In excerpts from an hourlong interview published by the Journal on Friday, Trump said: "If you get along and if Russia is really helping us, why would anybody have sanctions if somebody’s doing some really great things?"
Trump suggested he might do away with the sanctions - imposed by the Obama administration in late December in response to Moscow’s alleged cyber attacks - if Moscow proves helpful in battling terrorists and reaching other goals important to Washington, the Journal reported.
Trump told the newspaper he is prepared to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin some time after he is sworn in on Jan. 20.
"I understand that they would like to meet, and that’s absolutely fine with me," he said.
You know at least Trump could PRETEND he's not Putin's bitch once in awhile. You know just to create a little doubt.
It also does not help that his new National Security Advisor called the Russian Ambassador the day before those sanctions were put in place.
Gee, I wonder what they talked about?
There was also a story that Trump's first foreign trip as president would be to meet Putin in Iceland, but his spokesperson said that was false.
But remember folks, there is nothing to see here so just move along.not true - report is 100% false #facts https://t.co/nDSqknFD3R— Sean Spicer (@seanspicer) January 15, 2017
Move along dammit!
I'm sooo glad somebody is "optimistic about the future" especially when she's a big BuyBull thumping conservative. Her daughters will pay the price for her stupidity.
ReplyDeleteLeave the Johnstons out of this. It is not a Palin thread.
DeleteLots of attention seeking behavior lately. Sad!

ReplyDelete"The CIA chief roundly denounced Trump's approach to Russia and other national security threats, suggesting the president-elect has much to understand before he can make informed decisions on such matters.
"The world is watching now what Trump says and listening very carefully. If he doesn't have confidence in the intelligence community, what signal does that send to our partners and allies as well as our adversaries?" <Brennan
And think of all of the operatives around the world, ours and those of our traditional allies, who will face grave risk. I have a feeling that our long-time allies will suddenly not share information with this country out of fear for their sources around the world. What a mess we're going to find ourselves in this coming weekend.

Oh well, if Spicer says it, then that's all we need to know.
ReplyDeleteWait a minute, Spicer is as much a lying no good weasel as his boss, and since he defends his boss, he is just as much a traitor as him.
ANY hire/appointment is as big a POS as the bloated goat he's "serving." Have yet to see one that isn't!
DeleteReykjavik has some seamy sites for both Putin and Trump. Maybe they could be porn movie critics together?
ReplyDeleteIf that is his first foreign trip as president, I anticipate he will leave right after the inauguration so he doesn't have to watch the thousands of women(pussies) protesting on the streets of DC.
Reykjavik also has a penis museum. Trump and Vlad should meet there as they are the biggest dicks in the world.
DeleteTokyo had a parasite museum. I think Donnie would fit in there, too.
DeleteWell, if Spicer says it's 100% false, then you *know* it's true.
ReplyDeleteFlynn, another traitor that should be interrogated.
ReplyDeleteWhy do they have to meet? they have been in contact for at least the last year.
If the sanctions are lifted then (American) Exxon can drill on their 64+ million acres of Russian land. Netting the Exxon corp. and Putin approx. half a trillion in potential profits. They had just started drilling when the 2011 sanctions were enacted and it put a halt on all of Exxon's business in Russia. This is all about the money, honey. Hence, Rex Tillerson's bid for Sec. of State. So, they aren't necessarily talking about the recent sanctions, but the 2011 ones. I'm sure Trump's administration will lift all sanctions, recent or otherwise.
ReplyDeleteEXACTLY. WHY WHY WHY isn't this being talked about everywhere? Rachel Maddow did a great job of covering it. Trump wants an excuse to free up the 64 million acres for Exxon's oil drilling. The food and other sanctions are peanuts. And BTW, Russia's papers have been talking all week about how it looks pretty certain that the sanctions will be lifted--the people there are getting excited about shopping for things like Parmesan cheese (who knew they loved it so much).
DeleteYep. It's a lot of money for Putin and Exxon. The only reason they would have Trump dancing on a string is for HUGE amounts of money. For Russia and big business (Exxon)! It's ALWAYS about money.
DeleteAnd the environment will continue to go down the tubes. Miami might go under decades ahead of scientists' predictions. What will happen to Trump's Florida resort?

Effed up prez elect. We r russa extended.
ReplyDeleteI have a funny feeling that on Friday we will no longer be living in a country called the United States.
ReplyDeleteIt's just a funny feeling. I feel like Trump will sit on the throne and take us back into the dark ages. Putin is giggling senselessly about this. His ultimate revenge. Us being taken down not by nukes, nor enemies but an orange fool. We may have a civil war. The Deplorables against the rest of us. Horrors. How did we get here?
In his Times British interview, he claimed that the EU was really all about Germany wanting domination. He has this thing about Merkel. So does Putin. They both want to bring her down.
ReplyDeleteThe U.S. elections were a test run to fine tune the method. They're going after Germany and Merkel next. Hopefully the Germans won't be as stupid as the Americans, having seen what happened with Brexit in the U.K and now Trump here.
DeleteNeither of them respects women. It's one of the reasons Putin targeted Hillary Clinton.

Folks need to stop worrying about these windbags and their vile stinch. Gryphen knows the end game. Don't worry be happy. };-)
