This is SNL alum and certifiable crazy lady, Victoria Jackson discussing the fact that President Obama is a secret Atheist/Muslim as well as an "evil presence" with Republican Party candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Virginia, E.W. Jackson. (No relation.)

Man I wonder how Virginia can even show their face in public after the string of lunatics that they have nominated or elected to office in recent years.

And here I thought Alaska was bad! (Okay well it IS bad! But now that we have Virginia to compare ourselves to we can start to regain a little of our self esteem.)

Former "Saturday Night Live" actress Victoria Jackson, working on confidential information she as a web talk show host has special clearance to obtain, has claimed that the United States is being overtaken by radical Muslims bent on bringing the nation under Sharia law. 

"I just went to a briefing in Washington DC, across the street from the Capitol, at the Longworth building at 8:30 am two days ago and it changed my life," Jackson said last week on her web show, "Politichicks." "For six hours, I saw pictures and names and dates and facts and Islamic law books and Korans, Surahs for six hours and they proved to me... that the Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated our highest positions in government and this is serious." 

Jackson also detailed the meeting in an earlier blog post this December. In that post, she details testimony given by John Guandolo, a former FBI agent who worked on the case against former Louisiana Rep. William Jefferson. Guandolo resigned from the FBI in 2008 after he was caught trying to score a $75,000 donation for an anti-terrorism group from a wealthy Jefferson case witness with whom he was having an affair. Guandolo now gives speeches on the existential threat of Islam, claiming that Muslim groups are using political correctness and political insurgency to stop FBI and police officers from stopping their spread of Sharia law. 

The actress-turned-pundit also reported testimony from Maj. Stephen Coughlin, who in 2008 was effectively fired from his post at the Joint Chiefs of Staff, because, many conservatives believe, he was a staunch anti-Islamic extremist advocate. Wired reports that his contract was not renewed after a staffer for Gordon England, then the deputy secretary of defense, raised questions about his work. Last January, Coughlin gave a maligned speech during an FBI presentation on Muslim extremism.

Jesus! The stupidity is enough to make your head explode.  How in the WORLD does anybody take these idiotic women seriously?

Anybody who actually believes that Jackson was provided with "confidential information," that was NOT entirely made up or discredited, is a moron. Just imagine a reputable law enforcement representative telling Victoria Jackson ANYTHING "confidential!"

However there is a small faction of radical right wing Americans who want to believe this is true, so they buy the whole thing hook, line, and sinker.

The idea that Secretary of State Clinton is establishing Sharia law in America, or that President Obama is a "secret Muslim terrorist sympathizer, or that Timothy McVeigh had Islamic connections is simply too ignorant to contemplate. And yet these women verbalize them as facts.

As much as I would simply like to ignore these sad, sorry excuses for Americans we cannot, because they are continuing to spread lies, and misinformation, that is affecting how certain people view the world. Which allows them to be frightened into supporting unfit candidates for public office who are the ones that REALLY put our country, and the future for our children, in danger.

Who wants to bet that Palin-bots are among the most dedicated viewers of this show?

Okay let me start off by apologizing for posting this, as it may in fact be the DUMBEST fifteen minutes you will EVER spend. However I felt it was important for you to see just exactly what happens when somebody allows a group of homophobic, anti-Muslim, paint chip eaters to have their own program.

I have been burned by the stupid before, but THIS stupid burns like nothing I have ever experienced before.  THIS, by the way, is just an example of the kinds of geniuses currently pulling the strings of the Republican party.

Teabaggers going out of their way to make sure that people do not compare the Occupy Wall Street protestors with THEIR movement. You know what? Never even crossed my mind!

The tea party isn’t about to make room for the new protesters on the block. 

Big tea party groups have launched an attack against the Occupy Wall Street protests, challenging the line that the anti-corporate uprising is the “the tea party of the left.” 

Tea partiers and their allies are looking to de-legitimize the protests circulating in the anti-Wall Street crowds, hunting for evidence of union ties, fringe rhetoric and bad behavior — ranging from news of arrests, to recordings of incendiary speeches, to tales of littering, drug use and debauchery. 

“The left is trying to create a counter force to the tea party, but it’s almost laughable that anyone is comparing the two, because they’re totally different,” said Sal Russo, chief strategist for the Tea Party Express. 

Now here is where I would usually rip the Teabaggers apart and demonstrate that they were a Koch brothers funded astro-turf group driven by latent racism and overwhelming stupidity, while the Occupy Wall Street protestors are an eclectic group of true Americans who are angry at the real cause of our financial problems in this country, banks and corporations run amok.

However thankfully I do not have to spend all of those minutes typing, because past SNL performer, and current ditzy Christian Teabagger wingnut Victoria Jackson, has done the heavy lifting for me.

Now before you watch this video I want to warn you that the stupid is almost too much to take, but fortunately Jackson talks to an actual Occupy Wall Street protestor at about the 4:20 who brings a much needed dose of sanity to this bizarre attempt to undermine the movement. (Apparently Jackson posted this video believing she had shown the OWS protestors at their worst. In the immortal words of my daughter, "EPIC FAIL!")

P.S. I also need to warn you that studies (I have just made up right here on the spot) have shown that prolonged exposure to Victoria Jachson's voice can sterilize small house pets at fifty yards, so you might want to put your cats, small dogs, and gerbils in another room before hitting play. We at IM are animal lovers.
