Philadelphia say that if Boy Scouts don't start allowing gays to play dress-up too then they will throw them out.

The Boy Scouts' Cradle of Liberty Council, the country's third-largest, has been battling with the city for more than three years over the policy, which like the national Scouts organization forbids gays from being leaders.

City Solicitor Romulo L. Diaz Jr. wrote a letter to William T. Dwyer III, president of the Cradle of Liberty Council, stating that the council's "discriminatory policies" violate city policy and law, and that city officials have not been assured the group will not discriminate.

Unless the city gets a "fair-market rent agreement," the council will be evicted, the letter says.

I am just having trouble trying to understand why any self respecting homosexual would want to wear that tacky uniform? I mean it is tres' "get me into the woods where I can hide my shame". What adult male, gay or straight, wants to walk around like that? Unless it is in some kinky costume party, which I don't really want to get into here.

But maybe allowing gay scout masters will help the Boy Scouts to bring their fashion into the twenty first century. Maybe a kicky salmon neckerchief to replace the crappy bolo-like thing they have now. And what is with those fucking socks?

And imagine the badges they could introduce.

• The knot tying badge might include a few more knots.
• The gourmet campground cooking badge.
• The show tune sing-along badge would be Faaabuuluss!

Okay I got silly but you see the benefits don't you?

Sexual orientation should not be a factor in choosing a positive role model as long as the person poses no danger to the children.

Being gay does not make you a pedophile.

Being a Catholic priest does.

Everybody knows that. (And just like that he lost all of his Catholic visitors.)
