Texas GOP official will shows up to Trump rally accusing him of being a "child rapist." Update!

Travis County Republican Chairman Robert Morrow plans to protest Donald Trump, while the GOP presidential candidate visits Austin on Tuesday, Aug. 23. 

The jester-hat wearing iconoclast has made national headlines for his incendiary criticisms, often laced with vulgarity, against both the Republican and Democratic establishment. 

“Donald Trump’s psychopathy has been on full display on the national political stage for over a year,” said Morrow in a statement. “I want folks to know that Trump is a child rapist and that he is currently being sued in a civil action in NY federal courts for raping, slapping an 13-year-old girl at a Jeffrey Epstein party in 1994. Trump also threatened to murder the girl, now age 35 and a Jane Doe plaintiff, and also murder her family if she ever told how he (Trump) sexually abused her,” Morrow alleges.

By the way this guy is kind of a nut, and his feelings toward Hillary Clinton are not any less extreme.

However the claims he is making here are backed up by actual court filings and accusations made by the women who claim they were the victims of Trump's sexual assaults.

And true or not this is certainly not what one would call "good optics" for the Trump campaign.

My daughter wanted this here.

My daughter would be the first to tell you that there are no excuses allowed.

If you do something stupid that is on you. You cannot blame it on peer pressure, alcohol, or temporary insanity. Those are excuses, not reasons.

If you hurt somebody, who was not trying to hurt you first, then YOU are the problem.

And that means hurting them emotionally as well.

I taught my daughter to be responsible for her actions, and then I taught her to help others be responsible as well. She is the designated driver EVERY TIME her friends go out, she is the voice of reason when others are not thinking clearly, and she is the one that will drop a guy like a wet sack of shit if he inappropriately touches one her friends.

I've seen her do it. In fact I taught her to do it.

And when I taught boys, I taught them to respect women, that no means "hell no," and that a child is a shared responsibility, not just a responsibility for the one with the ovaries.

It is not hard to teach boys to be men, but it helps if you understand that being a man means protecting those who cannot protect themselves, putting the needs of others before your own, and controlling the worst parts of your nature.

If more men approached their job as parent with this in mind there would be far fewer rapists in the world.

What is it with Sarah Palin and rapist/pimps?

A combat war veteran allegedly raped a 14-year-old girl and turned her into a stripper and prostitute. 

Nathan Tatarko, 30, from Fort Worth, Texas, was arrested and charged with human trafficking and sexual assault. 

According to police, Tatarko drove up to the girl outside a local shopping last month and offered her a ride. 

Police Sgt. Pedro Criado said that while the teen willingly got into Tatarko’s car, the 30-year-old took advantage of her by plying the girl with alcohol and having sex with her. 

The Iraq and Afghanistan war veteran then had the girl perform striptease and solicit sex for money until the girl was rescued by police, officials said. 

Tatarko’s Facebook page lists his relationship status as ‘separated.’ However, his MySpace profile, last update in 2009, shows that the 30-year-old was married to a woman named Nicole, who served as a military police officer in his unit. The two have a son and young daughter together. 

‘Together, my wife, my son, and my daughter are the best family a guy like me could ask for,’ Tatarko wrote in his profile. ‘I am truly blessed.’ 

His MySpace page also includes several photographs taken during his Army career, including one of him posing with Sarah Palin at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Germany. 

Funny how a woman who CONSTANTLY accuses anyone who dares to criticize her of being a sexual pervert, and whose daughter claimed the father of her son raped her in a tent, keeps finding herself surrounded by actual sexual deviants and predators, don't you think?

You would almost think that she was living with a pimp, or somebody who took sexual advantage of vulnerable young women, and that it had somehow desensitized her to those that prey on the innocent or weak. Nah!

Things that make you go "Hmmm."

It does not look like Jerry Sandusky is going to have a very easy time of it while in prison. Bummer!

Other prisoners were barred from communicating directly with Sandusky, but they could see him. And when the lights went out, inmates serenaded the disgraced coach with a famous line from Pink Floyd’s “The Wall.” 

“At night, we were singing ‘Hey, teacher, leave those kids alone,’ ” Josh said, adding that everyone knew who Sandusky was because inmates had access to television and newspapers. The jail can hold 349 inmates.

I have to imagine that having a bunch of inmates serenade him is soon going to be the LEAST of Sandusky's problems. Child molesters are often targeted by other inmates and if he is sent into general population I don't think it will turn out well for the 68 year old rapist.

On a somewhat unrelated note guess who has something in common with the Centre County Correctional Facility prisoner? Bristol Palin, that's who!

Apparently according to the Huffington Post, both a note that Sandusky wrote to one of his victims and Bristol's ghostwritten book, share the same 1910 quote from Theodore Roosevelt.

Here is the quote from Sandusky's mash note to victim #4: Teddy Roosevelt -- The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena -- whose face is marked by dust, heat, and blood; who knows the great enthusiasm, the great devotion, and spends himself in a worthy cause; who at best if he wins knows the thrills of high achievement and if he fails at least fails while daring greatly so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who know neither victory or defeat.

Now we all know that Bristol did not actually write her book, and it is even less likely that she chose a 1910 quote from Theodore Roosevelt for her dedication page, but how eery is it that the quote shows up in a letter from a rapist to his victim, as well as in a book that spends a number of its pages accusing an ex-lover of BEING a rapist?

I am not one to read too much into a coincidence, but I have to admit that THIS one made the hairs on the back of my neck stand straight up.

Atheists as distrusted as rapists. WTF?

Atheists are distrusted to roughly the same degree as rapists, according to a new University of British Columbia study exploring distaste for disbelievers. 

The research, led by UBC psychology doctoral student Will Gervais, found distrust to be the central factor motivating antagonism toward atheists among the religious. 

"Where there are religious majorities – that is, in most of the world – atheists are among the least trusted people," Gervais said in a release. 

"With more than half a billion atheists worldwide, this prejudice has the potential to affect a substantial number of people." 

Researchers believe the negative perception of atheists may stem from some people's understanding of morality; a 2002 Pew poll suggests nearly half of Americans believe morality is impossible without belief in god.

For one part of Gervais' six-part study, researchers compared views of atheists, homosexual men and the general population, noting that the first two groups are "often described as threatening to majority religious values and morality." 

Both are explicitly denied membership to the Boy Scouts of America, the study adds.

A sample of 351 Americans between the ages of 18 and 82 were quizzed on their feelings for each group. Sixty-seven per cent or subjects were Christian while 14 per cent said they did not believe in god. 

The results suggested anti-atheist prejudice was characterized by distrust, while anti-gay prejudice was characterized by disgust. 

For another part of the study, 105 UBC students between the ages of 18 and 25 were presented with a description of an untrustworthy person – an "archetypal freerider" who committed selfish and illegal acts when he thought he could get away with it. 

Subjects were more likely to find the description representative of atheists than Christians, Muslims, gay men, feminists or Jewish people. Only rapists were similarly distrusted. 

"People did not significantly differentiate atheists from rapists," the study said. 

You know it is this kind of stuff that really chaps my ass.

The idea that an identified religious affiliation determines that person's morality is demonstrably untrue, and the kind of ridiculous propaganda that certain groups love to cite to make themselves feel special and to justify their illogical belief system.

For instance I don't believe that Muslims are more prone to terrorist acts, that Catholic priests are more prone to pedophilia, or that Fundamentalists are all as batshit crazy as Michele Bachmann and Sarah Palin. (Okay on that last one I have to admit the jury is still out.)

One of my least favorite phrases is, "Oh we can trust him, he is a good Christian man."  That is usually followed, it seems, by the realization that someone has been swindled out of their life savings or the discovery of some dead bodies in the woods.  Trusting ANYBODY based on their proclaimed religious affiliation is a sure sign of severe mental impairment in my opinion.

Now speaking for myself, I can say that I am certainly no saint. However if you were to compare my life choices to those of Herman Cain, Newt Gingrich, or John Edwards, all self identified Christians, I would certainly seem like one.

I don't lie, or cheat, or steal.

I am not a drug user, an alcoholic, or a wife beater.

I have worked with children my entire life, and have NEVER even been accused of any impropriety. (Despite the best efforts by the Palin-bots.) And in fact have received numerous commendations for my work.

And NO that has nothing to do with my lack of religious faith. It is just who I happen to be.

However if one were trying to measure the morality of certain segments of the population based on their belief system, one might look at data from the prison system. (Admittedly this is a little old, dating back to 1997, though I doubt it has changed much.)

The Federal Bureau of Prisons does have statistics on religious affiliations of inmates. The following are total number of inmates per religion category:

(For the sake of comparison the percentage of Atheists in this country stands at roughly 12%.)

Like I said it is not terribly intelligent to judge a person's morality based on their religious affiliation. But if I were, and based on the above data, I know who I WOULD and WOULD NOT trust.


Distrusting somebody based solely on their religious beliefs, or lack thereof, makes no more sense than trusting somebody based on the color of their skin, their gender, or their height. And in fact it is this "trust shortcut" that is a by product of a deep religious conviction that has allowed certain church members to find themselves victimized time and time again.
