Self described conservative and 2nd Amendment advocate uses gun to kill his own children.

Courtesy of The Charlotte Observer:

Shawn Fuller admitted to shooting his young boys and said he was prepared to kill law enforcement officers, according to a report released Monday by the Iredell County Sheriff’s Department.

Fuller was on the phone with an unidentified person when he made the confession, the report said.

But by the time deputies arrived at Fuller’s home in the 100 block of Trent Road in Statesville, a confrontation was no longer a threat. Fuller was already critically injured with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Deputies found him outside his front door. They also found a weapon that had been hidden in the house by Fuller’s wife and likely was used to fire on his sons, according to the report.

The bodies of Uriah Fuller, 4, and his brother Josiah Fuller, 3, lay inside the house. They suffered multiple gunshot wounds, Sheriff Darren Campbell said in Monday’s report. Fuller is in critical condition at Carolinas Medical Center.

Fuller was intoxicated, no surprise there, and had turned his backyard into a half assed shooting range where he and his buddies shot at trees, milk jugs, cans, and probably anything else they could find.

Addicting Info located Fuller's Facebook page, and it was no surprise that he was a die hard conservative and defender of the 2nd Amendment:

I think that last one is the one that drives home the real point about owning guns.

People buy them after convincing themselves that they need them to protect their family, but aside from a handful of incidents where somebody scares off a robber or shoots a home invader, the majority of shootings are directed at friends, family, or even at themselves.

Guns are not designed to protect. They are designed to kill.

And in this case they did just that, and took the lives of two small, helpless children.

Alabama Congressional candidate uses his gun collection to literally shoot holes in the Affordable Care Act. Sooo manly.

Courtesy of TPM:

It's a match made in heaven: An Alabama congressional candidate has a new campaign video in which he literally shoots holes in the Affordable Care Act.

The Daily Caller first reported on the new video from Will Brooke, a business executive who is running in the GOP primary to replace Rep. Spencer Bachus (R-AL).

"We're down here to have a little fun and talk about two serious subjects," Brooke says. "The Second Amendment and see how much damage we can do to this copy of Obamacare."

Then the Teabagger shoots his load at the bill and the result in less than impressive.

Probably not for the first time in his life either.

Of course this is the kind of ad that is going to stimulate Tea party nipples all over the country. In fact I am amazed that Sarah Palin has not already endorsed him on her Facebook page.

"Doomsday Prepper," and convicted pedophile, gets arrested after appearance on National Geographic channel, because you are really not supposed to have weapons if you are an ex-con.

Courtesy of Raw Story:

Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Washington state man who was shown firing two rifles on the “Doomsday Prepper” reality show.

In the November episode of the National Geographic Channel program, Tyler Smith – a convicted felon who’s barred from owning guns — describes his plans to commit armed robbery and shots firearms on his property in Buckley.

“His stated plan was not to defend himself but to use weapons he illegally possessed, to rob his neighbors at gunpoint,” said Pierce County Sheriff Paul Pastor in a statement. “Did he really think that this wouldn’t attract our attention?”

The 26-year-old Smith was arrested Wednesday and charged with two counts of second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm.

He was previously convicted of theft and a gross misdemeanor for communicating with a minor for immoral purposes.

Ever hear of a background check National Geographic?

And you know it has always been my suspicion that these Doomsday Prepper assholes are less concerned with keeping themselves safe, and more concerned with having the firepower to take from others whatever they want once the government and law enforcement structure crumbles around them.

Essentially they are itching to bully and harass their neighbors once there is no way that they can be  held accountable. They are not afraid of the end of civilization, they are looking forward to it.

Fortunately for us that is as unlikely to happen as for this guy to receive an invitation in the mail to join Mensa.

Crazy Pennsylvania Police Chief to remain on suspension without pay "indefinitely."

Courtesy of Raw Story:

The Pennsylvania police chief who attracted attention for his profanity-laden videos featuring him cursing local and federal officials while wielding firearms agreed on Friday to extend his suspension without pay indefinitely until his lawyer can meet with his local city council.

The Patriot-News reported on Friday that the Gilberton City Council voted unanimously to keep Mark Kessler on suspension for “using borough property for non-borough purposes without prior borough permission” until they can meet with his attorney, Joseph Nahas, citing a scheduling conflict for scuttling a planned Aug. 30 meeting.

Kessler told the Los Angeles Times his videos — which include him shooting at pictures he identified as House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Secretary of State John Kerry — constitute peaceful political speech.

But while he has attracted supporters, at least one activist group, Keystone Progress, told the Times it had collected more than 23,000 signatures on a petition calling for him to be fired, saying Kessler’s supporters may retaliate with violence if the council moves to oust him.

“You can’t have a police chief that intimidates at least half of the population,” Keystone Progress executive director Michael Morrill said to the Times.

This guy is clearly dangerously unhinged and I would have to imagine that by this point he is simply unemployable as an officer of the law.

Pennsylvania would be opening themselves up to a never ending string of lawsuits if they were to reinstate this lunatic especially if he were to use excessive force making an arrest or if somebody ends up dead.

However apparently Kessler is  using his own private militia to hold the town hostage and intimidate them into being terrified to defy him:

Due to mounting tensions and no doubt, concerns over increasing threats of violence from Kessler and his armed political faction, only a small number of residents were given the chance to speak during the meeting.

Of those who did speak, however, many said that they themselves, or members of their families, are living in fear of Kessler and his militia. Others who were allowed to speak referred to Kessler as a “nut,” a liability and a detriment to the small community. Many who wanted to speak were prevented from doing so, either because they were blocked from entering the building or because they were too afraid of retaliation to come forward.

This CANNOT be allowed to go on. If we can use force to stop Bashar al-Assad from killing his own people in Syria surely we can send the Feds to step on this little cockroach.

After all does THIS seem like an individual who should be allowed to be a law enforcement professional?

Yeah, I don't think so.

AR-15 accidentally discharges, causing room full of ammunition to explode, killing father and his 12 year old son.

Courtesy of Raw Story:

Officials in Tennessee say that a father and his 12-year-old son died over the weekend after an AR-15 assault-style rifle accidentally discharged, causing a fire and then a series of explosions in a room full of ammunition.

WBBJ-TV reported on Monday that Tennessee State Bomb and Arson Investigators, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and Henderson County Sheriff’s Department were all looking into the Sunday deaths 48-year-old Terry York and his son, Luke.

According to family members, York’s AR-15 rifle accidentally discharged while he was in a back room of their home showing it off to some friends. The discharge ignited a small fire, which “did not seem too threatening at first,” they told WBBJ-TV. The blaze apparently grew out of control after Luke entered the room to help his father put out fire.

That’s when witnesses started hearing explosions.

“It was just like one right after another,” neighbor Kathleen Glass recalled. “One explosion right after another. I just don’t have the words for it because I can not imagine having to go through something like this.”

The family said that York stored a lot of ammunition in the room where the fire started, but officials insisted that they would conduct a full investigation before coming to any conclusions.

Usually I would say that this man had this coming to him for being so incredibly reckless, but the boy did not deserve to lose his life due to his father's ignorance.

A whole house full of guns and ammunition and  rather than keep them safe, it ultimately ended their life.

How many times have we seen that same scenario play itself out?

Officials want inventory of weapons purchased by police chief /YouTube gun fetishist and to have him take down any references which connect him to the Gilberton Police Department on the internet. Update!

Courtesy of The Morning Call:

Gilberton officials want an inventory of embattled police Chief Mark Kessler's firearms registered in the borough's name.

And they want Kessler, who was suspended last week over his profane, pro-gun YouTube videos, to scrub the Internet of any reference to his employment as Gilberton's police chief.

In a letter to Kessler through his lawyer last week, Gilberton Solicitor Karen L. Domalakes said officials have been made aware that Kessler purchased many guns in the name of the borough police department.

"At this time we are requesting an inventory of the weapons currently registered in the name of the Borough of Gilberton Police Department. We also need to know the location of these guns," Domalakes said in the letter dated Thursday.

The letter notes that at the meeting Wednesday where Gilberton council suspended Kessler without pay for 30 days, it also passed a policy barring borough employees from using their affiliation in any public statement, video or document without council's permission.

"We are advising that Chief Kessler should remove any reference to his employment with the Borough of Gilberton from his 'YouTube' posts, 'Facebook' posts and other Internet statements," Domalakes said.

Kessler's lawyer, Joseph P. Nahas of Frackville, Pa., did not immediately return a phone call Monday afternoon.

You know we all wondered how this lunatic's employer would react to seeing that video Kessler put up. And now we know.

Like I said before the more of these guys who want to go publicly with their adoration of guns and fear that the government is coming to take them away, the better it is for those of us who want to limit the number of guns sold in this country and who want to make sure that those who DO purchase them are mentally stable individuals who will only use then safely.

This guy, and many others, are not doing their cause any favors, but there is certainly no way I am going to try to stop them from having their say.

Update: Just when you thought this story of Police Chief Mark Kessler could not get any more bizarre, there's this:

Gilberton, Pennsylvania is a small borough which is currently living under the constant threat of terroristic violence. Armed men block the entrance to public meetings. Public officials openly threaten every member of society who holds a different political view than they do, and councilmen are strip searched and arrested without cause if they don’t fall in line with prevailing opinions.

Anyone who tries to fire the Police Chief is be forced to live in fear of retaliation from a militia of armed terrorists. Pennsylvania police chief Mark Kessler is the head of a political organization which refers to itself as “The Constitution Security Force.“ Kessler was recently given a thirty day suspension, for using police property as props in a video where he threatens and insults “libtards,” otherwise known as people who hold political views which differ from his own.

Apparently this is a town where the idea of a militia rising up to confront authority then taking over the town is not only a threat, but something that has been a reality for a number of years now.

I would assume that the Feds are aware of this and are considering how to respond, but taking into account the mood of a certain segment of the population right now anything they do may be the spark that lights a fuse under the next great civil war in this country.

“People who hate Ted Nugent hate freedom." So sayeth Ted Nugent. Sounds legit.

Yesterday Captain Poopy-pants gave an interview to Maine radio station WGAN.

Here is just a sampling of the ensuing lunacy:

Rocker Ted Nugent launched a volley of invective at local protesters and the New Haven Register during an interview Saturday with a Maine radio station.

Anyone anticipating some wild remarks from the Motor City Madman was not disappointed by his interview on WGAN.

Nugent’s planned Tuesday concert at Toad’s Place in New Haven has drawn protests from area residents who took issue with Nugent’s recent comments on race in America. There has been a petition drive calling for the cancellation of the show, and protests are expected outside Toad’s during the show.

In the radio station interview, Nugent alluded to New Haven Register editorial writers and their supporters as “subhuman numb-nuts.” A recent Register editorial denounced Nugent’s statements on race and called for Toad’s to cancel the show.

When asked about the “idiots” in Connecticut who think he “shouldn’t play rock and roll,” Nugent told the conservative host: “You and I stand on the line of reason” and must not be silenced.

“People who hate Ted Nugent hate freedom,” he said, and promised to continue to speak what he sees as the truth.

But wait, there's more:

Of the Trayvon Martin case, Nugent said, “Trayvon got justice.” He went on to say that Martin was a “gangsta wannabe” who had a “bloodthirst,” as evidenced by the fact that he was supposedly eager to “get into fights with people.”

You know just when you think you cannot despise another human being more than you already do.

What a piece of human garbage! I hope that everybody in New Haven boycotts this racist, treasonous bastard's show, and that the only people who show up are protestors waiting for the opportunity to spit on him.

Ted Nugent seriously considering a run for President in 2016. That sound you hear is late night comics all over the country having synchronized orgasms.

Courtesy of the Detroit News:

Rock singer and gun-rights advocate Ted Nugent says he is seriously considering a run for president in 2016.

The part-time Michigan resident makes the revelation in a lengthy Washington Post profile in which he also claims to be toying with a potential campaign slogan: “Hi, I’m Ted Nugent. I have nine children from seven women, and I’m running for president.”

Nugent, also known as the Motor City Madman, has previously considered running for governor of Michigan, but decided against it. He has a hunting ranch in Jackson County and a cabin in Lake County, but his full-time residence is in Texas near Waco.

“He’s talked about it before,” wife Shemane told the Post about a presidential campaign. “But this time he seems more serious. People are constantly asking him to run.”

Please, PLEASE, let this happen!

I have been so good I totally deserve this!

And if I may might I make a suggestion?

Nugent/Palin 2016

They could run on the batshit crazy ticket. I have never wanted anything more in my whole life.

2nd Amendment blowhard in trouble with the authorities once again for making more terrorist threats on YouTube.

Courtesy of Raw Story:

U.S. Park Police and Washington, D.C. Police are investigating a video posted by gun rights activist Adam Kokesh in which the former U.S. Marine and Iraq veteran is seen loading shells into a pump-action shotgun and promising a “final American Revolution” by “next Independence Day.” According to Talking Points Memo, the video was posted Thursday to Kokesh’s YouTube account.

The clip, called “Open Carry March on DC a Success,” showed Kokesh standing in a black “Goodfellas”-style jacket and no tie in what appears to be Washington, D.C.’s Freedom Plaza, where carrying a loaded firearm is illegal. “We will not be silent,” Kokesh said, looking slightly wild-eyed and punctuating each phrase with another shell loaded into the gun’s chamber.

“We will not obey. We will not allow our government to destroy our humanity. We are the final American Revolution. See you next Independence Day.”

Kokesh, a Ron Paul 2012 supporter and 9/11 “truther” was forced to call off a planned armed march on Washington in May of this year. He and other gun rights activists planned to march across the Memorial Bridge from Virginia into Washington, D.C. carrying weapons that are against the law in the nation’s capitol.

You guys remember this Kokesh guy right?

He was the moron who encouraged his radio listeners to march on Washington D.C. with loaded rifles slung across their shoulders, and then later backed out when he realized he might actually get shot or arrested.

Just WHO in the hell would be impressed with that dramatic cocking of the shotgun?  It looks like somebody has been watching too many Steven Seagal movies.

I am guessing that if he has any following at all it is made up of twelve year old boys.

I know we make a lot of jokes about gun nuts and their penis size, but I swear I have never seen a more obvious case of over compensation in my life.

Just in case you missed it here is MSNBC's Luke Russert trying to get a coherent interview out of Ted "Poopy-pants" Nugent after the SOTU speech last night.

Courtesy of MSNBC:

When asked what it was like sitting in the chamber alongside victims of gun violence, Nugent launched into a confusing rant about “engineered recidivism” and the mental health system.

“Our mental health system has failed so thoroughly that people who have threatened lives and conduct themselves in dangerous abhorrent behavior,” he said. “And have been alerted, the officials have been alerted by co-workers, fellow students, mothers and fathers of these mass murderers.”

He took on the president too, criticizing his “predicable, flowery, feel good, save the children, end world hunger insanity.”

“And then I see him either do nothing, or do the opposite,” he said. “I feel horrible that we’re going after my guns, instead of stopping crime and dangerous behavior.”

When challenged by NBC news reporter Luke Russert over comments he made last year, comparing Democrats like Obama, Joe Biden, and Hillary Clinton to coyotes who deserve to be shot, Nugent became agitated, cursing at Russert and calling him a liar in vulgar terms.

And THIS is the sorry excuse for a human being that  Rep. Stockman believed was an appropriate choice to bring to the Sate of the Union address? I think that says about all we need to know about Steve Stockman.

By the way my admiration for Luke Russert just went through the roof. He did a great job of trying to get something reasonable out of this bullshit spewing ass clown.

Perfect spokesman for the NRA however. They should definitely keep him in the forefront.

A final bit of good news before, calling it a night.

Courtesy of Nashville's News Channel 5:

Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security has suspended the handgun carry permit of a local man who threatened to "start killing people" to protect his Second Amendment right.

In a statement released Friday officials said they had suspended the handgun carry permit of James Yeager, CEO of Tactical Response based on "material likelihood of risk of harm to the public".

Gee ya think?

I have to say that I hope they come down hard on ALL of these nutjobs and send a clear message that if you start talking about killing American citizens, or arming yourself in preparation for overthrowing the government, that your 2nd Amendment rights are suspended until you grow the fuck up!

NRA Vice President Wayne LaPierre literally froths at the mouth while raging against the possiblity of more gun control.

Wayne LaPierre frothing at the mouth during argument over gun control.
I just finished watching LaPierre's performance on MTP and it was just as insane as that little speech he gave on Friday.

Essentially LaPierre REFUSED to even consider the idea of restricting guns in any way, and kept pimping the idea of putting a police officer in EVERY SINGLE school in America. And as he kept hammering home his point the froth on his mouth just grew and grew until I really began to believe David Gregory was in danger of being bitten.

Here is the clip so you can see for yourself that I am not exaggerating:

Let's end the day on a high note. Crazed pro-gun nut Ted Nugent will NOT be returning to the Discovery Channel.

Courtesy of Raw Story:

In addition to cancelling its popular “American Guns” reality show, The Discovery Channel confirmed to Raw Story on Tuesday that firearms enthusiast Ted Nugent will also not be returning to the channel in any form or fashion.

Speaking to Raw Story in remarks specified as “not for attribution,” a spokesperson admitted that “Ted Nugent’s Gun Country” didn’t do very well when it aired in October, even with fellow firearms fashionistas. Nielsen Ratings placed the viewership at about 864,000 people in all. But the network’s decision is not just about the numbers.

After Friday’s devastating massacre at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, the spokesperson said that Nugent would definitely not be returning to the Discovery Channel.

“‘American Guns’ concluded earlier this year,” the network’s prepared statement explains. “Discovery Channel chose not to renew the series and has no plans to air repeats of the show.”

Although the Discovery Channel’s statement did not directly link the cancellation of “American Guns” to Friday’s massacre, the channel’s spokesperson did say the tragedy “has really started something,” but didn’t specify what that something may be.

Nugent’s spokesperson did not respond to a request for comment.

You know sometimes it is really hard to remain a skeptic when the karmic justice smells this sweet.
