You know I could watch Rachel verbally spank Tim Phillips all day long.

"Geese ridden resignation speech". You gotta love it.

Rick Perry must be into political Russian Roulette. If he has half a brain he'll keep Quittypants on a short leash. For the love of God, Ricky, don't let her ad lib anything!

Or maybe he can just grab her arm and direct her away from the lectern when everyone's had enough yammering, the way he did at the RGA meeting. That was hilarious.

  2. Palin will campaign for Perry sometime next year, according to his campaign, but the dates are still being finalized. Palin endorsed the Texas governor's re-election bid earlier this year.

"She will be coming here to campaign sometime after the first of the year once she is done with her book tour," said Perry spokesman Mark Miner.

Palin's spokesman Meg Stapleton did not respond to inquiries seeking to confirm the visit.

Perry and Palin are an ideal couple in my book - racist and "dummed down". Baily Hutchison must love this!

  4. I am always amused that everyone calls the birds during the "quitty speech" geese because they are actually "Rednecked Grebes".

The lakes in the valley are lousy with them and I always find that to be an appropriate commentary on the state of the political scene here in the Mat-Su.

Don't get me wrong, I love watching them from my kayak in the summer months as they are caring bird parents that let the little ones ride around on their backs until they are able to swim, but Hey, Mat-Su Valley, Red Necked Grebes....need I say more!

Give that bird a Budweiser!!!! (and a 4-wheeler and a snowmachine and a gun and a double wide....)

As a spokesperson for Palin, Stapleton hasn't spoken or responded a lot of late. There was a time when you couldn't get Meg to stop responding or talking.

Bravo Rachel! Tim Phillips needs to be called out loud and clear on his cross country circus of fear. What a patronizing bully he was, in the first segment, to try and talk over Rachel. Bill O'Reilly does this all the time, when his "guest" tries to make a point B'OR does not want to hear. You could tell she was really, really mad at him but did not lose her cool.

SP in Texas, "helping" Rick Perry. Well, maybe. How much cash is he slipping her to do this? Does one of her PAC's require her to do this? Will she get up that morning, and decide to blow it off, and go shopping instead? Time will tell.

  8. This less than erudite moron has the nerve to genuflect and suggest any sort of camaraderie as if SP and Margaret Thatcher have anything in common aside from being carbon based units?

As if they were personal friends or acquaintances?

This was posted on Sarah Palin’s facebook- and is she kidding?

Why didn’t she call Margaret when she first discovered her clitoris or had her first period?

So now she has a staff researcher going after birthdays of all legendary women in history?

Why not start with Joan, Bovary, Helen, Jane (Hanoi), Mata Hari, Cleo-, Rose (Tokyo), Eva (Braun), and keep going from there- extend all your heart felt wishes to them as well as the clear fellowship and journeys you have shared with said group.

    Birthday Wishes to Margaret Thatcher

I would like to extend warm birthday wishes to Margaret Thatcher today. Baroness Thatcher continues to remain a role model to many people, particularly women, around the world. Her career is a collection of “firsts.” She was the youngest female Conservative Party member to stand for election in history, she was the first woman to hold the title Leader of the Opposition, and she was the first woman to become Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

As Prime Minister, she took an active role in defending economic freedom and democratic ideals. Her push to privatize British industry and lower tax rates led to a substantial economic expansion in the United Kingdom. She was just as influential in foreign policy. Along with President Ronald Reagan and Pope John Paul II, Prime Minister Thatcher recognized the evil of Communism and worked tirelessly to erode the power and influence of the Soviet Union.

Her life and career serve as a blueprint for overcoming the odds and challenging the “status quo.” She started life as a grocer’s daughter from Grantham and rose to become Prime Minister – all by her own merit and hard work. I cherish the accomplishments of Margaret Thatcher and will always count her as one of my role models.

It's a natural match - Sarah Palin of the AIP and secessionist governor of Texas.
