David Letterman's "Top Ten Surprises in Sarah Palin's New Book"
Although I'm sure most of you will think she's perfectly justified in what she said. But just make sure you read the whole quote from Michelle first. Give the First Lady that bit of respect, at least.
"Chalk Bristol up as a victim of the cult of self-esteem. No one she has encountered in her life - from her parents to her teachers - wanted her to feel bad by hearing the truth. So she grew up convinced that she could become a big pop star like Michael Jackson. On DWTS of course, this self-esteem-enhanced but talent deprived performer eventually learned the truth. After she has embarrassed her-self for the benefit of the producers, she will be told in no uncertain terms that she, in fact, can't dance, regardless of what she has been told by others."

What is not surprising about Sarah's book is that it reads like the diary of a teen aged girl, still "getting back" at people she didn't like. (Years before face book, there was a slam book). How petty to wage war in print against Levi, Michelle, Joe, anyone who tried out for American Idol, President Obama. I thought the book was supposed to reflect uplifting stories about the remarkable people that Sarah met as she traveled around the country. Instead, we are treated to a two year old running fued with a teen aged boy, and a two year old grudge against the guy who beat John McCain. (Sarah thinks that she was the one running against Obama, but she forgot that she was in the #2 slot).
