Frank Bailey's Sarah Palin tell-all, is a no-go.

Frank Bailey’s co-authors for “Renegade: Sarah Palin's Hatchet Man,” are pulling out.

Word came in a brief emailed statement today from Joy Morgan and her daughter, Christiana Grace, Southern California public relations pros who were writing the book with Bailey.

Bailey was Palin’s close aide, director of boards and commissions, and a figure in the “Troopergate” investigation last year.

“Releve Marketing and PR of San Diego, CA has made the decision today to no longer represent or co-author Frank Bailey's upcoming book Renegade: Sarah Palin's Hatchet Man.”

It was a pretty abrupt announcement, since just yesterday Morgan and Grace sent out a press release to promote the book, saying that “although Palin has worked hard on attaining a polished public image, behind the scenes things were often a very different story. Bailey, one of Palin's closest inner circle, tells that story.”

Grace wouldn’t say why she and her mother are dropping out, but said it’s nothing personal.

“Frank Bailey and I have been close friends since college and we remain close friends,” she said.

Grace declined to provide any contact information to reach Bailey regarding the book.

Well isn't that interesting?

I wonder WHO contacted who? (Update: Turns out it was TONS of pressure!)

I know that Frank Bailey was gung ho to write this book, so whatever transpired might be something he wants brought to light.

Gee I hope this is not a trend. Though I cannot imagine whoever is pulling Palin's strings having the power to stop ALL of the potentially damaging books coming out.

But believe me Bailey HAS the goods. Make no mistake about that!

  1. So now what ... how do we get the "goods?"

How do you get people like this into a grand jury for questioning?

Perhaps Frank Bailey needs to be in contact with OR Books, the publishers of 'Going Rouge'. Might be a nice meld!

  5. Just because Bailey's first choice for a publisher fell through does not mean he will not go forward with a book.

Like I said, he wants to tell his story.

If Bailey wants to blab, he hardly has to write a book. That's why God created pajama-clad political bloggers.

  7. If Bailey has the goods, and evidence to back it all up, someone is going to want to help write and publish his book. There's too much money to be made not to.

I hope someone steps up to help him finish and publish the book. From a purely commercial standpoint, I think there would be a lot of money in it for someone willing to take it on.

From a political/cultural standpoint, hearing an inner circle voice would be invaluable if for no other reason (and there are many others) than to generate a reaction from the Palin camp. Its reactions tell us a lot about the veracity and import of any "rumor" or alleged truth.

Gosh, how do we get the word to this man to keep at it. I wonder if the "co-authors" have to legally grant him a sort of free agent status other than their withdrawal.

Beyond disappointing and frustrating if it means no book!

Ya gotta wonder whether the pressure was put on Releve Marketing or on Bailey.

I recall reading that they hired an agent to shop publishers. Hopefully, that's still in the works along with a search for a new co-author.

hmmm, wonder if they got threats from the palin wackos who run around threatening everyone who speaks the truth about the queen.

Are you able to elaborate on what "tons of pressure" entails?

A proper publishing house will have all the necessary writing, editing and fact-check capabilities that a small PR company doesn't.

I believe Frank was the source of the divorce/ring news - which came out just days after his resignation - so he definitely has a tale to tell. An interesting question is "How willing would Mrs Palin be to part with all of her ill-gotten gains to pay him off?" I'm thinking it would take a bundle for him to forego the security of having the truth out there. I hope so, anyway.

  13. From the AP report: "Christiana Grace, company co-owner and one of the co-authors, says she can't elaborate on the reasons for the termination. But she adds it was not a falling out with Bailey, her close friend since college. Bailey could not be reached for comment."

This is very disturbing. If they can pressure these people to drop the book, there must be really damaging stuff in there that goes beyond Palin. I'm guessing this may have to do with what the McCain campaign knew and covered up. It's also possible that the 'pressure' came with a big payoff, in which case we may never hear about this from Bailey. I hope we get some more info on whether Bailey will try to go forward with this book.

yeah, he wasn't serious anyways because he telegraphed his move he was asking for attention by team sarah to pressure him or pay him off.

I am so ready for a court room setting for saga Sarah. I want the good people to make lots o' mulah on books and more. The others that lie or hold back can do time.

I would guess that this book has "The Goods" and that these ladies were being threatened.

I am sure Frank wants to get this book out and will create the right team for it.

Just like Levi everything is about timing and dealing with the strongest team!

Sarah's 15 min's are still clicking, but she has a lot of baggage. Sooner or later she will also cross the wrong people in the lower 48 and the tower will crumble.

Bailey enjoy that drink on the beach with an umbrella in it. its all gravy as long as you threaten another book you get another payoff

This was the one book I was anxious to read since it would actually be about Palin's tenure as governor. All the family stuff is fun to follow, but isn't all that important in the larger picture.

  19. Bailey did NOT sell out.

Palin cannot afford to buy him off.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Anonymous4:57 PM

....Well, Sarah knows her people and why they won't be any renegade on that bunch.

Why would he be announcing an unfinished book?

Those who ever got to be part of Palin inner circle won't have the fortitude to go against her, at least not on a mainstream way, it would have to be a surprise, say, get on tv on the premises of a fluff piece on Palin and then blurt out the goods.

    There is always Youtube also,too.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Exactly how much money does it take to buy someone's integrity? Have you ever wondered?

Wonder if Team Levi is looking for a partner for HIS book?

    ReplyDelete
  23. Anonymous5:18 PM

Gryphen, ddon't go out on a limb for Bailey.

We are brainstorming here, the damage has been done already, as if by now he didn't know with who he was dealing.

The failure to produce the book only fuels the concept of the unstoppable, ruthless Palin.

I'm chicken out and I'm just a reader, afraid of trolls.

  24. I figured it out, everyone. The Democrats don't want Frank's damning info out there because they want Scarah to run for president; that way, Obama will win by a landslide again!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Anonymous6:24 PM

If Frank did not sell out as Gryphen says, then he must be being threatened. This is how it is with $arah Paylin. Threats, intimidation.....

Perhaps the co-writers were being threatened , as well. I put nothing past these thugs.

His book WILL be coming out! Beware of trolls. They are hear for a reason-to discredit Frank.

"Tons of Pressure?" Typical. I can only imagine by whom.

Now we know why Levi has a constant body guard. He feels his life is in danger. Is Frank in the same position now? My money is on that. Sickening.

Only one person uses the expression: "telegraphed his move."
can anyone guess who that is?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Anonymous6:38 PM

Frank Bailey..... Take your story to the Democratic National Party...they will buy it! Now , go get a body guard like Levi...you are probably going to need him. You are dealing with the big boys now. Frank.....if you have and decency at all , you will expose this fraud of a woman.

  30. Perhaps the Feds got involved, and persuaded Bailey to delay his project until certain other matters fell into place. Sounds to me like the co-authors or the publishers got the cold feet. Maybe they did not want to end up as witnesses in a federal case involving what Bailey was recounting. Lots of reasons for a parting of the ways.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I hope Gryphen is right. It's pretty clear something serious is going on here if people have to be pressured, threatened, paid off or whatever it takes to keep Sarah's secrets from coming out. I wonder if they are not putting similar pressure on Levi because his lawyer already knows stuff. Maybe Bailey needs a good lawyer as well as a publisher.

  32. Anonymous9:16 PM

    Bailey SOLD OUT

He wants money to tell his story...end game. If he's serious about putting the info out he doesn't need a publisher and can set up a blog online and just tell it from his perspective.

As we all know, he'll never do that because he's like Sarah the grifter and only interested in getting paid not protecting his country.

Prove me wrong Bailey. Or prove me right.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Anonymous9:26 PM

I agree with mxm. They were probably threatened with legal action, particularly since Bailey has claimed he intends to back up his story with emails and other documents. Whether it's a legal entity such as the Feds or Palin's attorneys....who knows.

  34. Anonymous9:26 PM

Bailey SOLD OUT. He wants money for his story.
I don't hate him, just saying...

He can put his information in a blog and publish it on the internet. No publisher required. But, I have a feeling no money no story the rest of the country be damned. Right Bailey?

Perhaps Bailey was advised that in some situations where he acted on Palin's behalf that he broke the law and would be found legally culpable.

I still hope he can tell his story.

Why blog about it? The queen of quits has a special place in her heart for Alaksan Bloggers. I want the signed hard cover that NO ONE can doubt exists. Not just a blogger.

I think he's already found a publisher. Kick in the pants if the same 'ghost writer' became Baily's 'ghost writer'. And please. Don't wait until she's the nominee. I am GOP, and want my party fixed. What SHE did to a fellow female GOP up in NY just because she can waive prurdier was WRONG. I want the B***tch out.

Remember the woman who started to write the book "Sarah" and then quit because she felt uneasy. Seems like she was from AK. Perhaps she might be interested in Frank's story and maybe some of you great AK bloggers could put the two together.

I am all for Bailey getting paid big bucks to sell his story, and I will certainly buy his book. From what I can tell, Bailey will need the money to pay for protection from the Palin-bots who will be terrorizing him after he tells the truth.

  39. Anonymous11:21 AM

Didn't I read something where either the State of Alaska or Palin (while in office) had them sign something that said they would not disclose things that occurred during their employment with her and the administation? Perhaps they can legally go after him if he publishes the book?

What I want to know is who is the premie baby in Mercede's Facebook pictures? You know the Triggybear,mommy-in-law, brother pictures with Levi, Bristol and Sarah. They all were one happy family, what happened? I think that baby is, was Bristol and Levis first baby. That is not Trig, what happened to that baby? Happy Happy family THEN....

I think Trig is Sherry and Tracks baby (hysterectomy was to throw us off) remember her computer was scrubbed, why? That is why Levi loves him and Sarah can't face him, Todd loves him because he's the granpa, and Bristol is taking care of her brothers baby. The 2 younger kids don't know because Sarah faked being prego. Sherry may have changed her mine about Sarah adopting him, to jail she went and they don't want Mercede or Levi around, like No pictures of Trig are to be taken for Trigs real mother. Sara could be Grama to either 2 or 3 babys!!!

Obviously from the comments from trolls on this thread, the Palin cult went after the publisher and Bailey. The publisher didn't want to have their reputation slandered as happens to anyone who crosses Palin (and by that I mean speaks the truth about the Cult Leader of the Pharisees).

Palin put her bulldogs on the publisher.

Leave Bailey alone. The guy was obviously used and was very naive to have worked with her for so long anyway. It happens to the nicest people. Read aboutr the victims of narcissists. I don't believe that he has no integrity.

I hope he covers his back and publishes his book after getting protection from the DoJ. Thank god some of the Bush Mafia in the DoJ have been replaced -- he just might get protection this time.
