I am suffering some fairly substantial "Palin-oversaturation".
I mean at first it was fairly entertaining, and it seemed important for Alaskans and the rest of the country to hear how vacuous she was through her own words.
But damn. this woman simply does not have an off switch! She is the Energizer Bunny of stupidity.
So Palin flew to Miami, Florida, to attend the Republican Governors Association meeting, where she continued to vomit forth barely coherent sentences.
Palin said: "A priority for me is serving the constituents of the state of Alaska ... They hired me and I have an obligation, or a responsibility to serve Alaska as their governor." WTF?
Governor Palin arrived back in Alaska on November 6, today is November 13, I can say with complete confidence that she has done absolutely nothing to "serve Alaska" since she returned. Since Palin has been back she has done nothing but interview, after interview, after interview.
We actually have some very important issues which need attention right now. We have a serious issue with villages in the Alaskan interior suffering because of the price of fuel, a gas pipeline that is currently in limbo, and....uh....ah....you know now that I think about it after seeing Sarah Palin finally speaking to the press and giving us a real look at how her mind works, maybe it is best that she just continue giving interviews and not attempt to do any actual governing. Yeah I think that is best.
I am not exactly sure WHO is running the state right now, but I am pretty confident they will do a better job.
Okay here is one last Palin tidbit before I completely ignore her and her "American Political Idol" audition for the rest of the day.
Before the election, Palin reportedly told James Dobson of Focus on the Family that she was confident that God would do the right thing for the country on Nov. 4.
"And I do believe that prayers were answered, others who prayed across this nation in the election that this nation would be protected, that we would be safe, that we would be prosperous and favored. I believe that prayer is answered," she said.
Finally! Something that Sarah Palin and I can both agree on!
If God truly had a hand in what took place on November 4, then he ABSOLUTELY did "the right thing for the country". So even though I am not much of a church goer I just have to say "Thanks God! You done good."
"Palin didn't attend events with the governors on Wednesday, instead choosing to do interviews with CNN. On Thursday, she planned a news conference before starting a panel discussion on the party's future. While several of the governors at the conference are considered potential candidates in 2012, she is the only one acknowledging that she'll consider it."
