Something to keep in mind as we help each other deal with the shock and the fear left over from yesterday's tragedy.

What a great parent to point that out. What a great blogger you are, Gryphen, to share this sentiment with us. Thank you.

Gentle words from a gentle teacher... Thank you for the reminder, Gryphen.

  4. Aww jeez, sobbing my eyes out. So wise. The compassion of our sister/fellow humans is limitless, and yet easily overlooked in our outrage at the deluded actions of a few.

  5. I have no words this morning, just like I didn't have any last night. Or rather, earlier this morning as I sat at my computer until 3 am, trying to get information. Luckily, in this case, I don't have television, just the internet. I don't think I could handle the media right now.

Thank you for reminding us there are truly people in the neighborhood who are good.

As I told my daughter while we watched Return of the Jedi on Sunday (the Emperor is a bit scary)...the good always wins.

The good will always triumph over the evil. It may take a while and it may hurt a lot to get there, but ultimately the good will win.

I wish I could watch Mr. Rogers right now.
