One thing you can say about the Clinton they do not allow a political opportunity to go to waste. We don't know why Trump and Putin praise each other so much and share many foreign policies.— Hillary Clinton (@HillaryClinton) August 5, 2016
We'll let you guess.https://t.co/N6ySNJ3zE5
That is a pretty damning advertisement.
And one that I would think speaks to a lot of the conservatives who fins Donald Trump completely unpalatable.
I would not be at all surprised to find that a substantial portion of disenfranchised Republicans vote for Hillary in November.
I love it. She should add "there's something going on folks, somethings going on".
ReplyDelete"Is Donald Trump a Putin stooge? I don't know. You tell me."
Delete"I hear things. People say things. Believe me. The things I hear, you wouldn't believe. But people are talking. People are saying, you know the things I am hearing, there's something going on, believe me."
Delete(He always repeats his simple statements three times. He never progressed beyond "See Spot run. Spot runs and runs. Bill sees Spot run." in his mastery of the English language.)
Another excellent ad. Use his own words against him, and let the voters decide. The Clinton campaign is right on the mark.
ReplyDeleteMy dad, who worked on SDI during the Cold War, has often criticized Obama for being too soft on Russia. He was also planning, as of June, to vote for Trump. I am VERY curious to know whether all these revelations have changed his mind, but I don't dare ask. He hates Hillary so much that he might knowingly vote for someone who would betray the U.S. just to keep her out of the Presidency.
ReplyDeleteSo would a lot of white angry men.
DeleteI have a brother like that and you cannot not even broach your opinion w/him. He's right and no one else is. He talks the FOX stuff - rolls off his tongue like no other.
DeleteTruly makes me wonder how we can be brother and sister. Absolutely amazing!
It might actually help us win down ballot races if people are so turned off but Trump but won't vote for Hillary and just stay home, many Republicans are turning themselves in knots over the dilemma. Just don't vote!
DeleteDemocrats, in their respective communities, need to get out and work for Hillary Clinton to become our next POTUS!
DeleteI am and boy, does it feel good! There are more folks supporting Hillary Clinton than I originally anticipated and I'm in a Republican majority state!
Many Republicans have no desire to cast their votes for Donald Trump!
Do promote the voter turnout for Hillary Clinton. You'll find she is not as 'hated' as the media has been making her out to be for the past year!
Remember, FOX, CNN and some on MSNBC have been tearing her down for months and promoting Donald Trump! I'd say she's been slightly outnumbered, but we can kick their butts for her!
Mrs. Clinton has a calming demeanor, is thoughtful in analyzing difficult situations, is very experienced in the workings of our government, knowledgeable and is eager to continue working for Americans and our country.
Trump, on the other hand, is off his rocker (!), horribly ego driven, hateful, non experienced in government, a racist, liar and fraud, reactive to the slightest rebuke and not at all qualified to be POTUS!
10:32, I have a sibling like this. You have my sympathy, it really is a trying situation dealing with someone who is unable to grasp any thought even slightly complex.
DeleteI agree with poster 9:10. Challenge your dad; it is time for him to reconsider his allegiances. And, person I know who works on missile defense projects in Alaska is extremely conservative. I’ve yet to meet a progressive in the bunch.
DeleteHillary has my vote! Trump is a lunatic!
ReplyDeleteBecause he hates America and wants to hand it over to Putin?
ReplyDeleteWith every slight and mock from American comedians I wouldn't be surprised for him to get his revenge on all of America. Petty.
DeleteTime to challenge your dad on his patriotism.
ReplyDeleteGee Sarah I don't hear you yapping about Russia? Isn't that golden child from there? How's that working for ya since they are exhuming graves now?
ReplyDeleteUh oh! Better try and kill em all one more time!
Just remember they are watching and waiting for ya!
What's the trajectory of the Republican party that has sadddled us with a titanically sociopathic ignorant, racist, and highly dangerous idiot as the Repub nominee?
ReplyDeleteKathleen Parker has a great article this week
Quote:
"The party of angry men and patient women tried to add a little sugar and spice, plunging itself ever-lower on the curve when it embraced a cute little winkin’, blinkin’ and noddin’ gal-gov from Alaska as vice presidential running mate to John McCain — and a heartbeat away from the presidency.
Next came the tea party movement to which Sarah Palin briefly attached her Winnebago, followed by the government shutdown, and culminating with the glittering, twittering Tower of Trump"
Kathleen may be a Republican at heart, but she's almost on the verge of changing parties apparently!

Hillary's team is on the mark with this and other ads. Trump is enough of a narcissist that he will glorify anyone (Putin) who praises him. Why would anyone even consider voting for Trump?
ReplyDelete@ 10:03
DeleteA quarter are rabid Trumpzies and have found their spokesman.
A quarter of them hate government of any kind and like that T is an outsider.
A quarter of them voting for him as a vote against Hillary.
A quarter of them are just sheep and their tribe members would shun them if they didn't vote for Trump. But many may switch their vote inside the booth. That's a percentage Hillary needs to beat him. Trump is already gaining on her, mere days out from the Convention.
But it's the state wins that really count.
Electoral votes will do him in.
DeleteI think we are watching a man (Trump) that will eventually be assassinated. He is everything America is NOT and has raised hatred and fear of many throughout our country.
ReplyDeleteI don't see him ever being elected POTUS!
Vote for Hillary Clinton - I know I am!
No. I don't think he will be assassinated. Because the crazies that follow through on that sort of thing are the ones supporting him. If anything, they'll try to assassinate Hillary. I didn't think it possible but they hate her more than Obama.
DeleteI guess that is a sad commentary on misogyny in this country. That the racists would tolerate a black MAN over a white WOMAN.
Hey there’s blood in the water…go for it. I hope you’re right about disenfranchised Republicans finding their way over to the the Dem side. I’m not going to bet too many of the Texas Republicans wander over that way—at least not overtly. The current sentiment is “Better a commie than Hillary”. Just saying her name is like waving a red flag in front of a crazed bull. People totally lose their collective shit and start foaming at the mouth. Any wonder why I don’t have a Clinton sticker on my car or a sign in my front yard?
ReplyDelete--twisted tink
In my Alaska neighborhood, my house would be torched if I advertised I was voting for Clinton. It is a nut job world up here and more arrive daily as they see Alaska as rabidly right wing. Oil patch southern rednecks have ruined my state.
DeleteI'm in red Wisconsin, I don't dare put a Hillary sign in my yard. It would get ripped out that night and the destruction in my yard would be horrific. In my town they wouldn't torch my house, they would spray paint the house, damage my car (cut tires, put something in the gas, scratch crap on the paint etc)😒
DeleteO/T or not? What about Ivana Trump and her immigrant status - Wikipedia has kind of "shaky" info with her eventually arriving in US via circuitous route to Canada then NY. Citizen of US? Supposedly Czech originally but her claim to fame there denied by one Czech organization she cited - never heard of her.
ReplyDeleteHope Politico gets on that one as well if there is anything shady about her stay here in the US. Go after it all, like what kind of status did she have to enter business with Drumpf? Unclear.
From Wikipedia:
Delete" She has claimed that she was selected as an alternate on the 1972 Czechoslovak Olympic Ski Team. However, in 1989, Petr Pomezny, Secretary General of the Czechoslovak Olympic Committee, stated, "Who is this Ivana woman, and why do people keep calling us about her? We have searched so many times and have consulted many, many people, and there is no such girl in our records."[2]"
They're going to shit kittens in confusion.
ReplyDeleteDo I love America? Then I have to vote for Hillary, because a vote for Trump is a vote for Putin.
Yeah. Splody heads.
This is the difference between a seasoned political veteran with a fully functioning campaign machine and a petulant spoiled brat who has always had everything handed to him that suddenly wants to be president.
ReplyDeleteLabeling and bloviating won't get you the White House.
Hillary has another ad out called "Unfit". It's also a doozy.
http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/290501-new-clinton-ad-uses-republicans-to-call-trump-unfit-for
It uses Republicans to attack Trump.
When the sitting president of the United States says that the GOP presidential candidate is "unfit for the office" that is some serious stuff. Never said before in my memory and Obama does not speak off-handedly about something so vital.
ReplyDeleteYet Trump goes on. He has stated that he "could shoot someone on Fifthe Avenue and still get votes" and it may have been true just a couple of weeks ago. I believe his attack on the Gold Star Kahn Family shocked a lot of people out of their fantasy. I certainly hope they stay awake and aware through November.
BTW, watched Joy Reid on MSNBC this AM and she shredded the Trump surrogates -any of them; all of them. Wish other members of the MSM did so as well.
The woman has brass tits. (I mean that in a good way.) Hope she doesn't get fired or silenced by her overlords.
Not one of our former presidents endorse him. They should know best!
DeleteI've been away and haven't been paying very close attention but it doesn't seem as though President Obama has received much blowback from the GOP after calling Drumpf "unfit" either. But maybe I'm just not hitting the right sites.
DeleteThat video is about as scary as it gets.
ReplyDeleteWhoever does her ads are doing a fantastic job. Politically speaking, Trump is clearly out of his element, everything's about other people's perceptions of him and how he lies to boost his ego. Wouldn't surprise me in the least if there's serious ties, Putin and Trump are cut from the same cloth, but Putin has more brains in how to manipulate Trump.
