Morality is not determined by the church you attend nor the faith you embrace. It is determined by the quality of your character and the positive impact you have on those you meet along your journey

The position Jesus takes when it comes to gay sex. You know for those who were wondering.
To clarify Jesus's position when it comes to gay sex: Bottom.
There are many ancient writings, including the "lost" books that avered that Jesus had a beautiful young man that he shared the night with and was happy( not once either my friends) Some of these writings are said to be held in the vatican libraries(not the ones open to world scholars, but another collection that has extremely limited access even in the heirarchy of the RCC. I might know this, because I just might have a relative that worked in the secret library.
I think you're talking about "The Secret Gospel Of Mark." The passages can easily be found online, not in the basement of the Vatican. Most scholars consider it to be a modern hoax.
Mark does have a weird bit about that though.
Mark 14:51-53:
51 And there followed him a certain young man, having a linen cloth cast about his naked body; and the young men laid hold on him:
52 And he left the linen cloth, and fled from them naked.
53 And they led Jesus away to the high priest: and with him were assembled all the chief priests and the elders and the scribes.
"And they come into Bethany. And a certain woman whose brother had died was there. And, coming, she prostrated herself before Jesus and says to him, "son of David, have mercy on me". But the disciples rebuked her. And Jesus, being angered , went off with her into the garden where the tomb was, and straightway, going in where the youth was, he stretched forth his hand and raised him, seizing his hand. But the youth, looking upon him, loved him and began to beseech him that he might be with him. And going out of the tomb they came into the house of the youth, for he was rich. And after six days Jesus told him what to do and in the evening the youth comes to him, wearing a linen cloth over his naked body. And he remained with him that night, for Jesus thaught him the mystery of the Kingdom of God. And thence, arising, he returned to the other side of the Jordan."

You might also be writing that because you received an OK from your tinfoil hat connection.
DeleteIt is so full of "said to be" and "might" evasions that one can consider it only as musings or wishful thinking, not to be taken seriously.

I thought that John Prine was the reigning authority regarding Jesus's "missing years".

ReplyDeleteAll you'd see would be blank stares and glazed eyes. They won't get it.
