Donald Trump settles Trump University case for 25 million. Oh yeah, nothing guilty about that.

Courtesy of NBC News:

Donald Trump has reached an agreement to settle the lawsuit against Trump University for $25 million, New York's attorney general said Friday.

The settlement likely means that Trump will avoid becoming possibly the first sitting president to testify in open court.

New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman called the settlement "a major victory for the over 6,000 victims of his fraudulent university." Lawyers involved in the cases say the settlement applies to all three lawsuits against Trump University including two cases filed in California.

The trial for one of the cases had been scheduled to start Nov. 28.

The $25 million figure will be split among the students who sued, minus the legal fees.

Trump will also pay up to $1 million in penalties to the state of New York, Schneiderman said.

Wasn't Donald Trump also the guy who said this:

“I don’t settle cases,” he told MSNBC, later adding, “You know what happens? When you start settling lawsuits, everybody sues you.”

Except he does in fact settle lawsuits, saying he doesn't is just another one of his never ending stream of lies.

Of course he has another lie to cover for his settlement as well.
Yeah, if you think Donald Trump is going to do anything for the good of this country you would have to be one of those simple shits who voted for him.

Nah he settled it because he was going to lose "bigly" and he knew it.  And he knew that with all of this press attention that everybody would see it happen and he would be humiliated.

Settling this case is as good as an admission of guilt, and a signal to all of the other people with lawsuits pending against Trump, of which apparently there are 75 or more, that the candy store is open and that Trump will pay big to deflect from his legal problems.

More troubling is that it is also a message to America's enemies that Trump is a blowhard who talks tough but folds when directly challenged.

John Oliver comparing the scandals of Hillary to Donald Trump's is something you must see before the debate tonight.

My favorite part:

Think of it like this: Ethical failings in a politician are like raisins in a cookie ... They shouldn't be there. They disgust people. But most politicians have at least a few raisins. Hillary arguably has more raisins than average. There's probably 10 of these little fuckers in there … But [Trump] is a fucking raisin monsoon! He is ethically compromised to an almost unprecedented degree. So if you don't like raisins, I get it – they're disgusting. But unfortunately, this November, you're gonna have to swallow 10 or we're all going to be eating this shit for years.

I hate raisins so this was the perfect metaphor.

And that is really it.

Sure Hillary Clinton has done some things which can be interpreted as shady. But when you really examine them, there is really very little or nothing scandalous to be found.

However Donald Trump is so unbelievably corrupt, manipulative,  and full of shit that you become exhausted when reading about his numerous and never ending scandals.

There really is no choice here.

Only one of these people should ever even be considered for a job in politics, especially for the most important political job on the planet.

Hillary Clinton ad brilliantly turns Donald Trump's "pay for play" allegations against the Clinton Foundation right back on him. Update!

In my opinion Trump really does not have a good line of attack against Hillary at this point.

If he attacks her on policy she has reams of information that back up her policy decisions, and the positive effect they will have on the American people.

If he attacks her for being a "criminal" she can simply point out that he is being investigated by the New York District Attorney concerning his "nonprofit" foundation, or Newsweek's investigation into his secretive business deals with foreign governments and known criminals.

And as for her health, well let's just say that one note from the wackiest doctor NOT featured on a children's cartoon series is not going to convince anybody that his health is better than hers.

P.S. By the way did you all see Trump get shut down by a pastor in Flint, Michigan when he started to attack Hillary?

Well she's asking for some ugly tweets.

Update: Actually she received more than a tweet from Trump.

He lied about her and about what happened.

Good question. Update!

And the thing is that right now the media is working over time in an attempt to slime Hillary with allegations that folks who contributed to the Clinton Foundation got special access, and here they have a factually based story of bribery and political corruption and virtually all you hear are crickets.

Update: Trump claims there is no connection between the donation and the Trump U case.

Here is a picture of Donald Trump walking with the Florida Attorney General that he totally did not pay to dismiss a lawsuit against him just last month.

New Hillary Clinton campaign ad uses Trump University to troll the Donald.

Courtesy of Politico:

The ad goes through each step: 1. Sign up at Trump University. 2. Pay for Trump University … “at the amazing price of everything you have!” And as the narrator comes to step three, the ad says “there is no step three. You won’t learn anything. It’s that easy!”

Trump University — a real estate seminar business started by Trump — is the subject of two class-action lawsuits, and a $40 million lawsuit from New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, POLITICO previously reported.

The nearly minute-and-a-half spot hits Trump for his wealth multiples times.

The ad starts with the following message in bright yellow lettering: “Donald Trump is world famous … for making a fortune … for being famous … for having a fortune.”

It concludes by saying “don’t miss this once in a lifetime chance to give your hard-earned money to a ‘billionaire.’”

I think the new strategy for dealing with Donald Trump is to say something that pisses him off enough to respond on Twitter and then use that against him as well.

Yep, works for me.

Trump dump: Trump campaign is broke, judge to release documents about Trump University, Marco Rubio apologized for pointing out Trump has a small penis.

You heard him folks, the only person whose words matter are Donald Trump's.

And here we go.

Courtesy of the Washington Examiner:

Donald Trump's campaign has alerted Senate Republicans that he won't have much money to spend fending off attacks from Hillary Clinton over the next couple months.

The notice came when Paul Manafort, Trump's senior advisor, met with a group of Senate Republican chiefs of staff for lunch last week, sources familiar with the meeting told the Washington Examiner. The admission suggests that Trump will be far more dependent on the GOP brass for money than he has led voters to believe, but it's consistent with his reliance on the Republican National Committee to provide a ground game in battleground states.

"They know that they're not going to have enough money to be on TV in June and probably most of July, until they actually accept the nomination and get RNC funds, so they plan to just use earned media to compete on the airwaves," one GOP source familiar with Manafort's comments told the Examiner.

Well so much for "I'm self funding my own campaign."

Actually money, or the lack thereof, is playing a big part in revealing who Donald Trump is in real life.

Did you know that he accepted $150,000 from the Federal governemtn after 9-11 by claiming he was a "small business?" Well he did.

That of course follows the news that he received a tax break given to married couples who make $500,000 or less in a year. That's made more interesting by the fact that Trump's financial report claims he made $362 million in 2014.

Just where are those tax returns Donald?

As if all of that were not troubling enough for Donald Trump the judge overseeing the class action lawsuits being brought against Trump University for fraud is now going to release the "playbooks" which among other things directed sales people to rank students based on their liquid assets in order to sell the wealthier ones more courses.

That might have been in response to these comments from Trump on Friday:

“I have a judge who is a hater of Donald Trump, a hater. He’s a hater. His name is Gonzalo Curiel ... I think Judge Curiel should be ashamed of himself,” Mr. Trump said at Friday's rally, echoing many of the same points he made in speeches a few months ago. “I’m telling you, this court system, judges in this court system, federal court, they ought to look into Judge Curiel. Because what Judge Curiel is doing is a total disgrace, OK?"

Seriously could you even begin to imagine this arrogant buffoon negotiating with other countries on our behalf?

And finally we learn that Marco Rubio apparently apologized to Donald Trump in private for those remarks about his tiny hands:

“I actually told Donald — one of the debates, I forget which one — I apologized to him for that.”

Please is there anybody ANYWHERE who does not already realize that Donald Trump has a tiny, possibly ingrown, Trump stump for a penis?

I mean that does kind of explain almost everything about him, don't you think?
