According to Nathan Lane, "if you want to get to the right place, at the right time, the pro-gay bandwagon is the only way to travel."

Now I realize that this is two pro-gay posts in a row, which means in a few minutes the "Hah! I KNEW you were a fag" troll will be visiting my comments section soon.

So as a sort of preemptive strike, let me just remind everybody visiting here that I am a VERY liberal, single man, living with his daughter, who often wears tank tops and enjoys listening to show tunes.

Wow, you know what? That does sound kind of gay.

Well anyhow, despite all indications to the contrary, I am not gay.  Trust me, if I were you would be the first to know.

Well probably the second to know actually.

Considering my lifestyle, my job, and my friends there is no reason I would keep my sexuality hidden. So I don't.

Just because I support gay rights and marriage equality it does not make me gay.  It makes me a human being.

I also write in support of women's rights, minority rights, and even sometimes animal rights.

So by the logic of some people, I would have to be a gay, dark skinned, female, Labrador retriever.

Which I'm not.

At least I don't think.

Just thought I would put that out there.
