Dick Cheney gives Congressional Republicans a "pep talk" about dealing with ISIS. Oh that can't be good.

Courtesy of the Guardian:

Former vice-president Dick Cheney met behind closed doors with Republican members of Congress on Tuesday to urge them to adopt a more muscular military posture in the Middle East.

The private meeting came as leading Republican hawks are clamouring for a ramped-up confrontation with the Islamic State (Isis) militant group, with some openly discussing the redeployment of ground troops in Iraq.

Cheney did not address the specifics of any military involvement in the Middle East, according to several people present at the meeting, which took place in the Capitol Hill Club and was open to all House Republicans.

But he decried what Republicans perceive to be president Barack Obama’s “weakness”, said legislators should boost military spending and provided a neo-conservative analysis of the conflict embroiling the Middle East.

Another source referred to Cheney's remarks as "tantamount to a pep talk."

Look I don't care if President Obama's plan for dealing with ISIS consists of dropping DVDs of past Sarah Palin speeches on their heads in an effort to confuse and demoralize them until they take their own lives.

ANYTHING would be better than whatever plan the Republicans come up with after being inspired by Darth Cheney.

Cheney is why we are in this predicament in the first place, and any advice he has to give should be treated as hazardous waste and disposed of immediately.

Actually if Cheney wants to help so much maybe he can talk George Bush into volunteering to join him in surrendering to ISIS so that they can have their heads chopped off on video, which might just prove satisfying enough for ISIS to stop their reign of terror.

Hmm, Cheney must need more monies he'll get from everything he owns in military oriented investments (especially Halliburton). What a war profiteer.

Cheney's constant hard on for war is sickening. Maybe doctors could just cut off his constant chubby for war already?

Cheney's also a draft dodger during Vietnam. So much for his actual military service. When he had the opportunity, he didn't go.

Cheney is still living in 1916, when Standard Oil sent secret agents to Arabia to acquire the rights to the oil they knew was under the sand. He is not to be trusted, and he is the reason why ISIS wants Western influence out of the region.

What is the matter Dick, the money from Haliburton running out?

Someone needs to remind this jerk, We know he lied to get us into the last two wars, which they conveniently left for Pres. Obama to clean up and pay for.

Keep on talking Dick. It just reminds people all over the world that you should be tried for war crimes.

Ohh My a top secret meeting with Republicans with Dick Cheyney with tips about how to get Isis. The female god of house, home, love and family. Hey Dick, forget your high school date and look at your own dysfunctional family. I can't imagine how Mary puts up with Liz's bullshit AND having a war hawk as a daddy.
Damn, the man looks absolutely heartless in every photo I see.
