

I love the Boss! I was soooo hoping he'd close out the DNC convention this year. That would have been awesome.

They should play BORN IN THE USA every time Obama walks out on a stage.
those goofy teabaggers might not get the irony of it though!

Thanks for the link, it's nice to see celebrities fight for marriage equality, especially Bruce! Bruce is one of my all time faves. "The Rising" became an anthem of healing and hope at a time when I really needed it, but I like his classic stuff the best.
