Tony Knowles began making his case today for why he should get a third term as Alaska’s governor. Knowles is describing himself as “battle-tested.” The former two-term Democratic governor says he was dealt a tougher hand than Gov. Frank Murkowski, with oil prices as low as $9 a barrel and fights with the Legislature about where to make budget cuts.
Tony is our "knight in shining armor". He is a very effective leader and should have no problem beating the incumbant Frank Murkowski who most of us hate!
That is if the Republicans don't cheat again.
Tony ran against Murkowski's daughter Lisa for the Senate seat and unbelievably was beaten. But there have been some voting irregularities discovered up here as well. I hope that we get a fair and equitable election this time.
