After 9 months on the market, the Palin family is about to say goodbye to their sunny getaway in Scottsdale, Arizona. The six-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom home is now pending, meaning someone submitted an offer. Palin originally listed the estate on December 21, 2015, for $2.499 million, but dropped the price a few months later to $2.375 million.
The gated estate sits on more than four acres of land and includes equestrian facilities, a basketball court, putting green, pool and an outdoor entertaining area with a built-in grill. Inside, there are Jacuzzi bathtubs, chef’s appliances in the kitchen, gorgeous fireplaces, a wine cellar, media room and rooftop deck complete with stunning mountain views. Palin purchased the home back in 2011 for $1.7 million, so she stands to make some money from the deal if it sells for anything near the current listing price of $2.375 million.
Okay I'm going to suggest that if somebody is actually making an offer that it is certainly not for any $2.375 million. Not for a house that has sat on the market collecting dust for nine months.
Actually after paying off the rest of what she owes I would be surprised if Palin walked away with even a million bucks when all is said and done.
In Alaska that would easily allow most people in their fifties to live out the remainder of their days in comfort.
However this is Sarah Palin we are talking about so what do we think, two years?
They bought it for $1.7 Mill, and tried to sell it for $2.3 Mill, so their profit would be around $600K. But take away from that $600K the cost of the basketball court, which they added (yeah - that is exactly what the doctor ordered - playing basketball in the searing sun...), and take away the cost for nine months of insurance, utilities, security, pool maintenance, not to talk about mortgage payments (if they had a mortgage on it and did not pay cash for the monstrocity with their $arahPAC), also cleaning costs after they left each time (last time last week, I guess), you come out pretty much even - if not at a loss actually!
ReplyDeleteInsurance, utilties, etc is basically the "rent" they pay for just living in their own home.
DeleteI think the seller pays the broker too. She might end up paying for title and inspection also.
Any way you look at it, she's going to lose money on this white elephant. She must really be hurting for cash.
Now I can't wait until she puts the house on the dead lake up for sale.
I'm sure first they'll be selling the plane, snow mobiles, any other properties and even some vehicles. Yep, tracking the Palin garage sales will indicate exactly how hurting they are for money.
If she had invested the money she earned from the books and her TV crap wisely and lived modestly, she would have been set for life. Instead she squandered it like there was no tomorrow. Basic white trash mistake of the suddenly rich flash in the pan.
I personally think she bought the house thinking that one or more Palins would have careers in LA in entertainment and wanted a home base close to LA but far enough away to still feel uncrowded.
DeleteNo one ended up with a Hollywood career and the house often sat empty. She had the B-ball court built to try to entice the kids to spend more vacation time there but Hawaii is both closer and has a better climate and it seems like they spend more time there than AZ. Kind of surprised she held on to it for this long.
12:17 The basketball court was added when Bristol was hanging out with AK AftaDark crew. Is that still going on? hehe
DeleteYou forgot another biggie, property taxes, of course knowing the Palins they didn’t pay those so the buyer better check before signing anything.
DeleteThen the water bill for filling a pool, in a drought, for a couple of days of vacation.
>>>12:17 The basketball court was added when Bristol was hanging out with AK AftaDark crew. Is that still going on? <<<
DeleteI bet Bristl still be ballin' fo sho!
hehehehehehehehe
Sadly all of her family members appears to qualify for financial help from her for the rest of her natural lives.
DeleteIt's not a white elephant. It's a beige on beige on beige elephant.
DeleteThat must have been the time Bristles had Tripp flashng gang signs on every photo.
Delete2:09 Oh ya! Bet there are some pics out there too. Bristol and Marina double teamin!
DeleteI always thought Sarah wanted John McCain's AZ senate seat, except she is too lazy to run for office and too lazy to actually do the work of Senator (should the voters be foolish enough to elect her).
DeleteSpeaking of whom, what has happened to Marina?
DeleteWhy isn't $pew stumping for her 'dear friend' John McCain who is in the Senate race of his life in AZ. Kiss of death x 2.
DeleteI'm no expert, but since this isn't her primary residence and given her tax bracket she might wind up having to pay a hefty capital gains tax on any profits on the sale.
ReplyDeleteSince she purchased it through an LLC she might be able to escape capital gains since technically the funds from the sale do not go to her but to the LLC.
DeleteThe LLC would still need to use the proceeds to reinvest in property within a certain amount of time to avoid the tax hit..
There will be no profits from this sale.
DeleteIf anything, she'll get a tax break for losing money.
11:44am
DeleteThe IRS does not allow an individual to deduct money lost on the sale of a second/vacation residence.
They bought it using their bogus LLC (when is the IRS going to crack down on this?)
Delete“While the owners of LLCs still have to pay capital gains taxes, they do not have to pay as much as they otherwise would.”
Read more: http://www.finweb.com/taxes/llc-tax-law-capital-gains-and-losses.html#ixzz4GUl0QAHw
The amount of capital gains they have to pay also depends on how long they owned the property.
Well you only have to pay capital gains on a house if you made more than $250,000 in that year…soooo….
DeleteRealtor must not be confident with offer because there is a specialty clause since July 27th
ReplyDeleteContingent (Under Contract Accepting Backups)
Backup Offers
One potential tactic that is becoming more popular is submitting a backup offer. The home is already under contract with Buyer 1, but Buyer 2 submits a contract to the seller, and the seller can add a backup addendum. When the seller signs the backup contract, it means that if Buyer 1 should cancel their contract for any reason, Buyer 2 is automatically under contract to buy the home.
Multiple backup offers are rare, but are possible as well. The order that the seller signs these contracts would be the order in which they are entitled to buy the home. Later offers would, of course, most often be at higher prices. This would to entice the seller to sign a backup offer instead of putting the home back on the market if the first sale failed.
I highly doubt any home that has been on the market for well over 200 days would have any backup offers. Those usually happen on hot properties where there are multiple offers immediately when it hits the market.
DeleteMy guess is that there is an extremely lowball offer on the table. No one with even half a brain would buy a home for that price in a neighborhood where the average home cost is about 1/3 of the cost of the home they are buying.
$arah "Do You Know Who I Am" PayMe believes her "name" will be enough to sell the ugliest house in AZ. Sorry, loser - those days are LONG gone when your name held any appeal, even on ebay.
DeleteWithout SarahPac funds, 6 months and they will all be pushing grifting products.
ReplyDeleteUnless she wisely invested some of the personal wealth that she accumulated from book sales and speaking engagements, at one point estimated at 12 million dollars, then yes, some of the Klan will need to find gainful employment.
Delete"Wise investments"? Like a home in AZ and pontoon boats? LMAO!
Deletewhat ever happened to Richter Investments?
DeleteI know the same CEO of some insurance company in WA was the same for ol Sarah!
Was that BEFORE or AFTER 1989? hmmmm
Google Dain Bosworth
DeleteI did 239 and it's a century old investment company! So whomever is still alive is the sole owner of that company? Interesting! I wonder how long Chuck knew?
DeleteSarah must have found that out = extort!
What are you referring to.
DeleteOh probably one of many accounts Sarah skimmed since she is good at grifting!
DeleteNo surprise there!
The overpricing and obvious refusal of an agent's advice to lower the price sooner, and by more so as to sell, is so typical of all those stories on HGTV about owners who think that their house is so special and they know it all.
ReplyDeleteThis is a lie! Our Baldy is so fucking predictable! She follows this blog religiously and it bothers the fuck out of her that Old Redneck post how long her shit stain of a house has been on the market....so in her Baldy style (insanity) she did what she did when she claim to have sold the State jet.
ReplyDeleteStupid bitch found one of her cronies to put in a bid for her nasty ass house! Knowing how empty Baldy's pockets are I wouldn't be surprised to find out that the house was sold for a $1! Baldy has to save face...no matter the cost!
Amirite Penguin or Amirite?
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
If she did that the listing agent will be so pissued.
DeleteAnd, with the clause Backup Offers you are probably right on this pending sale is a ruse.
How come her BFF Wasilla real estate agent is not in on the sale?

6-700k profit. That is a pretty good investment by most standards.
DeleteSo, this week, Gryph recants half the old Palin stories that were never true, and they make good profit on a real estate investment.
Looks like another Palin win lol.
@anon 12:53pm
DeleteExcept it won't be that kind of profit. Apparently you have either never owned a home or just don't understand about the costs of maintaining a larger property and the property gain taxes, the realtors 6 percent....not much of a profit in the end IF the offer is even close to the asking price.
Gee sorry 1:47... how about- before costs and taxes profit? Is that better needle nose? Either way if they sold for anywhere from 5-700k over their purchase price... They will still likely make 3-400k true profit.
DeleteApparently I do maintain a home and understand costs, but apparently you are a fucking dumbshit moron, like most the IMers.
Ya know, 2:04, you may have some valid points, but when you come here and insult all of us IMers with a broad brush, you're just a troll to me.
DeleteAnon 12:53 PM: The net profit will not be anywhere neat $700K.
DeleteThey purchased the house for $1.6 million. IF they sell it for $2.3 million, the gross profit will be $600K. HOWEVER, from that $600K, we must deduct:
-- Realtor's commission, which is paid by the seller and usually is 6%: Deduct $142,500 commission
-- Closing costs: Taxes up to the settlement date: $8763 taxes, settle in August, she owes $5800 in taxes.
-- God-only-knows how much they spent on the basketball court.
-- Utilities; security; homeowner's association fees; maintenance; pool service.
And there's no guarantee they got the asking price of $2,375,000. More than likely, they got under $2 million. I'm betting their profit is around $200 - 300K at best.
Thanks to Zillow and public r.e. records. At the county auditor, we get to see how much it sold for within a year.
Delete@2:04 PM Bitches like you talk loud but say nothing.
DeleteThey paid cash for it so whatever proceeds come from the sale they will pocket. There is no mortgage on that property.
ReplyDeleteThey were part of an investment group. The group bought it.
Deleteyeah but they used funds in a SOA account that were not theirs to use! forging a signature on a constant basis! that is the only reason she bragged about being a criminal! alaska harbors criminals!
Deletethat whole racket continued to WA state as someone moved money down there around 89'
Deleteand that the CEO is the same of her investment company! sarah is a scammer!
Dain Bosworth has been investing for over a century now and getting an audit to track funds since 1914 I think? Whomever was linked to this account and monies will not be happy to be getting penalized! :-O
Delete1:35pm
DeleteIf that's true then you need to point it out to the proper authorities and have them investigate. You do speak frequently here of such things, and if true there would be penalties for those who perpetrated the crime, but Sarah still walks free.
Instead of just alluding to it and complaining about it, if indeed its true then do something about it!
If you don't and it is true then it looks like Sarah got a whopper over on someone and the State of Alaska and will never suffer the consequences. It's par for the course for that family though, so not surprised.
When your worth alot of money Palin I mean people will say and do ANYTHING to keep it!
DeleteWhat is an 'equestrian facility?' A barn? I can just see Palin and her kids mucking stalls, can't you?
ReplyDeletePeople that can afford an "equestrian facility" certainly do not muck out their own stalls.
DeleteHas she suddenly developed an interest in riding? I've not seen many pictures of her at all on horseback - and the ones I have seen are guided rides, all at a walk, never a trot or canter. Is she secretly training for a dressage event?
DeletePeople who have equestrian facilities certainly do much out their own stalls.
Deletecccooooppppyyyy ccccaaatttt is Sarah! lol
Deletemay be EEECCCHHHOOO is a better assessment!
Delete"equestrian facility" -- not certain what that means in terms of this house, but . . . using Google Earth, search for the address: 29005 N 82d St, Scottsdale. Look around the neighborhood and you'll find several equestrian installations: barns; horse trailers parked here and there; walking/exercise rings; jumping courses . . . looks like the horsey set owns most of these houses.
DeleteMaybe when the realtor told Sarah the neighborhood welcomed horses, she thought they welcomed horse's asses and bought the place.
They likely put their four wheelers n the stalls.
Deleteequestrian facility
Delete----------
That is real estate talk for a barn !! After all they needed a room for Track.
Say, why isn't John McShame asking $arah to campaign for him in AZ? LOL LOL
DeleteI have to confess something. Not counting the basketball court (not a basketball fan), I don't love the house, but I don't hate it either.
ReplyDeletethey're still accepting offers
DeleteYeah? how about that lush astro-turf landscaping? That's class right there. LOL
DeleteVery cold and ugly inside. Sterile looking.
DeleteI think I remember reading something at the time it was a cash sale. They have people who are smart enough to avoid tax consequences. The 1% always do. Their finances have always been a bit of a mystery. It's more than just Sarahpac. Although we want to think they are broke it doesn't appear to be the case. Somewhere that we can't account for there is money. Nice commission for the real estate agent either way.
ReplyDelete100% agree. She is too cheap to have gone through her grifter money. Think offshore.
Deletethink Panama Papers and how we can find out what was done with those funds! hu Sarah? Sarah?
DeleteInfact, ol Edward Snowden said 'it's time' cough hey Sarah how's that going to work out for you and your criminal associates?
DeleteThe Palins are NOT part of the 1% by any stretch of the imagination.
DeleteNo but when they can 'blackmail' to access an account of the 1% then that's a game changer! Then ending won't be good!
DeleteSadly 1% is not that much. Income of 369k a year in Alaska. I think they are well above that line.
DeleteSorry to burst your bubble but the 1% is not the 1% of Alaska. And income is not the same as net worth. Sadly.
DeleteShe won't make any money if she spent that much to add the basketball court.
ReplyDeleteI'll bet the offer was way under asking. Plus she'll have to pay the broker.
Nope. She lost money on this.
If she paid cash for it then at least she'll have some of the cash back. I'll bet she's hurting and would take any offer close to the $2 million mark.
This house is SO ugly and void of any character - just like its owner!
ReplyDeleteI can't even stand that I have to breathe the same air as the bitch and I sure can't imagine living in the same house where that filthy ( fill in the blanks) once resided.
ReplyDeleteThat pile is tacky, vulgar and sad, just like its trailer park provenance.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't expect her to have any style other than trashy. Like mother, like Barstool.
DeleteI like the house.. not the basketball court though...the price is wrong if it is not selling...
DeleteRemember when we first saw this house ... Sarah and Todd were trying to hide from the news helicopter under a porch ... like a couple of cockroaches.
ReplyDeleteHa! Cockroaches. You made me laugh out loud. The Klondike Cockroaches. Love it!
DeleteMcCain is buying it just to get Sarah out of Arizona.
ReplyDeleteHer stench has been killing his petunias.
Don't u mean asparagus ?

It's a false sale to drum up interest and save face. Look at the special consideration of back up offers added.
Someone elsewhere posted, which is Palin style, to sell a property to her kid or relative for a buck to cheat a system. Just another day, another scam from a Palin.
Nothing new until she gets caught and jailed.
Every single listing with an offer says bavk up offeres welcome. This is standard, not something special. I am looking for a house in Scottsdale and I see it all the time.
DeleteAlso this is a great real estate market except for one million dollar plus homes. There are an ob
overabundance of them and they are not selling quick. This is a non-story and I despise Sarah. I just about threw up when I heard she was moving here. Good riddance!
Riighht.....
DeleteWithout the house, how will she run for Senate in Arizona or Governor?
ReplyDeleteWell. They have been there several times since it went on the market. And trig ls babysitter does reside about 45 minutes away from it. So if the offer goes through the house won't have been without human care for very long at all.
ReplyDeleteWhat? Try again in English.
Deletesounds like Trig's mommy is in Arizona!
Delete@12:20 PM Is that you Piper? Are you still having trouble reading flash cards?
DeleteIf the woman DID sell her multi-million overpriced shack, she and her offspring won't have to go back to work just yet, unlike the president's 15-year-old daughter. http://uproxx.com/life/malia-obama-summer-job/
ReplyDeleteSomehow the lazy palin KKKlan ALWAYS get out of working for a living. SMH
Aint that the truth. Even when Brisdull sends "work" picture from the skin doctor, there are no patients around. No activity except among the "workers." What a lazy excuse for a con artist.
DeleteNobody who sees a plastic surgeon want sot be photographed next to Bristol. Duh!
DeleteThe doctor is actually a great dermatologist. I've seen him for decades. Winter in Alaska. I had a skin problem that several other docs couldn't cure. He knocked it out in a week. He's great. Everyone in his office is. I've seen Bristol. She is pleasant, cute and businesslike. I liked her. Stop saying disparaging things about this doc. He is unusually competent and effective. He even helped my elderly mother with a persistent problem.
DeleteThat place looks like a prison.
ReplyDeleteI have a small rental property built in 1930 that has more eye appeal than that monstrosity.

Trump Says Freedom of the Press Must Go Because He’s ‘Not Like Other People’
By Hrafnkell Haraldsson on Sat, Feb 27th, 2016 at 8:00 am
“With me, they’re not protected, because I’m not like other people...We’re gonna...have people sue you like you never get sued before.”
quote from article - "In fact, in his lack of knowledge of how government works, he ranks right up there with such luminaries as Sarah Palin."
http://www.politicususa.com/2016/02/27/trump-freedom-press-not-people.html
Didn't Sarah at one time think she could sue people over freedom of speech? She was so uninformed and stupid she thought it meant people couldn't publish anything they wanted to about her. lol what dumb asses they both are getting all mad when they are exposed for their lies.
DeleteNo Sarah I will not pay $2.499 million for that money pit.
ReplyDeleteHowever Sarah, we will gladly take that money pit off your hands for $2.0 million. No deal? Okay Sarah we'll be back in 9 months.
9 months later. Okay Sarah are you ready to get that money pit off your hands?
No Sarah, we will not pay $2.0 million for that money pit.
I know Sarah. 9 months ago we offered you $2.0 million for that money pit but that was 9 months ago.
Today's offer is $1,700,000.01 so you can show a profit of one cent.
No? Okay Sarah we will be back in 9 months.
Great, you came to your senses. Here's your check for $1,700,000.00
What do you mean what happened to the $1,700,000.01 offer?
The Trump Organization offered you $1,700,000.01 for that money pit and you turned it down.
Sarah do you want us to come back in 9 months and make you another offer for that money pit?
Didn't think so.
This is OT. Trump's in Iowa and using written talking points that he keeps going back to. His people give him a list of points usually and he rattles these off (and then actually throws the paper aside) and then has nothing more to say because he doesn't know anything so as to sustain talking on a topic that isn't himself, so it's frustrating to his team that he can never take advantage of anything that's out there on Hillary. But so far today he keeps going back to the paper to stay on topic. BUT he has to read from it--he can't even use his own words to make the points. His mind can't hold any facts or other relevant info. He's also growling less today and sounding subdued. Looks like he finally understands that he's been bombing for the past two weeks and his numbers are lower than anyone's have ever been.
ReplyDeleteMaybe he's on medication.

Reading poorly like a beginning actor. No entertainment factor. He will lose his fire and brimstone followers. Gone from firebrand to robot.

He was just in Maine and insulted the Somalia refugees: draining the state coffers etc, so I guess the medication wore off
T.Rump's been neutered by the GOP. Spread the word. Tiny hand now has no....
DeleteO/T Since Ivanka has no political experience and Gov Sarah Palin has experience as a mayor and governor of a state, I think President Trump should include the 2008 Republican Party Vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin in his cabinet.

Sarah Palin Resume:
"I think a lot about the Department of Energy, because energy is my baby - oil and gas and minerals, those things that God has dumped on this part of the earth for mankind's use instead of us relying on unfriendly foreign nations, for us to import their resources,"
POS Chicken-shit. Cries like a baby because someone touch him...wha wha wha...cry to mommy and hide behind her skirts.
ReplyDeleteThat was for George Zimmerman. I'm still upset about he and palin. They're both made from the same mold.
DeleteUnrelated to this post but question? I am aunt to my 5 siblings kids. I made the decision to not have kids early on because I value freedom over everything. And I knew my siblings would give me babies to love on. I was at the park yesterday when 3 nephews and 2 of their friends and holy crap, there should be a warning label on all kids. "This living creature will leave you with marks on your flesh, in some form."
ReplyDeleteWho knew something so small could cause that much damage ;) And the nieces aren't that different. They definitely need to do it though. Kids need to experience the full scale of emotion and push boundaries to just before the point of physical malady on themselves.
Off to continue nursing my bruises.
So, what was the question?
DeleteAlicia, did Trig or Tripp beat on Bristol?
Deletesee there are five babies of Barstool! ;)
DeleteIs 12:57 Willow or Piper?
DeleteThey sound like maladjusted little violent heathens. I'd recommend the parents seek professional help, one of the early signs of sociopathy is hurting others.
DeleteAre you drunk?
DeleteSarah IS the most frugal person in the planet after all.
ReplyDeleteoh good then restorative justice means instead of jail she has to live in the house instead?
Deletewhat house you ask? the one that made her resign! hey Sarah! Sarah? hahaha
Frugal? Her wigs look like she is homeless.
Deletelol
DeleteI remember way back to 09 when Sarah was looking for an outfit to wear to Bristol's graduation. A friend of mine, who is still friends with her, was helping her since she had a ton going on. Our mutual friend and Sarah joke daily about how frugal Sarah is. She won't throw out anything, that grad outfit was the same one she worn to the Time 100 gala, no staple kitchen ingredients go to waste. She notices if people around her look wasteful and she says "are you going to toss that, really?"
ReplyDeleteIt's like she is a stereotypical Jew .
sounds like a hoarder to me
DeleteWow, 1:02. Your comment is so offensive.
DeleteYeah, we've all seen that dress over and over...and over. Inappropriate for many occasions. Apparently she doesn't like wasting water either or she would smell a little better.
DeleteAnd apparently she likes to recycle, too! I swear the mop on her head looks like something she skinned while "harvesting protein" on Poopy Nugent's fenced hunt.
DeleteFriends of $arah's are bigots
Delete"It's like she is a stereotypical Jew ."
Delete----------------------
You are a bigoted POS.
I have to say, that photo of Sarah and Bristol posing beside the private jet just screams frugality ;-)
Delete1:02 PM Get your nose out of Sarah's stinky, unwashed ass.
DeleteJust a ploy to get attention.
ReplyDeleteI agree with earlier posters. She read hear and saw we were mocking her (Old Redneck, et al) and she by golly did something about it.
Only thing is, home sales are all public knowledge through local property tax and appraisal, and most listing companies tell you how much a house sold for.
So, it may take a bit of time, but the sale of this house and purchase price will show up online soon enough.
As I recall, the county assessors office has sale and purchase price online. I looked it up once.
Zillow will have all that data a few weeks after closing.
DeleteShe does only have Trig now, and Piper's food costs and other necessities. Piper is at the age where her siblings started working. I would wager she bought that for two reasons: she probably was thinking about a senate run down there. And Bristol found that school in AZ in like mid 2011 and loved it so it gave a place to stay. Though they do have friends in AZ.
ReplyDeleteAnd really, while it's convenient to have a home in a state you enjoy, having friends who welcome you any time they're home is also convenient if anyone in the family wants a vacay. Alaskans in general flock to Arizona.
Troll is trying so hard to fit in.
DeletePrattling away among the windmills of your mind.
Deletename one homeowner in Arizona who wants to put up the Palins in their (and and all of em) for a free vacay?
Delete1:57--Yep.
DeleteThe Palins have no friends in Arizona.
And actually, Piper's siblings may have started "working" when they were her age, but it wasn't for wages.
Piper's siblings were giving blowjobs in the stairwells at Juneau High School. The girlfriends of the boys who received those blowjobs from Bristol and Willow ran them out of JHS. That is why Sarah Palin concocted the 'mono' disease stories. Bristol's 'mono' started in her belly.

OMG it is the "Alaskans in general flock to Arizona" troll!!!
Deletebut, but, but a few posting ago you told us Alaskans in general flock to Hawaii.
Make up your mind!!!
This is a bugaboo of mine, but it's not too smart to think we're knowledgeable regarding another person's finances. While she's certainly got more money than when she was truly middle class, she's not wealthy. I bet the AZ house was purchased with some of the TLC money. They're still modest. Bristol and her cousins joke around that the few times Bristol splurged on a boat and some other camping oriented buy, she returned them within a week. They're smart people. I wish Levi had had that self-control with money back when he raked it in via grifting off hate and (proven) lies yet spent it on shit. Levi, you have a tiny family. At no point did your xmas tree need 100 gifts like in the past. Thats more than the huge Palin family combined.
ReplyDeleteGood lord, get fucked. You are so fucking stupid. Post on a Palin fan site. Maybe your name could be 'newparty'.

DeleteGeez Louise, who's in charge of keeping this rutabaga medicated? Your break is over. Get back to work.
DeleteYou give yourself away, troll, by bringing Levi into this. This post had nothing to do with him, but Bristol and her hateful little fans just can't get over that he got over her.
DeleteJesus Nefer! Fricking rutabaga! I about choked.

The FTC Is Cracking Down On Instagram Product Whoring
Terrible, awful, tragic news for famous people who like to make a little extra cash by shamelessly shilling teeth whitening products, waist trainers, laxative tea, and hair vitamins. According to Bloomberg Businessweek, the Federal Trade Commission will soon start coming for sponsored celebrity social media posts.
However this is Sarah Palin we are talking about so what do we think, two years?
ReplyDelete--------------
Not that long, don’t forget they just added another family member to support and he probable has a big liquor bill.
Also, too, Track Menard's baby with Jordan will have expenses, unless her parents pay all the bills.
DeleteSaw that Brissy is hawking a curling iron on her Instagram profile. So desperate.
ReplyDeleteLMAO! A curling iron, really? LMAO!
DeleteBristles should try hawking birth control pills and condoms. More in her line of expertice.
DeleteYes, really. She has a picture of herself, standing in front of a mirror, curling her hair.
Delete"bsmp2I keep my hair game in check with the ************** Curlin wand 🙆🏻 & right now you can get this amazing wand on SALE for only $45 with discount code: BP60 www.*******".com #curls"
https://www.instagram.com/p/BIVPs4ThEfZ/?hl=en
Well, it's a job. When Bristol says that her kids work at several jobs, like mentioning curling irons, use Bristol's special code at checkout. Then there are the energy drinks and diet tea. Three jobs, so far.
DeleteWho in their fuckin' right mind would buy anything from a cheap weaseling palin; any of'em, all of 'em?? Is she selling the demo model that she used?? Ewww!! Who knows where the hell else she used it! Ewww!!
DeleteThe FTC is putting a kibosh on "celebrity" instagram marketing". Guess the Stool needs to find another revenue outlet. Dlisted use very accurate terminology in their headline:
Deletehttp://dlisted.com/2016/08/05/the-ftc-is-cracking-down-on-instagram-product-whoring/
People don't actually purchase from the "celebrity" doing the advertising, they purchase from the company using the code provided on the instagram and then the "celebrity" gets a kickback on every purchase with that code.
DeleteThanks 3:49 for the link of Bristol and her curling iron. She's wearing a very "loose" fitting top!
DeleteJust a wild guess here but I don't think that Sarah can count on the same revenue stream to her PAC-Slush Fund the way she used to. And, she has more expenses coming up. Let's make a list.
ReplyDelete1. Track doesn't work, and he is going to be responsible for half of the upkeep of Jordan's Bundle of Joy, due in October.
2. Track is due back in court on August 8. Keeping Track out of jail, under court supervision and maybe in a treatment program costs money, especially the services of the lawyer who is making this happen.
3. Bristol doesn't have a job, and in that photo of where Tripp is shooting a gun, her black top makes it look as if another bundle of joy will be costing Sarah some more money. (Promoting an energy drink on her Instagram doesn't sound as if it brings in a lot of money).
4. Dakota promotes guns and holsters on line. Is he paid for this? He does get a monthly allowance for being MOH, but given Bristol's life style, that won't go far. Who thought that it was a good idea to put him on Fox again? Seriously? Is Sarah thinking of spending money to promote that guy's political future? LOL!
5. Willow. At least she has a business coloring and styling hair, but I don't think that job pays for her expensive car and her trips. Sarah must help help out.
6. Piper, I had no idea that school books, paper, back pack cost so much money.
7. Trig. We still see photos of the same baby sitter who was around when Bristol couldn't go to Walmart by herself and needed the baby sitter's help when she lived in Arizona. That sitter is a regular member of the family.
8. Todd doesn't seem to have a job, and after his accident, I wonder how he is doing. He must cost a pretty penny.
9. Sarah has a full time job posting articles from other blogs as a way to remain "relevant." She is no longer a political figure, and those posts do not justify having a PAC. Trump made it a point to tell her not to come to the convention. Sarah's wheels must be spinning, trying to dream up anything that will keep her in the public eye, justify her PAC, and keep a stream of money coming in. Good luck with that. Who is paying David French to write gun stuff for Bristol?
10. That is one ugly house. All of those features, basketball court etc. in the hot Arizona sun. Only someone from Alaska would think that was a good idea. What a waste of money when you could go on a two week vacation to a nice resort, have all of the same facilities without having to pay for the upkeep. Maybe Sarah saw herself running for public office and needing a base of operations in the lower 48. Sorry, but now that house is just a drain on Sarah's finances. She needs the money for other stuff.
11. Someone suggested that it was a dummy bid as if to say, "I have people interested so if you really want it, you should contact the realtor right now." I can't imagine who is in Scottsdale in the middle of a hot summer. The snow birds don't down fly down there until November, December and January. Most of all, Good Luck, Sarah. Trump slammed the door in your face and you must be having a bitch of time finding a money making outlet worthy of your talents. Don't work too hard.
Does Sarah get any pension money from being the mayor or governor?
DeleteOr other benefits?
DeleteWhen she bought it in 2011, Sarah did indeed have ambitions of high office. At that point she genuinely believed she was popular and respected. And a politician.
DeleteHer presidential campaign bus tour was such a monumental failure (we the people couldn't stay far enough away from Sarah and her bloodsucking family) that she was forced to "suspend" her campaign.
And look at her now, she's right where she deserves to be after thinking she could try to fool America a second time: old, hideous from too much plastic surgery, unwanted in the media and by real politicians, and going broke.
oh she has a long history of taking from an account all the while crucifying the owner of said account! isn't that right Sarah?
DeleteWhen a person tells so many lies and cheats the system illegally hush money costs can be very, very expensive.
DeleteI think the way it works is that she would receive retirement and Health benefits through the Public Employees Retirement System, but only when she ages into the system.
DeleteBut she didn’t retire, she QUIT !!!! I don’t think she worked long enough in the system to qualify for retirement benefits in fact she probable hasn’t worked long enough to even qualify for social security.
DeleteNo one earns social security credits writing facebook postings.
Maybe the Palin girls ('all of 'em, Katie) could offer free head to new owners. Headboards! Headbands! Headstart! Gosh people .... What did you think I meant??? Wink wink...
ReplyDelete"After 9 months on the market ... Palin originally listed the estate on December 21, 2015"
ReplyDelete---------------
If the house was listed 12/21/15, how has it been on the market 9 months on 8/5/16? More like 7 1/2 months at most.
Or is the listing calculated in Palin pregnancy time units?
Moreover, how would she make $1M off the sale having paid 1.7M to begin with? She'd make more in the order of $675K when all is said and done.
DeleteDon't forget the realtors fees. Here it would be 6% of the price. She will be lucky to break even after the basketball court, pool maintenance, interest, taxes, etc.
DeleteThe money , 'kickback' was made at the time of purchase. Most likely that is when the money was laundered through the PAC.
DeletePfft, Sarah will take whatever is offered. Trump didn't have her listed as someone part of his Cabinet, so she is desperate. Her kids don't work, and without PAC cash, how can they live vibrantly?
ReplyDeleteSince Ivanka has no political experience and Gov Sarah Palin has experience as a mayor and governor of a state, I think President Trump should include the 2008 Republican Party Vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin in his cabinet.
ReplyDelete- Lou Sarah
Sarah Palin Resume:
"I think a lot about the Department of Energy, because energy is my baby - oil and gas and minerals, those things that God has dumped on this part of the earth for mankind's use instead of us relying on unfriendly foreign nations, for us to import their resources,"
-Sarah Palin
Thank you for posting this! All the SNL and all the lampooning of Palin always pales in comparison to her actual words. Thank you!
DeleteI can see all of Sarah's special touches didn't help sell the place. It's not a bad house. Not as nice as similar priced houses in the area. But, her tasteless signature trailer style certainly can't be helping matters. I counted at least 40 fake plants and the bed linens? Atrocious. At least a couple of the beds look like they are covered in sleeping bags or sheets bought from the thrift store. And no, Sarree. You do not decorate this type of a house with primitive barn decor, you idiot!
ReplyDeletePart of me hopes Cecille Richards buys it at pennies on the dollar, and turns it into a clinic. Poetic Justice.
ReplyDeleteThe Palins are really dumb when it comes to buying houses. Pimple Popper bought at the height of the market and dumped it in a bad one. Sarah will end up doing the same.
Eh, you cheap bitch, pay someone to freaking stage your house. I can just hear her real estate agent make suggestions of what to do…and being ignored.
ReplyDeleteAlso, a $2 million house should really have a backsplash in the kitchen.
And side-by-side ovens is weird.
And the cabinets look nice in the landscape pictures, but…not so much close up and are probably wrong for market. The look poorly stained.
And I would expect such an expensive house to have much nicer light fixtures and chandeliers.
And also? I have nicer furniture, and all my stuff is from IKEA.
It looks like ol' barstool picked some of the ugly shit, or furniture...lol
DeleteThe entire interior needs to be gutted and remodeled as everything, appliances, tile, fixtures, lighting, flooring is two-decades out of date. I mean take a gander at those bathrooms!
DeleteI would have to assume that anyone with the money to purchase it would do just that and bring it up to modern standards prior to moving in. The terrible furniture could be from a staging company, but if it comes with it should be discarded as well, too heavy too dark to dated and it would never fit with a remodel.
The outside can pass, it's rather generic so could stand the test of time, but the interior is definitely very dated. 90's "Spanish Mission" gone wild! The bright and uncluttered exterior is just begging for a clean and bright interior to match. I hope someone bought it who will give it the care it deserves.
Is the rv still for sale.
ReplyDeleteSold.

A giant shack in the middle of the desert. I work in water, and that's not a good thing....just look at that shack in the middle of the desert.
ReplyDeleteWith the green, green grass. Is it real or is it fake? If it's real, how much water is needed to keep it so green?
DeleteHas to be fake grass. How fucking tacky is that? Usually, the "horse properties and McMansions" areas around Phoenix don't have ground water and are too far out for city water, so you have to have water trucked in. That place is an obscene waste in an area known for tastelessness.
DeleteThat might have been a nice house for entertaining, what with the pool and horses. But some dumbass tore up that nice back yard and stuck a big fucking basketball court in the middle of it. Just ruined the lawn. How many times do you go to a party to play basketball? Swim? Yes. Ride horses? Boy I wish.
ReplyDeleteIf anything that stupid basketball court brought the property value down. It's just an added expense to take the the useless eyesore out.
If Sarah Palin wants to increase the value of that prison in Arizona then she needs to rip out that basketball court and restore it back to its original condition before Sarah put her white trash touch to it. Come on, who plays basketball on scorching hot asphalt?
ReplyDeleteSarah's schtick is that she was a basketball player. In reality, she was a bench-warming, shitty basketball player. And a simple hoop on the driveway wouldn't cut it. Ms. look-at-me!! had to built a full-size court. I doubt any of the Palins have set foot on it more than once or twice.
DeleteMy bet is that she built that tacky-looking BB court just to have an excuse to bring up the topic of basketball and peddle that worn-out myth about her alledged prowess on the court. It is a conversation-piece and nothing more. I haven't spent more than a month or so in Arizona but even I know that noone would be out playing basketball in the blazing sun--even in winter it is 80 or 90 degrees. Unless there was a photo-shoot, I doubt any balls have ever been played through that hoop.
DeleteAccording to Bristol's latest Instagram comments, she is an "esthetician."
ReplyDeletehttps://www.instagram.com/p/BIyUIdsBgtS/?taken-by=bsmp2&hl=en
She's confused. She thinks that getting a chin implant and getting work done qualifies you, since she's at the face place most of the day.
DeletePlus, she saw the word there and thought it was a "smart" word to start using.
