Really great video that demonstrates the difference between the biblical take on science and real science.

This guy put a lot of work into this and it certainly deserves to be seen.

I am kind of in a video mood today.

  1. W-O-W, that was fast'n'furious! Wonderful, really makes me proud to be firmly grounded in science.

Yesterday on C-Span, just before the debates, they were showing Michael Neudow presenting his case to the Ninth District Court in CA (the notoriously liberal court). You might remember his case revolves around children reciting the pledge of allegiance with "under god", which he as an athiest finds offensive. so....what do my wandering eyes fix on while the judges are asking him questions? There's a tile mural in back of the judge bench with all sorts of geometrical designs, and the BORDER is a series of repeating objects that look suspiciously like ... the flying spaghetti monster! Yes! there he was, enshrined in a tile wall mural, repeated in series, a whole herd of flying spaghetti monsters! Better than seeing a tortilla jesus or grill-cheese mary, any day.

  3. And isn't that all of the evidence we need that the Flying Spaghetti Monster is real?

I demand that we have our national holiday recognized by this country!

Um, do we have a national holiday?

  4. I just searched online for an image of the tile wall mural behind the 9th Circuit judge's bench, so I could PROVE FSM was there. Nothing. Nada. Zip. But why should that stop me from proclaiming it as a genyouwine sighting? Why should I play by those pesky little science hypothesis/theory/proof rules? If you believe it, if your faith is strong, there can be no doubt. I will have a body/blood celebration with spaghetti tonight, in his honor. The body will be represented by humongous stuffed meatballs. The blood by thick red sauce. The noodles are self-explanatory. I have faith that if enough people do this, the FSM image on the courtroom mural will appear online for all to verify. If it doesn't, then chalk it up to a lack of faith, not a repudiation of his manifestation.
