Axios gets its hands on Robert Mueller's hit list, and it's a doozy.

What Mueller is asking for: Mueller is subpoenaing all communications — meaning emails, texts, handwritten notes, etc. — that this witness sent and received regarding the following people: 

1. Carter Page 
2. Corey Lewandowski 
3. Donald J. Trump 
4. Hope Hicks 
5. Keith Schiller 
6. Michael Cohen 
7. Paul Manafort 
8. Rick Gates 
9. Roger Stone 
10. Steve Bannon 

The subpoena asks for all communications from November 1, 2015, to the present. Notably, Trump announced his campaign for president five months earlier — on June 16, 2015.

Ga-damn! Mueller is definitely not fooling around.

Take a look at how many of those on this list are no longer workign in the White House, and how many never even made it that far.

And you KNOW that Mueller has already gained access to these records from Rick Gates, Steve Bannon, and Carter Page.

I heard on cable new this morning that it appears Mueller is approaching this much the same way he did while investigating organized crime families.

Seems appropriate.

By the way it is clearly getting to Trump, who tweeted this out this morning.

Not only is that completely inaccurate but it also indicates that Trump is freaking the hell out.

Another White House staffer resigned yesterday over accusations of spousal abuse.

A White House speechwriter resigned Friday after his former wife claimed that he was violent and emotionally abusive during their turbulent 2½ -year marriage — allegations that he vehemently denied, saying she was the one who victimized him. 

The abrupt departure of David Sorensen, a speechwriter who worked under senior policy adviser Stephen Miller, came as The Washington Post was reporting on a story about abuse claims by his ex-wife, Jessica Corbett. Corbett told The Post that she described his behavior to the FBI last fall as the bureau was conducting a background check of Sorensen. 

White House officials said they learned of the accusations by Sorensen’s wife Thursday night, before The Post contacted the White House for comment. 

“We immediately confronted the staffer, he denied the allegations and he resigned today,” spokesman Raj Shah said in a statement Friday evening. 

In a text message to The Post, Sorensen said he stepped down because he “didn’t want the White House to have to deal with this distraction.”

"This distraction" being that he beat his wife?

I swear it is beginning to look as if one of the necessary prerequisites to working in this White House is that you had to have abused a spouse, sexually assaulted somebody, or had inappropriate contact with a child.

That may seem a little tongue in cheek, but it is actually supported by the facts.

Keep in mind that before this guy there was Corey Lewandowski, who was charged with assaulting a female reporter as well as sexual assault.

Steve Bannon, who was once charged with domestic violence by his former wife.

Trump's pick for  Labor Secretary, Andrew Puzder, who also charged with domestic violence.

Rob Porter who had to step down after being accused by both of his ex-wives of being a serial abuser.

And though he was not in the White House, Roy Moore was also a Trump favorite, even though he was credibly accused of sexual assault and of being a pedophile.

Peoples lives are being shattered and destroyed by a mere allegation. Some are true and some are false. Some are old and some are new. There is no recovery for someone falsely accused - life and career are gone. Is there no such thing any longer as Due Process?

Of course perhaps the biggest abuser in the White House inner circle would be Trump himself, who has been accused of various kinds of abuse by no less than 18 women.

So yeah, one has to wonder if there is a box marked "sexual predator" on the White House application form, and if not filled in you might as well look for work elsewhere?

Former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski has lawyered up. Update!

Corey Lewandowski, the president’s erstwhile campaign manager, has lawyered up. The Daily Beast has learned that Peter Chavkin, of Mintz Levin, is representing Lewandowski for purposes of the Russia investigations. Lewandowski helmed Trump’s campaign until Paul Manafort took over on May 19, 2016. A month later, the campaign announced that Lewandowski was out. There’s significant animosity between the two men. 

Apparently Lewandowsky is testifying today to the House Intelligence Committee.

I have no idea what Lewandowski knows, or doesn't know.

But I have faith that once his testimony is released that it will prove quite entertaining.

Is it just me or does anybody else hear the tune "Another One Bites the Dust" every time another former Trump campaign or current White House staffer is identified as a potential witness in these investigations?

Update: It looks like Lewandowski is taking a page from the Steve Bannon playbook.

Included in the questions Lewandowski would not answer was: "Did you have a conversation with the president of the United States within the last 24 hours where you discussed your testimony?" said Schiff.

New book paints Donald Trump as glutton for fast food and raving lunatic. And this was written by supporters.

So the Washington Post got their hands on a preview copy of Corey Lewandowski's tell all book about the Trump campaign called "Let Trump Be Trump."

Which is kind of an ironic title since the book is filled with examples of what a terrible personality Trump has and how volatile and mercurial his temper can be.

Here are a few examples.

Trump's temper: 

“Sooner or later, everybody who works for Donald Trump will see a side of him that makes you wonder why you took a job with him in the first place,” the authors wrote. “His wrath is never intended as any personal offense, but sometimes it can be hard not to take it that way. The mode that he switches into when things aren’t going his way can feel like an all-out assault; it’d break most hardened men and women into little pieces.”

The authors “both had moments where they wanted to parachute off Trump Force One,” but they said they got used to it

.In a section of the book written by Lewandowski, Trump is described as flying on his helicopter when he learns that Manafort has said “Trump shouldn’t be on television anymore, that he shouldn’t be on the Sunday shows” and that Manafort should appear instead. Trump was angrier than Lewandowski had ever seen him, ordering the pilot to lower the altitude so he could make a cellphone call. 

“Did you say I shouldn’t be on TV on Sunday? I’ll go on TV anytime I g--dam f---ing want and you won’t say another f---ing word about me!” Trump yelled at Manafort, according to Lewandowski. “Tone it down? I wanna turn it up! . . . You’re a political pro? Let me tell you something. I’m a pro at life. I’ve been around a time or two. I know guys like you, with your hair and skin . . .” 

Lewandowski called it “one of the greatest takedowns in the history of the world.”

Trump's gluttony:

Trump’s fast-food diet is a theme. “On Trump Force One there were four major food groups: McDonald’s, Kentucky Fried Chicken, pizza and Diet Coke,” the authors write. 

The plane’s cupboards were stacked with Vienna Fingers, potato chips, pretzels and many packages of Oreos because Trump, a renowned germaphobe, would not eat from a previously opened package. 

The book notes that “the orchestrating and timing of Mr. Trump’s meals was as important as any other aspect of his march to the presidency,” and it describes the elaborate efforts that Lewandowski and other top aides went through to carefully time their delivery of hot fast food to Trump’s plane as he was departing his rallies.

Lewandowski described a typical Trump dinner order  as consisting of  "Two Big Macs, two Filet-o-fish sandwiches, and a chocolate malt."

And this was not a weekend binge meal, this was a consistent meal choice.

Hope Hicks: 

One of Hicks’s jobs was to make sure that Trump’s suits were pressed when they flew on his plane. “ 

‘Get the machine!’ ” Trump would yell, according to the book. “And Hope would take out the steamer and start steaming Mr. Trump’s suit, while he was wearing it! She’d steam the jacket first and then sit in a chair in front of him and steam his pants.” 

One day, when Hicks forgot the steamer, Trump became angry. 

“G--dammit, Hope! How the hell could you forget the machine?” 

The authors wrote, “It was a mistake she would never make again.”

Oh yeah, she's doing him.

Lewandowski and his co-author, former senior campaign aide David Bossie, still express support for Trump which kind of makes you wonder what the books that come out about Trump from people who eventually turned on him will contain.

Carter Page's testimony before the House Intelligence Committee is....enlightening.

Former Trump campaign volunteer Carter Page, who has come under scrutiny in the investigation of Russian election interference, told a House committee that he sought permission for a July 2016 trip to Moscow from senior Trump campaign officials, and reported to other Trump officials about the trip when he returned. 

It’s long been known that Page traveled to Moscow in July 2016, but he has said it was in his private capacity, unrelated to his role with the Trump campaign. 

Page, whose sworn testimony was released Monday night, told the House Intelligence Committee last week that he sought permission to make the trip from campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, and also notified Hope Hicks, who is now the White House communications director. 

Lewandowski told Page he was clear to go on the trip as long as the travel was not associated with his work on the campaign, Page told the committee.

However as it turns out Page was kind of representing the campaign to some degree on the trip, and he DEFINITELY talked with Russian government officials about the campaign.  So that sort makes it feel that it WAS associated with his work on the campaign.

Reporter Natasha Bertrand also points out that some of Page's testimony reinforces the documentation in the Christopher Steele Russian dossier.

Page revealed during his testimony that he met with both members of Russia's presidential administration and with the head of investor relations at the state-owned Russian oil giant Rosneft during his trip to Moscow last July. 

He also congratulated members of the Trump campaign's foreign policy team on July 14 for their "excellent work" on the "Ukraine amendment" — a reference to the Trump campaign's decision to "intervene" to water down a proposed amendment to the GOP's Ukraine platform. 

The original amendment proposed that the GOP commit to sending "lethal weapons" to the Ukrainian army to fend off Russian aggression. But it was ultimately altered to say "provide appropriate assistance" before it was included in the party's official platform. The dossier alleges that the campaign "agreed to sideline" the issue of Russia's invasion of Crimea and interference in eastern Ukraine in exchange for dirt on Hillary Clinton. 

Apparently Page was a confounding witness who attempted to plead with Fifth in response to some questions and then became quite chatty in response to others.

He also provided testimony which often seemed to contradict itself, and he probably perjured himself on several occasions.

Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff confronted Page with an email he wrote on July 8 from Moscow to Trump campaign adviser J.D. Gordon saying that he had received "incredible insights and outreach from a few Russian legislators and senior members of the presidential administration here." 

Former British spy Christopher Steele wrote in the dossier that an "official close to Presidential Administration Head, S. IVANOV, confided in a compatriot that a senior colleague in the Internal Political Department of the PA, DIVYEKIN (nfd) also had met secretly with PAGE on his recent visit." 

According to that official in the dossier, Diveykin told Page that the Kremlin had a dossier of kompromat on Hillary Clinton that they wanted to give to the Trump campaign. 

In his congressional testimony, Page denied meeting with Diveykin and said the "senior members of the presidential administration" that he had referred to in his email was actually just "a brief, less-than-10-second chat with [deputy Prime Minister] Arkadiy Dvorkovich." 

He said his mention of "legislators" was a reference to "a few people who were shaking hands" with him in passing. 

Like I said, "enlightening." 

Trump supporter Corey Lewandowski is asked how he can have so little self respect that he would support a bigot and a liar. The room erupted in laughter at his answer.

The Oxford Union is a debating society that is located in Oxford, England, and its membership is drawn largely from the student body of the University of Oxford. While Lewandowski was speaking at the Union, members of the University of Oxford Student Union organized a protest outside, stating “fascists are not welcome here.” 

Lewandowski was asked by one young woman how he had so little self-respect that you can stand here and defend a candidate who’s not only a bigot, but a liar who doesn’t have the courtesy to follow through,” leading to the former CNN political commentator to provide the following answer. 

"Well, the good news is I’m seated doing that, so I don’t have to stand, so I appreciate that. But here’s what it comes down to: Mexico will pay for the wall, and it’s very simple."

At that of course the students began to laugh out loud, which is the response that you would expect from any person intelligent enough to be attending university.

You will also notice that he never actually answered her question about his self respect, probably because he does not possess any.

Let's face it if you are a Trump supporter you are either as dumb as a box of rocks, a racist POS, or you are being financially compensated for your loyalty.

I would imagine that Lewandowski falls into that last category, but I would not be surprised to learn that the other two pertain to him as well.

Former campaign manager confirms that James Comey letter helped Donald Trump win election.

Corey Lewandowski, who is expected to be offered a key position in the Trump administration, described the move as "amazing" and said it gave the Republican candidate the "spring in his step" he needed to win the race. 

"With eleven days to go, something amazing happened," Mr Lewandowski said in a speech at the Oxford Union debating society on Wednesday evening. 

"The FBI's director James [Comey] came out on a Friday and he said they may be reopening the investigation into Crooked Hillary's emails. 

"What that did was remind people that there are two different rules in Washington - those of the elites, and the privileged and those for everybody else. (Actually what it did was to reinforce voter concerns that Hillary would be indicted, when that was never going to happen.)

"When Comey moved forward with that investigation... it allowed the campaign a little spring in their step, and for them to redouble their efforts." 

So now we have the Clinton campaign and the Trump campaign essentially in agreement that James Comey helped steal this election from Hillary Clinton.

In my opinion this entire Trump "victory" is a sham that should be discounted entirely.

However I don't think we have a mechanism in place to do that, plus ANYTHING the Democrats do in response to all of this will be seen as a partisan attack and be dismissed by the media and the majority of Americans completely.

I think we are stuck with this outcome, and no petition or attempt to dismantle the electoral college is going to change that.

CNN staffers in revolt over hiring of Donald Trump's former campaign manager.

Sources told Page Six on Friday that CNN’s “facing a near internal revolt” over Jeff Zucker’s hiring of Lewandowski as an exclusive commentator for the news network days after he was fired as Donald Trump’s campaign manager. 

“CNN is facing a near internal revolt over the Corey hiring,” said a TV insider, who described many in the newsroom as “livid.” “Female reporters and producers especially . . . They are organizing and considering publicly demanding” that Lewandowski be let go. 

The Post reported on Monday that the Donald’s daughter Ivanka gave her dad an ultimatum to cut Corey loose after she was distressed by news he’d grabbed reporter Michelle Fields by the arm at a Florida event, and by a Page Six report that he recently got into a shouting match on a Midtown street with campaign spokeswoman Hope Hicks. 

At CNN, the hiring of the former Trump campaign manager on Thursday didn’t only alienate women on staff. A source further said that “Latinos and others in the newsroom feel betrayed by an homage to Trump,” so “they may do a public letter” objecting to the move.

Good job CNN!

Now not only have you irreparably damaged your journalistic credibility, but you have also caused internal strife among your own people.

And the thing is the guy is still honoring a confidentiality agreement with his old boss, so what good is he anyhow?

Three days after being ousted from the Donald Trump campaign, Corey Lewandowski is a political commentator for CNN. 

On Thursday Lewandowski joined CNN's stable of political experts who appear across the channel's newscasts and talk shows. 

For CNN executives, the hiring was a coup. Lewandowski brings first-hand experience running a historic presidential campaign. 

But his hiring was also highly controversial, even within the newsroom, in part because he has a reputation for being hostile toward journalists.

Yeah do you know what else is controversial?

The fact that Lewandowski signed a confidentiality agreement with Trump, much like his ex-wives, which forbids him from saying anything critical, ie true, about the Donald's campaign.

This is like hiring a songbird with its mouth taped closed.

So what did CNN get for its investment?

A highly partisan anti-Hillary attack dog with virtually no neutrality on any issue pertaining to his old boss.

So are we to assume that CNN will soon be the new home of Trump TV?
