, and it is reasonably priced at only $7.00.It is not the book I have been trying to help Shailey get published, so I cannot really recommend it based on my own personal experience, but if you re interested in supporting Shailey or reading a good short story, this might be the book for you!

ReplyDeleteGryphen, where is Shailey now, do you know? I have a vague memory that she had moved to Arizona. And now that the Palins are almost certainly moving there, I'm thinking nasty thoughts. Like, maybe Todd wanted one of his mistresses already in place when he moved down there?

Shailey doesnt live in AZ. Shes joked about moving near Bristol, as she jokes about everything (admittedly). She has said she lives somewhere thats an hour ahead of AK time. AND Sarah came close to her town on booktour. I"m guessing SW or mountainy area.

ReplyDeleteI will buy it-- this lady is someone whose brush with fame is worthy. She doesn't want to be remembered as TP's whatever, she is an articulate, sensitive woman with more to offer.
ReplyDeleteSarah may tease about running for POS, that president of the united states, not piece of shirt - r, but what she is doing is running for kyle's senate seat. why? it's a 6 year job with health insurance and unless az has recall laws. a u.s. senator has no responsibilities. She would have a perfect forum to blast the president and really can do zilch for 6 years.
ReplyDeleteAlso, too, if Giffords can recover, it could be palin vs giffords in the election. Sarah probably blames Gifford for her low poll ratings and wants revenge.
Could you buy the book and read it and then tell us if it has anything in it worth knowing? Seven bucks is too much to waste on speculation.

US Senators do nothing?? I don't think do. Sarah is not going to run for Kyls seat. There is just no way. She makes more now, a lot more! And why try for senator when one can run for president? No way. It's not going to happen.

ReplyDeleteI hate to think Palin's downfall is hitched to the wagon of folks like this, or the stalker's dad. Utterly unserious, and therefore not credible. Someone find Todd's kid, or CBJ, or find something juicy in the emails - corruption, deception, whatever -- in nine days. Otherwise, she is just going to have to fail on her own ignorance and stupidity.

ReplyDeleteSo hope she tells all about the fact Sarah wasn't pregnant when at the spa and uses as proof the form that all clients have to complete before a massage. That will be what will bring Palin down, down, down even further.
Her blog says it's a "short story." However, Amazon doesn't tell anything about what it's about. Since a "short story" is usually a purely fictional tale, I'm guessing that it's not about anything to do with Todd and Sarah (as some here in this thread have seemed to think).
ReplyDeleteDo you have any further information about the topic? The cover is lovely, but it looks like her supposedly "professional" publishers have let her down by not including a synopsis of the story on Amazon. She needs to add that to her blog, at least.
This book is NOT about Toad and scarah, which is fine! I just ordered it. Shailey is supporting two special needs children, and I am happy to support HER.

I live in the 'mountainy area' of Utah, and I do not think she is anywhere around here, as we are 2 hours ahead of Alaska time, as are other States around here. Not sure if this is considered the SW or not? But that 2-hour difference in time would be more like PST areas - a little further toward NV, CA., OR, or AZ :o)

ReplyDeleteBased on what she presented on her blog in the last few months, it's the story of 2 months of being homeless. And poetry. A creative work on self-expression.
It's not:
- about adventures with the Palins.
- allegedly giving Sarah Palin a massage.
- giving men "massages."
- any kind of narrative about anything.
Surely you should say that Shailey's book is SELF PUBLISHED?
ReplyDeleteThis book is simply a short story of my homeless experience and the situations I was going through during that time in my life. At the end of this short story, I did along with another author, put a preview of the next book, which is about myself and the Palins as well as some other things. The price was set at the recommendation of Amazon and I am only making .54 off each sale. the rest goes to Amazon. Thank you.
