Here is the question that I would love to have the answer to.

At this point poor George is holding those rose colored glasses tightly to his head. He cannot allow himself to be distracted by any negative news. He is just going to lower his head and plow forward, stopping once in a while to let out a "quack". I was just a little too young to remember what Nixon's demeanor was during Watergate, but I seem to remember that he looked defeated and did not keep acting like he was not bothered by all of the negative press that swirled around his administration at the end. At this is where we are by the way, the end. Or at least the beginning of the end.
