A Russian lawyer who was a witness in a US federal court case connected to the largest money-laundering scheme in Russian history was hospitalized in critical condition after plunging four stories on Tuesday in Moscow, a spokesman said.
There are conflicting reports about what happened to the lawyer, Nikolai Gorokhov. His spokesman, William Browder — who was an alleged victim in the money-laundering scheme — says he was “thrown from the fourth floor of his apartment building.” Russian media, often controlled by the state, says he “fell while he and workers were trying to lift a Jacuzzi into his apartment.”
“His name is redacted in all the documents,” Browder told BuzzFeed News regarding court filings in the US Southern District. “The feds were very concerned for his safety. I can confirm his role.” The Department of Justice didn’t immediately return a request for comment.
The case, USA v. Prevezon, is on the brink of going to trial in Manhattan — right in the middle of a massive shakeup of federal prosecutors by President Trump.
Gee, what another coinky dink.
Do you want another one?
The bank that lent Donald Trump 300 million dollars is also implicated in this money laundering scheme.
Boy the coincidences just keep piling up don't they?
Just like the bodies.

Ammosexual shoots 17 year old girl after she confronts him about driving his riding lawnmower over her property.
Courtesy of the Times Colonist:
A northern Minnesota man was charged Wednesday with shooting a 17-year-old girl several times after authorities say she told him not to ride his lawn mower through her yard.
Chad Pickering, 40, of Bemidji appeared in Beltrami County court on a felony charge of attempted first-degree murder. Bail was set at $300,000.
Pickering shot the teen three times as she stood on the deck of her home Monday night, the criminal complaint said. The teen was shot in her chest, right thigh and left ankle. She was taken to a Duluth hospital.
Police found .45 shells by a tree on the young woman's property, and when police searched his home and found a .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol hidden in an air vent, Pickering claimed that he had not seen in in a week or so.
The police then pointed out a grass stain on Pickering's knee, and his excuse for that was equally lame.
Finally.....
When authorities pointed out inconsistencies in his statement, Pickering said he had taken his children for a ride with the mower and that after he returned home a girl came to the front door and confronted him about trespassing, the complaint said. Pickering told investigators he went to her house, knelt by a pine tree and shot her twice after she came out the front door, according to the complaint.
To be clear this 40 year old man went to the house of a teenaged girl, shot her three times, and lied to the police about what he had done, all becasue she asked him to stop driving his lawnmower through her yard.
And that my friends is how the 2nd Amendment keeps us safe.

A man dressed as Rambo walks into a bar.....stop me if you've heard this one.
Courtesy of New York Daily News:
A Florida action anti-hero armed with a gun and knives entered a bar dressed like Rambo and opened fire, but two patrons subdued him before he fully reenacted the character’s films.
Daniel Allen Noble, 37, was seen drinking calmly at the Europa Lounge & Bistro in Palm Coast Saturday when he left and returned at 11:25 p.m. dressed like Rambo — complete with an Uzi-style rifle and two large hunting knives at his sides, the Flagler County Sheriff's Department said.
The action hero wannabe began challenging people in the bar when two customers stopped him. Vassili Mironov, 28, and Roman Dubinsechi, 23 both of Palm Coast, grabbed the barrel of the gun, pointing it to the ground where it went off once or twice, police said.
No one was injured from the shooting, police said.
Noble then grabbed a knife and started to fight with the two men, who were able to knock the anti-hero unconscious. He was transported to the hospital where he was released after treatment of minor injuries.
Seriously who did not see something like this happening eventually?
Essentially all of this assault carrying, action movie dipsits believe in their hearts that they ARE Rambo, and are just waiting for somebody to give them a reason to unload all of their hate, anger, and insecurities through the barrel of a gun so that they can feel like heroes.
This guy just had reality arrive. wake him up form his fantasy, and slap the shit out of him.
Multiple times I would guess from his mugshot.

Okay once again, WHY do we need to allow the sale of assault weapons in this country?
(Warning video contains graphic violence and death.)
Courtesy of the Daily Mail:
Local police told reporters on Friday that they still have no clue why James Gilkerson fired 37 shots at two officers using an AK-47 style assault rifle after the officers pulled him over on March 10, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reported.
‘He got of the vehicle, intending to kill my officers. We don't know why he did it,’ said Middlefield Police Chief Arnold Stanko.
The two officers, Erin Thomas and Brandon Savage, returned fire and killed Gilkerson, 42, piercing him with multiple shots.
In the video, Gilkerson can be seen jumping out of his car, which had been pulled over for failing to stop at an intersection, according to the News-Herald, and opening fire on Thomas and Savage.
The two officers involved manage to survive, though the the female officer, Erin Thomas, lost one of her fingers.
So the argument can be made that the man could just as easily have opened fire at the officers with ANY weapon, and that is indeed correct. However just one look at the incredible barrage of bullets that were fired in such a rapid manner, should give ANYBODY pause as to the logic of allowing those kinds of weapons to be purchased by any Tom, Dick, and Harry who wants to own one.
As of right now it seems to be undetermined if the assailant, James Gilkerson, obtained his weapons legally or not, but I would contend that it is really beside the point, since it is the availability of these weapons of murder in this country that makes them much too easy to obtain, in any number of different ways.
No police officer conducting a simple traffic stop should have to worry about facing anything like this in this country. America is no longer the wild west, despite what movies and television may lead us to believe.

Christian academy student shoots both of his parents in the head after one of them tells him that he was "meeting the definition of insanity." Gee, ya think?
Courtesy of Raw Story:
A 14-year-old student at a Christian academy in Washington state has been charged with attempted murder for allegedly shooting both of his parents in the head after they restricted him from playing violent video games.
Grant County prosecutors on Monday said that they were asking that 14-year-old Nathan Brooks be tried as an adult for the attempted murder of his parents.
According to a Moses Lake police report obtained by iFIBER One News, Nathon Brooks had considered killing his parents, 38-year-old Jonathan Brooks and 39-year-old Elizabeth Brooks, since the age of 8. He had recently been been grounded for two weeks from using “electronic devices” — including playing video games — and had been punished with detention for being late to class.
Nathon Brooks had admitted to police that he had been obsessed with video games.
“He said he quit playing violent video games because he thought they were making him more violent,” Moses Lake police Sgt. Mike Williams noted in the document. “I asked him how much he played video games, and he told me ‘24/7,’ up until he got his electronics taken away.”
Nathon Brooks indicated that he had decided to shoot his parents after his mother told his he was “meeting the definition of insanity” by disobeying over and over again. He said that his parents had been angry after he recently took one of their credit cards.
On Friday, Police believe the boy pried open a gun safe to retrieve a .22 caliber pistol. After listening to music for about 90 minutes, he decided to kill his parents.
First thing I would point out concerning this story, and as somebody who has worked with the mentally ill for years, is that if you are living with somebody who is "meeting the definition of insanity" the LAST thing you do is tell them that.
You get them help.
Another thing, While it may be a knee jerk reaction in this case to blame this on the video games, if this young man has been considering murdering his parents since age 8, that he has a deep seated mental illness that may have been exacerbated by the games, it may also have served as a pressure relief valve which provided an outlet for this young man's extreme emotions.
After all he did not act on his fantasies of killing his parents, until he no longer had access to the games,
All in all it sounds like these parents did EVERYTHING wrong in this scenario. I am sure that putting him in the Christian Academy was because they believed that this young man needed some Jesus in his life to correct his behaviors, when in fact he needed a psychological evaluation and access to mental health supports.
It appears that the ONLY saving grace here was that the caliber of weapon used spared the life of his parents. If he had an assault weapon or a higher caliber handgun he would have successfully murdered his parents, and likely be locked away for the rest of his life.
It looks like there are any number of handy places to lay the blame in this scenario. There is mental illness, violent video games, poor parenting, and access to guns. And it seems like all of them could share equal blame here.
However I must point out that the boy did not bash his parents in the head with a shovel, or stab them in their sleep. Instead he went through all of the trouble of prying open the, clearly poorly constructed, safe to get the gun, because the gun represented power, and he needed to feel powerful in order to kill his parents.
Essentially this was a catastrophe waiting to happen, but the trigger that made it a reality was access to a weapon whose sole function is to end human lives.

Is this the typical Fox News viewer?
Courtesy of Business Insider:
After allegedly driving recklessly with his girlfriend in the car and laughing about killing her, a Florida man told sheriff's deputies his political beliefs made him do it.
David Kappheim, 60, told Palm Beach County Sheriff's deputies “he was very conservative and (his girlfriend) was a liberal" so he "felt that he was going to have to kill her,” The Palm Beach Post reported Thursday.
Kappheim's arrest came after his girlfriend told police he had threatened or harmed her on a number of occasions.
Kappheim admitted to trying to kill the woman three times, police said.
Deputies said they found documents inside the woman's apartment indicating Kappheim is "obsessed with Fox News and the Republican Party, and that he may be a danger to others," the Post reported.
To answer my own headline I would say that NO this is certainly not the typical Fox News viewer But that is most likely due to the fact that the TYPICAL Fox News viewer is too damn old to pull off something like this without the help of their nurse.
However let me also add that on the few occasions I have watched Fox News, mostly to cover a Sarah Palin interview, I have certainly felt the urge to kill somebody. Fortunately I am too intelligent, and allergic to prison, to ever act upon those urges.
I will also add that if you think the Fox News viewers are crazy and murderous NOW, just wait until President Obama wins his second term. THAT will drive these lunatics right over the edge!
P.S. Can I just ask WHY an intelligent liberal woman would waste her time dating somebody ignorant enough to watch Fox News and BELIEVE what they were hearing? I find that baffling.
