A GOP strategist employed by the same company contracted by California Republican Senate hopeful Carly Fiorina recently had some unenthusiastic words for half-term Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, who endorsed Fiorina earlier this month.
In a Facebook update, Matt Rexroad, a managing partner of strategy firm Meridian Pacific, Inc. though not working with the Fiorina campaign, wrote of Palin's endorsement that he "understands it works with Republican voters.....but if Sarah Palin endorsed me I would be too embarrassed to tell anyone.
I have been thinking this for such a long time and to finally see a Republican say it out loud MAKES MY FREAKING DAY!
Wasilla has turned on Sarah, the teabaggers are turning on Sarah, and now the regular GOP are starting to turn on Sarah Palin. Isn't that just about everybody now?

Gryph, I think your last sentence covers the only people who ever supported her. It has just been those perverted middle aged men in power, and who control the media, shove this dingbat down the publics throat 24/7, hoping something will stick. It has been a number of years since I have heard the paint chip eaters. Sure that accounts for many. Any repub with self respect would not want an endorsement from an illiterate, hate monger.

Listen people... I personally can only take so much.. I'm Christian, first to say Sarah has shown no fruit that would suggest that she is!I'm PRO life, not a lunatic however. Sarah is pro Sarah's life, that's all! I don't eat paint chips, I'm not perverted! Well, I guess that depends on who you ask.. And, I love being a middle aged woman who has raised her children to be competent ethical adults. Get a grip, because who you see as followers of this incompetent don't have an idealogy or a sense of political purpose, they are simply blinded by Fool's Gold. Its about defending the indefencable.. Some of them will figure it out.. Some will not!
It was long overdue for a Republican strategist to voice what the majority of us have seen since 2008. Anyone with mental intelligence and moral integrity should be embarrassed by her endorsements. She is i(gnorant), d(ivisive), i(ntellectually lazy) o(bnoxious), and t(erminally narcissistic).
ReplyDeletePalin's only true god is Palin, in spite of her claims to be Christian. True Christians do not bear false witness against others or worship money as an end in itself. Her followers are indeed "blinded by Fool's Gold," because they can't see the disconnect, for example, between her "pro-life" stance and her neglect of parental responsibilities for her very much alive children. They also can't see the disconnect between her claim to be a Christian and her actual unethical behavior.
I have read countless blogs by people who keep making excuses for every dumb thing she says and does, as well as trying to rationalize her words and actions that are as ethically challenged as they are intellectually bankrupt. It will most likely take a large-scale and resounding electoral rejection of this woman before some of them see the light.
I'm also convinced that others never will, and there is no hope for them.
