Finally let's end our day with what I think was the biggest story of the day, Hillary Clinton and Elizabeth Warren giving the country its first look at our future President and Vice President.

Just listen to the melodious sounds of Elizabeth Warren ripping Donald Trump a new asshole.

It is literally like music to my ears.

And so is this:

This is what the guy challenging Bernie Sanders in the Vermont primary had to say.

He has a VERY valid point.

What a combo. How great it was seeing these two on fire this morning, and so soon after the Texas abortion ruling, which, almost 10 hours since, Trump's still said nothing about. Trump just can't compete. There's no competing with people who are so much smarter and so 21st-century while he's just a cliche-ridden 1980's dinosaur.

  2. I love them. I do. I'm 62, I'm not in bad health and while I hope there are many yet, tomorrow isn't promised to any of us. When I do go out though, I hope it's with people like Obama or Clinton/Warren at the helm. Trickle-down economics may be a disaster, but optimism and zest in leadership does trickle down to the betterment of every populace. Let's, please, have some more of that yet.

Anonymous 4:12 I am the one who posted that, about having heard Gryphen was making a big post today. Just to be totally clear, what I heard was, he has some stuff to show that makes Bristol look like exactly who she is, a lying, scheming, bitch who doesn't care about her son, as she's driving the knife to the hilt in her son's father and twisting it in his back for good measure. I then asked, oh wow when will it be posted. And she said well Jesse saves his biggest posts for Monday because that's when he gets the biggest number of readers.

So that's what was said. I guess she might have been assuming Gryphen would post it today OR she really had heard definitively that he would but then his plans changed.

Personally, I don't mind the idea of Sarah and Dakostol refreshing IM 5000 times today, waiting for THE BIG ONE!

But seriously Gryphen, make with the juicy details here. We wanna see Bristol finally get put in her place. All these years of lawyers mommy paid for and judges mommy appointed/influenced have left most valley rezzers really wanting that awful bitch to get her due. Knowing what I know about how she treated Levi these past couple years, I _so_ much want her "abstinence activist little merry Christian housefrau" cover to be blown.

    5. Surprisingly 6:42 you are pretty accurate in describing what I have and how usually I plan big posts.

Actually today WOULD have been the day that I posted my next Johnston story, however I had a couple of loose ends to tie up before I could type it out, and I also have some work commitments which require quite a lot of my time.

The post is coming, and it will definitely be this week.

      Delete
    8. Anonymous6:10 AM

Gryphen, thanks for validating what I heard, it makes me hopeful that the details of what I heard are on point as well. From what I have heard it sounds like Levi was put thru hell a thousand times over by this disgusting troop of layabout losers.
And if it is true what Bristol and Dakota TRIED to tell the court about big nasty Gryphen..well then they deserve EVERYTHING that's coming to them.

The person who told me all this also said Bristol was laughing hysterically when she told Dakota how her mom set up Levi with tank and rex. They fleeced him financially and trashed his rep on purpose. Sarah/Bristol manipulated things on Bristol's show to make him look bad. Bristol withheld rightful custody time from Levi during important events/parties (like Levi's bday dinner) and told Tripp "you can't go because daddy and sunny said they don't want you there"..god I could go on and on.
The point is gryphen, I am so truly grateful someone finally is demonstrating the testicular fortitude to put this child abusing bitch in her place.

Anonymous 3:03 Gryphen has already sunk untold amounts of personal time and finances into this endeavor. I really don't think you should be hassling him about needing to stay up later.

One thing that concerns me is I know some young people - early 20's who have decided not to vote because Bernie is not going to make it. Strategically, Bernie would be a good choice for VP - bit Elizabeth would actually be a better choice.

An updated Electoral College projection from Larry Sabato’s Crystal Ball predicts that Hillary Clinton will demolish Donald Trump in the general election this fall.

The website, which is run by University of Virginia’s Center for Politics, has the presumptive Democratic nominee beating Trump by a 347-191 electoral vote margin.

What’s more telling is that all of the normal toss-up states – Ohio, Florida, Virginia, North Carolina, Colorado, Nevada, etc. – have been moved into the “Lean Democratic” column, leaving Trump no mathematical way to make up the difference unless there is a sizable shift in public opinion.

Crystal Ball‘s prediction comes as Trump’s national poll numbers continue to collapse.

I think it's plausible that Trump names Mrs. Palin as his running mate. He is not running for president, never was and knows that he cannot possibly win in a general election. He's a son of a bitch and he's ignorant of government and economics but he, unlike Mrs. Palin is not stupid. He's simply in a long con, been thinking of this for some time and now that he's gotten farther with it than he'd planned or probably hoped, he needs an out. He can't just lose, which he of course will, and not have a patsy on which he can place the goat horns. Mrs Palin was born to play this role. She could lose an election for Jesus of Nazareth, she could keep Payton Manning out of the Hall Of Fame, the woman is herpes with headlights and her vile countenance could turn Mother Theresa into a pillar of salt. Sir Donald of Trump knows this all too well, and this scenario would delight me beyond measure. I know, I'm dreaming but what the hell, can't dance.

Republicans Rocked By Report Detailing GOP Lies And Abuses During Benghazi Investigation

House Republicans were dealt a severe blow by a 339-page report from the Democrats on the Benghazi Select Committee who not only provided the evidence that Republicans have hidden but also detailed the Republican abuses and lies throughout the investigation.

The Democratic report also documents the grave abuses Republicans engaged in during this investigation—from A to Z. Republicans excluded Democrats from interviews, concealed exculpatory evidence, withheld interview transcripts, leaked inaccurate information, issued unilateral subpoenas, sent armed Marshals to the home of a cooperative witness, and even conducted political fundraising by exploiting the deaths of four Americans.

“In our opinion,” the Members wrote, “Chairman Gowdy has been conducting this investigation like an overzealous prosecutor desperately trying to land a front-page conviction rather than a neutral judge of facts seeking to improve the security of our diplomatic corps.”

“We are issuing our own report today because, after spending more than two years and $7 million in taxpayer funds in one of the longest and most partisan congressional investigations in history, it is long past time for the Select Committee to conclude its work,” they wrote. “Despite our repeated requests over the last several months, Republicans have refused to provide us with a draft of their report—or even a basic outline—making it impossible for us to provide input and obvious that we are being shut out of the process until the last possible moment.”

At that point, Kasich would be very easy to beat. He isn't that great of a candidate.

    2. Anonymous7:38 PM

Well, Kasich barely registered in the polls, don't you think it more likely that Cruz would jump back in? Rubio would give his delegates to Cruz in a heartbeat. But then I've also heard noises about that son of bitch Walker from Wisconsin lurking in the background. I wouldn't put anything past them. I have thought from the beginning that Trump wouldn't make it to the nomination, because he can't bear to lose, his ego is too fragile. So he'll come up with some reason, maybe that his businesses are all crashing and he is the only one who can attend to them. Or some family emergency. Or some other nefarious tale that his campaign would spin. I'm happy that his poll numbers are going down, but I take NOTHING for granted. I just read today that they've found a new way to disenfrachise voters secretly, without them knowing until it's too late. In the millions. In swing states. So we must be super diligent and aware of the shenanigans they WILL pull to steal the White House.

Here's the part of the article I read that spells it out, though the entire article is most interesting.

...Today, I've uncovered a brand new gimmick called "cross-check." Another million people are literally being removed from the voter rolls. The Electoral College system makes vote theft fairly easy, and makes it profitable, because if you win a single state, you get all of its electoral votes. When they remove 1 million voters from such states as Ohio and North Carolina and Florida, these are the states that determine who becomes president. They have a new gimmick to remove people from the voter rolls secretly, quietly, people don't even know they've been removed.

About one-third of Americans mail in their ballots, and if their vote isn't counted, they don't know it. We know officially that about 6 million votes never get counted. Almost all the votes removed are votes of poor people, African Americans, Latino Americans and Asian Americans. These are all basically Democratic voters. And it is not only the presidency, but the Senate which is up for grabs. Even though the Republican Party does not like Donald Trump, the problem is that they still have to control the election and steal votes, because they need to control the Senate.

Trump Could Trigger The Longest Recession Since The Great Depression

Donald Trump’s economic policies are so bad that they would produce the longest U.S. recession since the Great Depression, a report from economists at Moody’s Analytics found last week.

Assume, as the economists did, that Trump could implement his key economic policies — tax cuts skewed heavily to the one percent, mass deportation of illegal immigrants, and huge tariffs on imports from China and Mexico — during his first two years as president.

The result: the U.S. will go into recession at the start of 2018 and not emerge until 2020. Instead of 6 million new jobs being created, 3.4 million Americans would lose their jobs. Gross domestic product will fall by 2.4 percent. That’s a longer, though less severe, downturn than the Great Recession (which officially began in December 2007 and ended in June 2009).

The Moody’s economists summed up their warning:

Make no mistake about it- TRUMP is the enemy within but the problem it’s not just Trump himself the real treat are his followers, believe it or not there is such a thing as Trump Zombies, these creatures are impervious to reality fact checks somehow they forgot that the economical despair occurred due to the housing crisis during the Bush-era was created by the speculation of Subprime Mortgages in which Trump was a HUGE participant of that con but these zombies are acting as they haven’t heard about Trump Mortgage LLC. Hardly anybody wants to speak at Trump's convention

POLITICO reached out to more than 50 prominent Republicans. Few said they plan to attend the convention in Cleveland, let alone speak.

A slot at the Republican National Convention used to be a career-maker — a chance to make your name on the big stage and to catch the eye of the Republican donors and activists who make or break campaigns.

In the year of Trump: Not so much.

With the convention less than a month away, POLITICO contacted more than 50 prominent governors, senators and House members to gauge their interest in speaking. Only a few said they were open to it, and everyone else said they weren’t planning on it, didn’t want to, or weren’t going to Cleveland at all — or simply didn’t respond.

Dump Trumpers Starting To Make Trump Camp Nervous

Instead of focusing on Hillary Clinton, the Trump campaign is spending time and energy countering anti-Trumpers in the GOP.

Republicans working to deny Donald Trump their party’s nomination at next month’s convention may not have the votes lined up to pull that off, but they’ve certainly gotten Trump’s attention.

On an anti-Trump conference call Sunday evening, Georgia delegate Bobby Booth said the No. 2 person in the Trump campaign had called him, asking whether he’d been contacted by anti-Trump organizers. “I told him I was seeking them out,” Booth said.

The conference call comes as the anti-Trump “Free the Delegates” movement gets more media attention, along with radio ads from a friendly super PAC, cable TV ads from a secret donor political group and more establishment Republican support.

Joining the call Sunday was former New Hampshire Sen. Gordon Humphrey (R), who supported Ohio Gov. John Kasich in the GOP primaries. “Donald Trump is just about the worst candidate you can think of,” he said.
