Bill Maher New Rules- Bullying isn't a Masculine Virtue

Courtesy of the YouTube page:

Maher was spurred on by conservatives piling on President Obama for saying he wouldn't let his hypothetical son play football because of how dangerous it is, because apparently "any critique of our holy religion football is blasphemy... and brain injuries are fun."

Maher trashed all the "non-serving chicken hawks [who] see themselves as the tough guys" when really, he said, they have all the bluster of a "blogger in his bathrobe." He said Republicans have gone from Teddy Roosevelt's "speak softly and carry a big stick" to Chris Christie's "speak loudly and be a big dick."

He said, "Bullying isn't a masculine virtue, standing up to bullies is," and mocked the idea that having second thoughts about sending troops into war is somehow a bad thing.

Here was one of my favorite parts which Maher said right after he mentioned how fun brain injuries are:

" That's what makes a Terry Bradshaw such a character. And a Sarah Palin interview so entertaining."

Btw Gryphen, I would like to point out that LL Cool J has another number #1 hit AND still has prime time TV show NCIS:LA. I can't be the only one that remembers Sarah Palin attacking him a couple of yrs ago.
    NCIS on CBS
or a cabel wasteland show on the sportsman channel, take your pick, who is top dog.

Remember their kiss-off to him when he exposed Sarah's Real American Stories as being cobbled together from other interviews, including an old one with him? Good luck with your so-so career and whatnot? These were Fox PR pros too, loads of bad, snarky, vindictive apples. But at least she got her dig in at Katie Couric, who'll still do fine at Yahoo! News

The pee puddle was furious at The Five (Faux) and firing off e-mails a couple days ago because they said Hillary would clean $arah's clock if they ran against each other. The truth hurts.

      Tonight's Grammy host:
LL Cool J (also the star of the network’s “NCIS: Los Angeles”) must be doing something right, as he hosts for the third year in a row.

Chris Christie is an ass, bully and liar. I think he is going to end up in big, big trouble. He will never be elected POTUS - who would ever trust him negotiating anything?

Could he be part of the Mafia being from New Jersey? That wouldn't surprise me either.

But but but...you mean to tell me that that manly mass of pulchritude who shook hands with our President is really a bully and a coward? Who'd have guessed? No one in the GOP, obviously. I mean, speaking down to teachers, women, and the poor are virtues to the right. And running a prostitution ring gets you on TV with other 'stars' like General whoever hosted that piece of garbage.
Interesting tidbit: Arizona has censured Senator McCain for being 'too liberal.' I think the whole party must have played football and hockey with no helmets. Is that what they do when they visit Mittens for his famous BBQs with games? We already know how he treated his pregnant DIL who dared try to beat him in a footrace. The entire gang is filled with bullies. How come it's taken the rest of humanity so long to call them out for it?

    Mafia??? What mafia?

    bwahahaha

Supervising Deputy Attorney General Mark Eliades says that while “old staple” rackets such as narcotic sales, loan-sharking and prostitution continue in New Jersey, illegal internet gambling now holds the biggest appeal.

Money laundering by U.S.-based crime syndicates has “become increasingly complex and difficult to detect” as they use the internet to funnel dirty money into legitimate global businesses via electronic transfers or investments.

Christie is the 'least' manly, man in the country! (Kind of like going to bed w/the idiot Sarah Palin!) Good god, I doubt you can even find his dick! Cannot imagine being sucked into his bed for sex! His poor wife even though she obviously went along with it!

The dig on Sarah was perfect. Then mimicking her obsession with men's plumbing during the Christie bullying piece was the cherry on the top of the cupcake. So glad he's back!

I'm sure Brancy will whip up another cavalcade of viscous word salad to get her mom's back again also too on this. Funny, they keep telling anyone who'll listen that Obama said leave his kids alone during the election, when he said all kids of candidates alone. Then Sarah keeps pushing them in front of her on all manner of business. There's also that age-old gripe that Sarah was grilled and picked at unmercillouslly

Bill hits the nail on the head once again. Rush Limbaugh's bedroom must have been based on LIberace's tastes. Come out of the closet now you hypocritical bag of foul methane gas. That picture of Bush Jr. speaks volumes too.

If someone dressed like one of us and he was not one of us, most likely he would be a target. Either he would have to join our gang or get himself hurt.True spirituality is a mental attitude you can practice at any time. Don't fear failure so much that you refuse to try new things. The sad summary of a life contains three descriptions: could have, might have, and should have.If you let a bully intimidate you, he’s going to do it again. You’ve got to stand up to these strong-arm tactics.Check your child's protection at http://safekidzone.com/#!/page_home.

I generally enjoy BIll's rules, but complaining about bullying after doing a joke at the expense of a former child stars weight ..seems to lose the point.
