Virginia newspaper puts KKK recruitment flyer on front page. Oops.

A Virginia newspaper has come under fire from its readers after it ran a Ku Klux Klan recruitment flyer in full on its front page. 

The Westmoreland News ran a story on how KKK recruitment flyers and DVDs had started appearing in the town of Colonial Beach, Virginia. 

However, the paper decided to include a copy of the recruitment flyer, which included racist and anti-Semitic language, in full on the front page to illustrate its story. 

“They posted the whole flyer as if they were giving them free advertising,” Colonial Beach resident Betty Tate Thompson told WTVR. “It even had the number on flyer to contact the head of the KKK. Which I thought was totally ridiculous.”

Now I can see why the newspaper would do this as they are accurately relating events, and providing a visual example of what they are reporting. 

(I just did the same thing up above as well.)

However if you were the local chapter of the KKK, and you were having a devil of a time handing out enough flyers to really increase recruitment, just imagine how gratified you would be if the newspaper printed your entire invitation, including contact information, for their thousands of subscribers?

I mean that would be the kind of gift to warm an old racist's heart.

So the criticism is quite valid.

White supremacist groups dramatically increase their college campus recruitment.

White supremacist groups have stepped up their recruiting on college campuses over the past two years with a sharp increase in their presence and activism in the past year, a period that perfectly overlaps with the political presence and prominence of President Donald Trump, according to a new study released this week by the Anti-Defamation League. 

Calling the spike in hate group behavior “alarming,” the ADL tallied a three-fold increase in propaganda efforts by a variety of hate groups and white nationalist organizations on hundreds of campuses nationwide. “White supremacists, particularly alt right groups, have been actively targeting U.S. college campuses since January 2016,” the report states. “The practice failed to get any real traction until the fall semester of 2016. Since then, propaganda efforts have increased dramatically.” 

The ADL recorded 346 incidents of white supremacist materials — fliers, stickers, banners, posters — littering college and university campuses since September 1, 2016. “These campaigns targeted 216 college campuses, from Ivy League schools to local community colleges, in 44 states and the District of Columbia,” the report said.

Well with a card carrying white supremacist in the White House, of course the racists and alt-right folks are going to come crawling out of the woodwork.

Donald Trump is their guy, and he provides a kind of unspoken permission for the country to slide right back into the days of Jim Crow laws, rampant segregation, and of course the oppression of minorities.

While we were all enjoying the holidays, the North Carolina KKK was busy with recruitment.

Some Triangle residents found a delivery in their driveways on Christmas Eve that clearly didn’t come from FedEx. 

People in the White Oak area of Garner woke up Sunday morning to plastic bags containing propaganda from the East Coast Knights of the True Invisible Empire, a statewide chapter of the Ku Klux Klan. 

Some of the bags distributed in the Hillandale neighborhood contained flyers that read, “White pride doesn’t mean hate! It’s OK, you can say it! I’m proud to be white! There is no need to feel guilty because of the past!” 

The flyer asks, “Why can’t pro-white rights organizations exist without being labeled racist?” and, “Why are other races in this country allowed these rights, as they SHOULD, but not the folk of European ancestory (sic)?”

The bags also contained business cards, mints and rocks used to weigh them down.

I think the rocks are a nice touch.

You know just in case you wanted to stone any of your neighbors for daring to not be white. 

Apparently if you call the number they ask you to leave a voice message. And I imagine they received some rather colorful recorded messages.

Look there is nothing inherently wrong with being proud of your heritage.

However to call for ethnic pride usually suggests that there was some reason that you were oppressed due to the color of your skin, that is simply not the case when it comes to being a Caucasian.

Instead our pigment has served as a blessing that typically affords us far more opportunities than our darker brothers and sisters.

And to be honest the KKK was NEVER about celebrating whiteness, it was about terrorizing and oppressing those who were not blessed lily white skin.

Now I have no idea if Jamali is right about this or not, but the guy DID work as a double agent in order to out a Russian spy recruiter, worked for American intelligence, and wrote a book exposing how Russians target and woo potential spies.

So he DOES have the credentials to back up this claim.

Man I can hardly wait to read Trump's tweets in response to this.

Donald Trump responds to being used in a recruitment video for terrorists: "What am I going to do? I have to say what I have to say."

From an interview with John Dickerson on Face the Nation:  

After Dickerson played a portion of the al-Shabab video that showed Trump saying, "Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shut down of Muslims entering the united states until our country's representative can figure out what the f*** is going on," he summarized the video's pitch to Muslims in the U.S. 

"And then the video goes on and says the West will eventually turn against its Muslim citizens," Dickerson said. "It's saying to Muslims, 'You either join jihad or you leave the United States because of what Mr. Trump is proposing.'" 

"Look, there's a problem," Trump responded. "I bring it up. Other people have called me and say, 'You have guts to bring it up because frankly, it's true but nobody wants to get involved. Now people are getting involved. 

"People that are on different persuasions than me right now John are saying, you know maybe Trump isn't wrong. We want to examine it." 

Dickerson then asked, "Does it concern you at all that you're being used in essentially a recruitment video by a terrorist organization?" 

"They use other people, too," Trump said. "What am I going to do? I have to say what I have to say. And you [know] what I have to say? There's a problem. We have to find out what is a problem. And we have to solve that problem."

So essentially what Trump is saying is that he has no impulse control and will say whatever occurs to him, EVEN if it is detrimental to our nation or benefits the terrorists.

Can't say that surprises me in the least.

Terror group al-Shabab, al-Qaeda's Somalia-based affiliate, is using a clip from Donald Trump in a purported Islamist propaganda video -- and it's gaining traction among Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) online channels. 

The nearly hour-long video, produced by al-Shabab's media arm al-Kataib, uses a soundbite from the Republican front-runner's speech in December calling for the "total and complete shutdown" of Muslims entering the country. 

Preceding the Trump clip, a bite from the now-deceased al-Qaeda leader Anwar al-Awlaki, who was killed in a U.S. airstrike in Yemen in 2011, warns "Muslims of the West" to be cautious and "learn from the lessons of history." 

"There are ominous clouds gathering in your horizon," al-Awlaki says in English. "Yesterday, America was a land of slavery, segregation, lynching, and Ku Klux Klan. And tomorrow it will be a land of religious discrimination and concentration camps. "

The video then cuts to footage of Trump during a South Carolina rally where he said this:  

"And so remember this. So listen. Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country's representatives can figure out what the --- is going on."

Gee, I guess somebody owes Hillary Clinton an apology. 

In wake of Chattanooga shooting gun wielding morons decide to stand around military recruitment offices in the hopes that people will think they look tough.

Gun-toting citizens are showing up at military recruiting centers around the country, saying they plan to protect recruiters following last week's killing of four Marines and a sailor in Chattanooga, Tennessee. 

The citizens, some of them private militia members, said they're supporting the recruiters, who by military directive are not armed. 

"We're here to serve and protect," Clint Janney said Tuesday, wearing a Taurus 9mm handgun as he stood in a parking lot across from a recruiting center on the west side of Columbus. "What the government won't do, we will do." 

Similar posts have been set up outside recruitment centers in several cities around the country, including Madison, Wisconsin; Hiram, Georgia; Phoenix; and several sites in Tennessee, including Murfreesboro.

You can tell this guy is a bad ass because of the backward cap. That is a sure sign of badassery.

 As it turns out the military's response to these Rambo wannabes is "Thanks, but no thanks."

But the military wasn't embracing all of those volunteers. 

Marine Corps headquarters told Texas-based TV station KLTV that while they appreciate the volunteers' support, they ask that civilians not stand guard outside their facilities. 

And an unidentified official told Savannah, Georgia TV station WSAV that there is “always some concern about safety for our soldiers and civilians when someone is walking around with weapons."

Don't you just hate it when you get all dressed up in your best GI Joe Underoos and spit shine your metal penis extender and nobody appreciates the effort?

White supremacist group leaves flyers around military base in attempt to recruit military personnel into their organization. Oh yeah, that's comforting.

White supremacists are recruiting at Fort Carson, Colorado. 

Law enforcement officials at the post are investigating after propaganda flyers for Northwest Front, a self-described white separatist organization, were found on post and turned over to authorities, according to post spokesperson Dani Johnson. 

The flyers, posted to Reddit early Tuesday, urge troops to join the group’s drive to create a “white nation” in the Pacific Northwest and “secure the existence of our people and a future for White children.” 

“Ever wonder if you are fighting for the right side?” says one flyer, which accuses the Pentagon of targeting white men and Christians. 

A Reddit user who describes himself as a paratrooper, jhb2wr, posted to Reddit saying he and some other paratroopers “found about a dozen sealed plastic bags blowing around Fort Carson with this flyer and a CD inside.” 

Reddit users responded, urging the soldier to turn the flyers over to authorities and not to put the CD into a computer for fear of computer viruses. 

Current and former members of the military have long been coveted by neo-Nazi and white supremacist groups for their tactical skills and ideological beliefs, and efforts to recruit them are nothing new, according to scholar Brian Levin.

You may remember that on Tuesday I reported that this was part of the plan laid out by the KKK to start training their members in military style combat techniques for the race war that they predict is on the way.

That is all we need. For the crazed 2nd Amendment assholes, the militia assholes, and the racist assholes to all get together as one giant group of assholes. Assuming of course that there has ever been much of a difference between them in the first place.

Well I think I know where they can find one of their first recruits.

Not only is he military trained, he worships the 2nd Amendment, and has been known to pal around with racists.

I really do think it is time for the Obama Administration to stop spending so much time on Islamic terrorism and start focusing on what is happening domestically.
