It is almost like the people who are showing up feel obligated to be there, but once inside can barely bring themselves to clap or cheer for the majority of the folks up on stage.
But if Trump inspires so little enthusiasm among the Republicans then who is it that helped him to win the nomination?
If you have about 30 minutes the BBC might provide that answer in a rather terrifying documentary called "Trump's Angry America."
I suspect it's just your opinion. I've been surprised by the high enthusiasm - not that I share in it.

Plus, let's not forget the Evangelicals, who want Armageddon so they can get taken to heaven soon. It's a quandary. But Micheal Moore said it's becoming reality. Trump may be President if we become too lax in thinking he won't.

The booing of Cruz was orchestrated by the Trump campaign. It was all planned since they knew Cruz wasn't going to endorse. That is why Trump made his entrance to the family seating area during Cruz's speech and campaign members were strategically placed in the audience to start the booing.

What was the point since he wasn't going to endorse Trump? Did he think this was mending bridges in the party and he could just say "told you so" and be the nominee in 2020? I remember the only time I ever voted for a Republican was to send Pete Wilson to D.C. just to get him out of California. Once done, I voted against him because I knew once he lost, he'd never be in politics again. And I was right. He had the worst attendance/voting record ever. So he didn't do much damage while he was there either.
One thing that should be said, is that monica ledwinski was not a victim of assault or rape. She was a unvetted young intern with hots for aging old confined horney bill. Nothing new with that deal. Women and their scent take down bozo-pres everyday. It was bad judgement for a intern. Bill got a black eye and many were hurt in the entire process. Now rudy had his own women thingy. Trump has his own women thingy. But attacking Hillary, her credentials, her lifelong work and law career is wrong. And emails,text and that?
