Leaked email confirms that Trump Modeling agency is closing its doors. Gee, I wonder why?

One of President Donald Trump's favorite businesses will go the way of Trump Steaks, Trump University, Trump Airlines, and Trump Magazine: his embattled New York modeling firm, Trump Model Management, has officially told its business associates around the world to prepare for its closure, according to an email obtained by Mother Jones. 

Over the weekend, Corinne Nicolas, president of Trump Models, informed industry colleagues of the pending closure of the 18-year-old agency, in which Trump owns an 85 percent stake (according to his most recent financial disclosure). "The Trump Organization is choosing to exit the modeling industry," Nicolas wrote in the email. "On the heels of the recent sale of the Miss Universe Organization, the company is choosing to focus on their core businesses in the real estate, golf and hospitality space." (The Trump Organization sold the Miss Universe Organization, which also runs the Miss USA beauty pageant, to the talent agency WME-IMG about 18 months ago, following a controversy over then-candidate Trump's remarks about Mexican immigrants.) 

Mother Jones reported last week that the firm was on the brink of collapse, and the New York Post confirmed on Friday that Trump's agency was indeed shutting down.

You may remember that the Trump Modeling agency had recently been in hot water when it was revealed that some of the models did not have valid visas to be working in this country, and that the agency ripped them off and treated them more like livestock than human beings.

One has to wonder if there were even that many booking agents interested in hiring a model associated with Donald Trump these days?

My guess is that there is not.

Melania Trump had ten paid modeling gigs in the United States before she was legally able to work here. Oops.

Melania Trump was paid for 10 modeling jobs in the United States worth $20,056 that occurred in the seven weeks before she had legal permission to work in the country, according to detailed accounting ledgers, contracts and related documents from 20 years ago provided to The Associated Press.

Mrs. Trump, who received a green card in March 2001 and became a U.S. citizen in 2006, has always maintained that she arrived in the country legally and never violated the terms of her immigration status. During the presidential campaign, she has cited her story to defend her husband's hard line on immigration. 

The wife of the GOP presidential nominee, who sometimes worked as a model under just her first name, has said through an attorney that she first came to the U.S. from Slovenia on Aug. 27, 1996, on a B1/B2 visitor visa and then obtained an H-1B work visa on Oct. 18, 1996. 

The documents obtained by the AP show she was paid for 10 modeling assignments between Sept. 10 and Oct. 15, during a time when her visa allowed her generally to be in the U.S. and look for work but not perform paid work in the country. The documents examined by the AP indicate that the modeling assignments would have been outside the bounds of her visa.

So to be clear the guy who made it a central theme of his campaign to keep illegal immigrants from taking American jobs, is married to an immigrant who illegally stole jobs from hard working American women.

Gee I wonder what kind of fence he could have built to keep that from happening?

What was it that a reporter said after Melania gave that speech the other day?

Oh right, " Melania embodies the way this campaign’s non-stop lunacy has ruined irony forever."

So true. 

Donald Trump hates undocumented immigrants. Unless they are hot women working for his modeling agency.

Republican nominee Donald Trump has placed immigration at the core of his presidential campaign. He has claimed that undocumented immigrants are "taking our jobs" and "taking our money," pledged to deport them en masse, and vowed to build a wall on the Mexican border. At one point he demanded a ban on Muslims entering the country. Speaking to supporters in Iowa on Saturday, Trump said he would crack down on visitors to the United States who overstay their visas and declared that when any American citizen "loses their job to an illegal immigrant, the rights of that American citizen have been violated." And he is scheduled to give a major address on immigration in Arizona on Wednesday night. 

But the mogul's New York modeling agency, Trump Model Management, has profited from using foreign models who came to the United States on tourist visas that did not permit them to work here, according to three former Trump models, all noncitizens, who shared their stories with Mother Jones. Financial and immigration records included in a recent lawsuit filed by a fourth former Trump model show that she, too, worked for Trump's agency in the United States without a proper visa. 

Founded in 1999, Trump Model Management "has risen to the top of the fashion market," boasts the Trump Organization's website, and has a name "that symbolizes success." According to a financial disclosure filed by his campaign in May, Donald Trump earned nearly $2 million from the company, in which he holds an 85 percent stake. Meanwhile, some former Trump models say they barely made any money working for the agency because of the high fees for rent and other expenses that were charged by the company.

The Trump modeling agency also encouraged the girls to lie about their immigration status if asked and once of the former models said this: "Honestly, they are the most crooked agency I've ever worked for, and I've worked for quite a few."

Some of these models were as young as 14 years old and they were warehoused in small dormitory style apartments for which they were overcharged.  There were other fees requested of the young ladies and after they were paid it left virtually no money left over.

Gee another Trump scandal? It must be Wednesday.

So Donald Trump's wife got green card married before meeting Donald Trump? Maybe.

In an interview with Larry King Live in 2005 Melania Trump said that she had never been married before meeting Donald Trump. 

But, Michael Wildes, an immigration attorney who worked for the Trump Organization, told Univision's investigative unit that she obtained a green card four years earlier in 2001, “based on marriage.” 

Melania and Donald Trump were not married until Jan. 22, 2005 at Bethesda-by-the Sea Episcopal Church in Palm Beach, Florida. 

When asked to explain the marriage discrepancy, Wildes said he would seek clarification, presumably from the Trump Organization. He later sent an email saying “I didn’t hear back, sorry.” 

Wildes said he acted “on behalf of Trump models” and handled legal work to obtian visas and green cards for Miss Universe when Trump owned the pageant. He told Univision that he had been authorized by the Trump Organization “to speak on the matters concerning Melania.” 

He said he could not comment on how the Melania Trump became a U.S. permanent resident. 

“Ms. Trump received citizenship in 2006 and prior to that she had a green card based on marriage,” he said in a recorded interview by phone. “Before that, she had a work visa and was in full compliance on her visas and never disrespected any of them. That has been made clear to me.” 

Wildes later clarified that legal privacy issues meant he could not discuss her status. “There are certain parts of the process that remain private. The immigration authorities don’t discuss this nor should we,” he said.

How convenient.

Apparently the Trump campaign is already pushing back on this story.

Of course that in no way means it is inaccurate as we have seen Trump do the same thing with virtually EVERY negative, yet factually based, story that has come out about him, his campaign, or his family.

And being married before really should make no difference, especially considering Trump's history with marriage.

However since the official Melania Trump biography claimed that she was only married one time to Donald Trump, and the campaign is pushing back against this story, that makes it newsworthy.

You know I cannot help but notice that virtually ANY of these scandals would have destroyed the campaign of any other politician, yet for reasons that completely escape me the Trump train keeps right on chugging away.

The New York Post finds those lost nudes of Melania Trump.

Decades before she was sporting designer dresses on the stage of the Republican National Convention as Mrs. Trump, Melania Knauss posed nude in a photo spread for a now-defunct French men’s magazine, The Post has learned. 

The leggy, Slovenian-born model — then 25 years old and known by her professional moniker Melania K. — did the steamy photo session in Manhattan in 1995, according to Alé de Basse­ville, the French photographer who shot the sexy snaps. 

The images, some rarely seen and others never published, were obtained exclusively by The Post. 

The bombshell photos show Melania wearing nothing but high heels and pouting for the camera, in a series of images shot from the front, the back and the side.

To be honest I really don't care that Melania Trump once posed nude. I am not offended by nudity.

Besides, full disclosure, there exists in the world nudes of yours truly from a handful of days modeling for a photography class while I was attending college in Hawaii. 

I am not only not ashamed of them, I really wish I could locate them because I looked GOOD.

However having said that we have NEVER had a First Lady whose exposed breasts we have had the opportunity to ogle, and I wonder if America is actually ready for something like that.

Though it should be noted that with all of the overwhelming evidence we have which demonstrates that Donald Trump is not fit to lead this country, his current wife's past modeling career really should not be the deciding factor.

Levi Johnston is stripping down again for Playgirl. The 25-year-old Alaskan is in talks with the magazine to do another photo shoot to help with his legal bills reports Rob Shuter of naughtygossip.com. But this time they are insisting that Johnston do full-frontal. 

(Johnston racked up legal bills securing joint custody of his 7-year-old son Tripp with ex-fiance Bristol Palin). 

“Levi has an opportunity now that he was won the custody case with his son to show how hot daddies can be”, a Playgirl rep told Naughty Gossip, “we’re currently in New Orleans doing a Daddy model search.”

Levi's wife Sunny just posted this on her Facebook page:

Shouldn't Fox News have to have conformation about something so personal in someone's life? Or are they a tabloid now and just write about anything? Levi has not spoke to Playgirl about doing another issue but the part that he spent 7 years and $100,000 in legal fees fighting for his son is very true. I guess he needs to speak up again to clear up some rumors!

Yeah, you would think. Right?

Levi appearing in Playgirl in the first place was the brainchild of Tank Jones, and it was perhaps the first time that I occurred to me that he was trying to destroy Levi's credibility.

And to some degree it worked.

So no, Levi has absolutely NO plans to take it all off for money any time soon.

Gee, I wonder who would have sent out a story like this in an attempt to damage Levi's image?

Hmm, any ideas?

Bristol Palin's exotic model friend wishes the press would spend more time reporting about drugs in schools and our "screwed government" rather than focus on her. I bet.

Actually the most recent edition of the Anchorage Press has several rather diverse articles.

As it turns out you CAN report on a variety of topics and still find time to cover the fact that the abstinence mascot daughter of the one time governor is knocked up out of wedlock again and hanging out with a self identified "exotic" Russian model.

Go figure.

As you guys probably know I receive all sorts of things in my e-mail box or in the comments here at IM.

A lot of the time much of it is not worth pursuing.

However once in awhile you get an interesting little nugget, and a contributor who is pretty determined.

That is what has been happening lately.

Apparently that lady up above, who works with Bristol at Dr. Cusack's office, is also an exotic model.

Now I am liberal so I really don't have an issue with the sex industry or erotic photography (Oh college, I remember you well). However I am also not the daughter of a well known faux Christian ex-politician, whose father has been accused of being a pimp, and who has also lent her name to a blog that pushes a heavy handed Christian agenda.

All of THAT kind of makes THIS worthy of discussion.
