Actually, there's a lot of truth to this joke. The gay men I have known pay taxes, buy and renovate houses, support the arts, and do not burden the ed system with children. So they make great neighbors -- in more ways than just financially, too. Sorry to get serious on you, but social fabric? They form a very fine part of it in my book.

  9. Well, there might be a gay-led crusade against double-knit polyester fabrics in sherbet colors...

I understand that only 35% of American men are born homosexual.
...the rest are sucked into it.

It IS funny!! And has anyone seen this "Gay Agenda" defined in writing anywhere that they keep railing about?

I totally agree. I would much rather have a homosexual couple living on both sides of me than some white trash, bible thumping righteous republicant. No couches on the front porch, no meth labs in the basement, the trash cans get taken in and I won't step in their dog's doo doo when I get my mail. I live in an area of the south where there is a rather large population of lesbians and our community is so much better for it. I know, hard to believe it is the south, but it is also a college town--Thank God for educated people. If it were not for the school, I would not even think of living here. I hate to use such horrible language, but I just can't help myself when it comes to the extreme right.

Cute joke! I don't understand how gay marriage is some sort of threat to "traditional" marriage. No one ever explains that. The most beautiful, tasteful homes I've ever seen were owned by gay couples. The couples were meticulous with their homes and certainly never reduced the value of any neighborhood.

Yes,...having loving gay couples find each other as soul mates and marry, buy houses, and settle down, that would be horrible, right? It's much better that we have fake Brokeback Mountain marriages, and wives who are frigid, and have the children grow up seeing an example of a loveless union. Yeah, like those scenarios are going to produce well-adjusted children, right? Well, I've seen this movie and it doesn't end well.
