Hillary Clinton and Elizabeth Warren to campaign together in Cincinnati. Doesn't mean a thing, right?

Hillary Clinton will campaign Monday in Cincinnati with progressive U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts – marking Clinton's first public appearance in Cincinnati this election cycle and her first campaign stop with Warren, a possible vice presidential pick.

And then there is this from the Washington Post: 

The Hillary Clinton campaign has begun checking into the positions, backgrounds and financial dealings of at least three potential vice presidential candidates, Democrats familiar with the process said Tuesday: Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julián Castro, Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts and Sen. Timothy M. Kaine of Virginia.

Clinton herself has said only that her top priority is choosing someone who could become president in a heartbeat, but close allies have said she is also focused on picking a partner with whom she is personally comfortable and someone able to rally congressional Democrats and energize the party.

"Rally congressional Democrats and energize the party?"

Come on, who else does that really describe?

Besides you know if Hillary were not going to pick Elizabeth Warren as her VP it is hard to believe that she would so nakedly dangle the possibility in front of us only to snatch it away at the last minute.

I'm telling you, the Clinton/Warren ticket would steamroll right over Trump and the poor schlub that he tricks into losing with him.

So that Cincinnati university cop who shot that black man in the head made bail, and he is receiving donations to his legal fund from around the country. Man is racism lucrative or what?

Former University of Cincinnati police officer Ray Tensing has bonded out of jail. 

He posted 10 percent of his $1 million bond, according to the Hamilton County Clerk of Courts website. 

Maj. Charmaine McGuffey, of the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department, said Tensing left the jail at about 6:45 p.m. He'd been under suicide watch during his time behind bars, she said. 

People from all over the country offered to help pay the $1 million bond, Tensing's attorney said Thursday. 

Tensing had to make a mandatory $100,000 surety payment – 10 percent of his $1 million bond – to secure his release until trial. 

"Ever since the bond was set, I've received calls from around the country from people wanting to contribute to it," attorney Stew Mathews said. "I think people feel like he's getting railroaded here in Cincinnati. You'd have to be blind not to see that.”

Yeah you know I'm not blind, but I certainly don't see any "railroading" here.  

What I did see is this glorified mall cop pulling out his weapon when there was no call to do so, and shooting a father of ten right in the head for not having his driver's license on him.

People can watch the video themselves and see if they come up with a different conclusion, but I would be highly suspicious of their motivations if they did.

And let's face it if this cop had shot a white guy in the head, he would most likely still be cooling his heels in a jail cell. But somehow when a white cop shoots a black man, there is a segment of the population that immediately thinks he is going to be treated unfairly by the system and they are determined to help him to be found innocent.

To be fair there is a group on the other side with the exact opposite reaction, but in this case I feel they are the ones who are justified in their fears that this cop will get away with this murder.

UC police officer Ray Tensing's body camera video clearly shows that he committed "murder" when he shot and killed an unarmed black motorist at a traffic stop, prosecutor Joe Deters said Wednesday. 

The shocking video shows Tensing grab the outside door latch on 43-year-old Sam DuBose's car after DuBose couldn't produce a driver's license. 

Tensing tells DuBose to take his seat belt off. 

As Tensing pulls the door open a few inches, DuBose pulls it close and says, "I didn't do nothing, man." 

As DuBose turns the key and revs the engine, Tensing pulls his gun, shouts, "Stop! Stop!" and shoots DuBose in the head through the open window. 

Showing the video publicly for the first time, Deters called it an "asinine, senseless shooting," and announced that a grand jury had indicted Tensing for murder.

I've watched this video about three times now, and there is really no other way to interpret other than a police officer becoming upset with a non-compliant driver and then firing at his head to keep him from "getting away."

But there was no place for that young man to go. The officer had his name, had his license plate number, and there were other police on the scene.

I don't even think Fox News could spin this in the cop's favor.

Personally I hope they throw the book at this cop, and then use this video as a training tool for rookie cops to teach them what NOT to do.

Police officer accidentally shoots himself with own gun while in elevator.

A Kentucky police officer is recovering from injuries after accidentally shooting himself in an elevator, authorities said over the weekend. 

Cincinnati police told WCPO that Erlanger Officer Darryl Jouett was heading back to his car after having dinner with his wife when the incident occurred on Saturday. 

In video released on Monday, Jouett can be seen getting in an elevator with a woman. He holds a box with one hand while attempting to adjust his pistol with his other hand. After fumbling with the pistol several times, it appears to discharge into his stomach. 

The woman in the elevator immediately covers her ears while Jouett and his pistol fall to the floor. After being stunned for a moment, Jouett’s quick thinking companion grabs her cell phone to call for help.

I have watched this a couple of time now, but I still cannot figure out exactly why he pulled out his gun while standing next to a civilian on an elevator.

Well I can certainly see how having more guns in more places makes all of us more safe.
