Does the existence of the "vacuum on the Right" indicate that Sarah Palin still has a chance? No!

There is a new article this morning from Bernie Quigley of The Hill, in which he quotes the Washington Post's Dan Balz as follows:

A vacuum on the right has become one of the distinguishing features of the campaign for the GOP nomination. One by one, candidates have come calling for support. One by one, they have stumbled or have been found wanting by rank-and-file Republicans.

And then Quigley adds:

Newt Gingrich rises, in opposition to MSM. He appears the best option now to face Romney. But is his appeal broad enough, and can the professor appeal to plain folk? That is the question and that is the question that Sarah Palin should be asking this morning. Possibly she created "the vacuum on the right" when she got off the bus and took it back to Alaska. As per last night it is safe to say there is still time to get in simply because nothing else is working. And the failure of the other contenders works positively in her favor.

It is a sentiment shared, of course, by the now rudderless Sea O'Pee, who are still desperately trying to figure out some way to raise enough money to buy billboards in order to convince Palin to jump back into the race. (They do realize we do not allow billboards in Alaska right?)

The Sea O'Pee folks can be excused somewhat, because they are certifiably nuts, but what is up with these so called "journalists" actually suggesting that Sarah Palin still has a shot at the nomination, and then, hang on I am trying not to choke on these words, the White House?

Let me clear up a few things for all of you out there who are either rubbing your hands together in glee at the thought, or jumping out of your skin at the very notion, of Sarah Palin reentering the race.

She ain't going to do it!

And not just for the reasons that everybody already knows about, like that she is too stupid, or too lazy, or too busy whoring for money. There are other, much larger, obstacles standing in her way.

Joe McGinniss already hinted at them in a few of his interviews when he was asked if he thought his book might be the reason that Palin had ended her long flirtation with the nomination.  Joe had replied that in a way yes he did, but not because of what was in the book, but rather because of what was NOT in the book, and was likely to be revealed if she were to place herself on the national stage again.

What I imagine Joe is referring to, though we have never directly discussed it, is not just the revelations about "babygate," but other darker secrets that could in fact place Palin in danger of incarceration for a very long time.

As many of you who have followed this story for these last three years are probably aware there are quite a few potential legal scandals which, by comparison, would make what Herman Cain is currently experiencing look like the proverbial cake walk. But there are yet other, even deeper secrets, that will ONLY come out if Palin decides to run for this office.

Though many Palin supporters have dismissed it out of hand as nothing more than a rumor, there really was an "iceberg" looming on the horizon when Palin stepped down as Governor of Alaska, her decision was not JUST about making boatloads of money. However it is an iceberg which will forever lurk beneath the seemingly calm surface to never be revealed, so long as Palin remembers that it exists, and never allows her ego to overshadow her instinct for survival.

Personally I would like to see these secrets exposed, but even as a "so-called" journalist I am unable to do so without the permission of the people involved, or the okay of certain officials, and they simply will never give that to me.

So though I have little doubt that Sarah Palin is watching these debates, and this "Clown College on a road trip" group of candidates, while ripping out huge chunks of her hair in frustration that she cannot stand with them demonstrating HER lack of qualifications for the office, she really has NO choice but to sit it out.  Which, just to shut the door on any OTHER ridiculous speculation, also precludes her from running for any OTHER national office, whether it be a Senate seat in Arizona, or a VP spot alongside Rick "I stepped in it" Perry.

So I know it sells papers, and gets hits on websites, to bring up the possibility of Palin throwing her wig back into the ring, but trust me, there IS no possibility.

I still believe that Palin will reemerge in some form or another to continue grifting from the paint chip eaters, but it will not be as a national political candidate.

Unless of course she wants to prove me wrong, and launch a campaign out of pure spite, which I absolutely encourage her to do because, like I said, there are tales yet to be told.

" But there are yet other, even deeper secrets, that will ONLY come out if Palin decides to run for this office."

No, there aren't. While the technically correct answer is, "yes, there are – and there are a boat load of them," she well knows that if she declares very late, after every other candidate has completely destroyed himself (and herself), the media's feeding frenzy at that point would be focused only on her 'charm and charisma' and the fact that the GOP could still compete in a 'doable horserace'. The American psyche has a collective and deep-seated fear about national elections that are completely one-sided, an emotional factor that would work greatly to her benefit. Mark my words, there would be no time or interest in investigating or exposing any serious allegations at that point. What little facts the public did know would be either forgotten or confined to internet blogs, and any lifting up of the rug would be met with a collective 'harrumph'. THIS is what she has been banking on all along – to be the stealth candidate at a time when there is no interest, national energy, will, or opportunity for doing a meaningful fact check. There is no way the media would participate in disabling her after all the other candidates had been politically maimed: they would never live down the allegations that they had been tools for Obama in such a scenario.

Think this scenario can't happen?? I say, it still 'ain't over til it's over', and at this point I would not guarantee anything. While she is a quitter, her sense of entitlement knows no bounds. She may indeed have the coronation she has long been dreaming of. In the America of today, where stupidity is glorified, anger is elevated, up is down, and evil is good, anything, absolutely anything, is possible.

    Wish I were wrong.

Is it possibile that a person as mentally unstable as Sarah Palin could have risen to a position of power WITHOUT having committed a serious crime or indiscretion? NO!!!

Look at Sarah Palin's history going back to mayor of Wasilla. She has always skirted the law. She has always sabotaged both friends and foes.

I have no doubt there is an "iceberg", G. And I feel certain that eventually Sarah Palin will annoy the people protecting her enough so the iceberg will be unleashed.

We know that several people are in possession of the un-redacted e-mails from the Palin governorship.
It's not a case of whether Palin attempts to seize power through a political candidacy. It's really how quickly Palin will destroy herself.

Faking her pregnancy is just a symptom of much deeper problems. Sarah Palin is not intelligent enough to keep all the ducks lined up and shut up. She's too stupid to even notice that the trail of broken friendships she's left behind will melt into a river of retribution.

Sarah Palin is missing from news cycle after news cycle. She can no longer command media attention. That is certain to entice her into behavior that in the end will just make her situation worse.

I think it's sometimes called "karma".

    ReplyDelete
  17. hedgewytch8:27 AM

And that is the ONLY reason I'd like to see Palin throw caution to the wind and declare that she wants to get back on the political bandwagon.

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see the cockroaches come out of hiding. And not just for pure vindictiveness (though there is that) but because she and her enablers have broken the law, bent our State Constitution and behaved as unethically and immorally as they could get away with. And I don't want them to be able to get away with it. I want justice for all the people that the Palin's have hurt. And I want all those who have done the Palin's dirty work (and who are still at it) be exposed to the light of day.

Think Santa might be interested in preparing that gift for us?

For those saying what did she do?? I have this short list which I'm sure is only the tip of the iceberg.

    1. Dairy Gate
    2. Baby Gate
    3. Misuse of Governmental office.
    4. Allowing non-government officials or non-gov employees into negotiations between fossil fuel companies and to handle Gov office business.
    5. Trooper gate
    6. Wasilla Sports Complex
    7. Improper firing of state employees.
    8. Use of state employee time, vehicles and other property for personal reasons.
    9. Misuse of per diem/travel funds for personal use.
    10. Improper use of state funds for personal use and political fundraising.

It seems to be the tendency for incoming politicians to give outgoing ones the pass. They would rather just quietly sweep everything under the rug and send the offender off with an early retirement package and a "be sure to hush now" in order to save the "State" embarrassing legal issues which could potentially drag out to election time. We must keep in mind what has been in the news this week with an incredibly popular University President loosing his job because he covered up the actions of one of his employees. Now look at the collateral damage.

Alaska does itself no favors by behaving similarly and ignoring or hiding these actions by a former government official.

Alot of journalists probably are sorry Palin isn't in this when she was in the news all the time. They didn't have to work so hard. She was an easy story because she served herself up all the time trying to stay in the news. Now, like journalists are supposed to do, they have to work and dig for stories with Palin out.

He is not respected by intelligent, decent people and his family is considered white trash by considerate Alaskans. This is all fact.

I also think it's frightening that so many people concern themselves with a woman who holds no real power over national/international matters. Sean Parnell is proving he is more of a threat to Alaskans and this admin and current national leaders are threats to Americans freedoms.

It's called PRIORITIES. Determine them people. Exposing Sarah Palin will change NOTHING about the country. Why would you think it would? Corruption and irrational hate in politics have existed since the beginning. What makes you even think Sarah affected anything that's happened in recent times? We live in a significantly less violent world, with no guillotine, authorized public floggings or burnings.

PRIORITIES. Political parties have evolved over time. The DEM and REP parties are basically interchangeable and have switched platforms throughout history.

It's not shocking if a third party forms. HISTORY.

I think it's entertaining that Jesse, an Alaskan, doesn't report on his current govt's actions, and continues to discuss a former governor who has no hand in AK govt any longer.

All the above and everybody knows Sarah Palin has mental problems besides being retarded and ignorant. Palin did not know how to tie her shoes as governor. What happened after she quit was that she took SarahPac money and instead of using it for others like she said she would, she spent a ton of money on advisors who had to educate her. Basically it was like McCain had to do for her, teach her things about America, what's a country and a continent.

Palin is very happy she found a way out of her scam of running for POTUS, she milked those ignorant people for all the money she could get from them.

Palin is not going back into that arena, there is no way she can debate anybody. She can't even home school Willow or her other retards.

Yes, the smell of desperation can be overwhelming. The Sea of Pee folks must indeed be desperate if they think Palin has even a snowball's chance of winning any political office ever again. Aside from the fact that Palin was beginning to wear thin even with previous supporters, I figured that something major was lurking in her background ready to spring into public notice if she decided to run. That's not even taking into account that the GOP establishment wants Willard Romney to win the party's nomination and most likely didn't have any interest in supporting a Palin candidacy.

  53. Just to put this in perspective, remember that after the Ted Stevens debacle, that Alaska's FBI was essentially gutted. We lost like 40 agents, and the guys at the top felt really burned by what happened, even though it really was NOT their fault. (There are many who felt that the prosecutors who were called in purposefully sabotaged the case.)

But anyhow since then the Feds are extremely hesitant to go after cases in Alaska right now.

In my opinion they have one of the strongest cases possible against Ben Stevens yet refuse to pull the trigger, and don't even get me started on Don Young, who may be one of the dirtiest politicians in Alaska history.

If they will not continue to build the cases against THOSE two then why would we expect them to go after an ex-half term Governor, and full term joke, like Sarah Palin?

And besides the legal aspect of this, there were also people who essentially assured me that if Palin declared for President they would feel obligated to spill their guts publicly about babygate. But since she dropped out, I cannot even get a returned e-mail from these people.

So yes I know it is frustrating, but take solace in the fact that she will NEVER be a political threat in this country again. Which was essentially the point of this post.

Holy hotcakes, the trolls are out in full force today and trying to deflect any and every fact about Sarah's miserable existence. As always they like to drag in our illustrious president with talking points ad nauseum. It's always very telling that Gryphen is exactly right on when they come out in the droves that they do. These trolls sound a little more intelligent, but are woefully misinformed and ignorant of reality, which is par for the course with her sycophants. Still, that they are posting and posting their defense of their queen, simply underlines the accuracy of Gryphen's post. Sucks for them, huh? They think they are helping their queen, but in fact they are simply EMPHASIZING the truth.

    Ask "Herb" Cain.

Sarah still has to pay out hush money to people who were in her inner circle. Now Sarah uses Bristol when she goes places. Sarah just pays Bristol with SarahPac money and does not have to worry about paying Bristol hush money.

Right, because the Palins never judge people they know nothing about... Oh, wait.

It is inaccurate to say we "know nothing" about Bri$tol.

Bri$tol has spoken openly about her private life, and "written" a book (which means we get to judge her), so we do know some things about her. From what I do know about her, she is a skank who snuck out, got drunk, and put out in a tent. Oh, and she's spoiled, mean, and vindictive, like her mother.

THAT is the question. Sarah is a little kitten in a big bad world of political lions. And considering others were actually in charge, it's not even on her now is it?

"You, like legit media, STILL refuse to discuss actual democrat scandals and lies. WHY?"

Why? You damn fool, because this is a progressive, liberal blog. The plentiful supply of conservative, teabagger, Republican scandals provides plenty of material for this blog.

Start your own blog if you want to discuss alleged Democratic wrong-doing.

Cain does have "actual" scandals. Years ago, after a complete investigation, the NRA decided to settle with two different women for a full year's salary in regard to Cain's sexual harassment of them.

Another scandal is his high-level involvement with the energy company that paid its executives millions in bonuses while employee pensions were gutted.

Another scandal, of course, is his arrogance in deciding that he was qualified to run for President despite being completely, totally ignorant in foreign affairs and economic policy.

And your "little kitten" has a foul and vicious mouth on her and does not hesitate to praise corrupt officials like Rick Scott who was convicted of massive Medicare fraud.

Gryphen, I have my own secret theory about the Ted Stevens trial. Yes, he was found guilty. Then, it was declared a mistrial because the prosecutors made mistakes, big fat mistakes. That was the crooked Bush (in)justice department, stocked with graduates from Liberty University, likely to do Karl Rove's bidding. Conclusion: I think that the prosecutors fumbled on purpose, throwing the game. They knew that Stevens had to be found guilty. No one "borrows" a fancy recliner for 7 or 8 years. But, they found a way to save his ass (and maybe a little dignity) in return for years of loyal service.

Bristol, you have to stop insulting Levi, who thinks that he is Tripp's father. He's the one that Sarah chose to put on public display during the 2008 convention, and since then, the courts has ruled that the parents of that little boy should not disparage each other in public. (I'm sorry. That's too big a word for you. The courts said that you could not call Levi nasty names in public). Stop it, and grow up.

As for anyone dreaming that Sarah could jump into the marathon from the sidelines, well, it didn't turn out so well in Iowa, did it?
Sarah has no campaign staff. Never did. She is not organized. Todd does her scheduling. Piper is her bodyguard. Deadlines have already past for filing petitions to run in some primaries. All September, while Palin was playing "Will she or won't she" the truth of the matter is that she couldn't She had been shut down by Roger Ailes earlier that year for not following orders.

Yeah, Gryphen, I hear you. The Ted Steven's case played out exactly as I said it would. With a huge bruhaha, deflection of actual wrong doing onto prosecutors, and Uncle Ted never saw one day in jail and Benny-boy is protected for the foreseeable future.

I know that Ted called in his chips on that one. And he had a lot of chips to call. But it still the real question(s) in this still remains. Who payed who? Who threatened who? And how far up the federal chain did it actually go?

As for Sarah jumping in at the last minute, this is what I fear. She swoops in at the end, when it's too late for the press to vet her and she gets to skip all the debates that would show her up as the hopeless idiot she is.

To Anonymous 8:27...There is a lot of dirt and money laundering involved with Dairygate.
Why do you think that over 300 of Sarah's emails with "Mat Maid Dairy" in the subject line were TOTALLY redacted? Lots to hide.

Just recently Franci Havemeister (high school buddy of Sarah's, who was appointed Director of Agriculture because of her "love of cows") made sure that her father in law, Bob Havemeister got $500,000 to start his own dairy processing plant. Sarah's fully funded dairy, Matanuska Creamery is failing and owes over a million $$$ in payables. Of course there is no "conflict of interest". Franci lives on the Bob Havemeister property. Bob was Sarah's childhood babysitter.

So, now the valley has Sarah's failing dairy and is plowing more money into this Havemeister boondoggle.

The only reason Sarah's dairy has held on this long has been because of continued "loans" and grants..State and Federal.

The Sean Parnell administration continues the coverup. Word on the street is that there is a USDA investigation going on right now due to misappropriation of funds.

    Dairygate is real.

Has she 'grown tremendously' since running for VP? Has she ever exhibited, displayed or proven her grasp of domestic and foreign issues since she didn't blink at being handed an opportunity to go after the top job of the world three years ago without any qualifications or fitness to lead whatsoever?

Has she EVER gotten back to Couric about financial regulations and reforms maverick McCain constructed in his storied career in the U.S. Senate? Come on, she was reading O'Biden's Senate floor speeches since she was in middle-school, of course she knows McCain's record like her own.

Which is why Margaret Thatcher's crew didn't want $arah Palin anywhere near her. The Palins are considered white trash, too. This is all fact.

    2. $arah Palin isn't going anywhere. She is still giving speeches, around the country, and in other countries, pretending to represent the U.S., and acting as if she does have power over national and international affairs. $arah Palin, and people like her are a threat to America, and it's freedoms, because they want to rob the working-class, and take the country backwards. The current administration is no threat to America. The president is trying to clean up YOUR party's mess, remember?

    3. Exposing $arah Palin might make her go away once and for all, and then maybe she would stop trying to influence things. $arah Palin has had a very negative affect on the country's psyche in recent times. People like her use fear to turn people against "the other," and it's easier to do during a bad economy. Do you know how many people there are in the world? This blog is not it. Whatever she has done and/or illegally committed should not ethically hold on to it just in order to keep her at bay. Why is she not justly prosecuted in a court of law, as is the normal proceedure when there is supposedly one or more dark "secrets"? Why the suspense and intrigue to allow her respite from whatever is looming? What is the reasoning? If she broke the law, then take her to court. This "special treatment" is offensive. It is more like power-tripping by holders of "The Deep, Dark Secrets" of this trash called Sarah Palin.

The questions "Does Palin have a chance" and "might Palin still run" are two separate questions that really have nothing to do with one another.

The answer to the first is easy: HELL NO! Palin NEVER really had a chance. Once she opened her piehole, her numbers began to go down and never went up again. From her initial appearance on the national stage, too many people recognized that she was an imbecilic clod.

The answer to the second one is not such a slam dunk. IF we were talking about a normal person, with a reasonable grasp of reality, the answer would be "NO." However, we are most definitely NOT talking about a normal person. We are talking about the hopelessly vain, moronic clod who thought (still?) that Africa was/is a country. She is thicker than shit. She still believes that God himself is readying the White House for her, as you read these words. She buys into all that dominionist bullshit and just KNOWS that she will lead the Army of God against the forces of Satan - i.e., liberals, gays, lesbians, blacks, Hispanics, teachers, union members, professors, artists, musicians, actors, dancers, the "lamestream media", and whoever the hell else she is paranoid about.

She ain't right in the head. She believes humans rode dinosaurs. She is stupid beyond measure.

It is the judgement of the idiot above that answers the second question. Is she dumb enough to believe she should still run?

    You betcha'!

Just my take and simplified. She is toast now, but when the "story" finally gets out, and it will in some form and like H.Cain, it may take a few years, but it will be out, she'll be BURT toast!

Have some of these so-called journalists gone brain dead? How can any journalist worthy of the name even consider the lame-brained, empty husk that is Sarah Palin as a viable candidate for the presidency? Did they not watch her mental meltdown during the only real interviews she ever experienced, with Charlie Gibson and Katie Couric? Or do they just yearn for the dirty excitement of a Sarah Palin run? If the latter, then me too. Herman Cain's exposure will seem like small potatoes compared to all the shit that would hit the fan with a Palin run. Bring it!

Gryphen you just crack me up.

I agree about Sarah returning to her grifting; let's face it, the woman has to keep making the ole benjamins somehow. I'm very intrigued by the iceberg talk, needless to say. Hmmm. Wonder if it has anything to do with Todd's extra-curricular activities.

I wouldn't be surprised if someone like The Donald might not jump back in with lessons learned from his last attempt. Or what about Bloomberg? Or Clint Eastwood - argh! Probably too old and still making movies. Jerk.

Just wait, they need SOMEONE other than this pack of fools they have now. Or, could we even imagine it, might they decide to just let Obama be re-elected and then plan on being obstructionist, etc, in preparation for 2016?

You just never know what the GOP will do as it has become the party of marginal intelligence. Repubs have devolved to the lowest of the lowest and don’t appear to have the ability to recognize how derelict they have become. William F. Buckley and Eisenhower would be horrified by the party’s offering this election cycle and they would be branded “elites” and dismissed. Any appearance of intelligence sends present-day Repubs to a new conspiracy that upends rational thought.

Keep telling yourself that, but: REPUBLICANS CONTROL THE MEDIA, not democrats. It's not the democrats' fault all the republican candidates are clowns. Nothing will change as long as rich, republcian assholes control everything. Go ahead and pout about your trivial media/"democrat party" love affair crap. You are still wrong.

"So you can call GOP out for all the stupid, trivial crap you want. It doesn't make you admirable."

Sexual harassment allegations (Herman Cain) are not "trivial." You are a typical G.O.P. knuckle-dragger. Asses like you and $arah Palin don't make republicans anymore admirable.

"FAIRNESS. There are no innocent, selfless politicians."

FAIRNESS MY ASS. "Fairness" as in the way you only come here to whine that republicans are being unfairly attacked, only to attack democrats at the same time? Hypocrite. There are no innocent, selfless politicians, just as much as there are no innocent selfless Palins.

First of all, I agree with Rick @ 10:25 am, if there is criminal activity being hidden, I think you have a civic duty to expose it. Using secrets to bully someone into behaving they way you want is immoral in itself. I don't understand, Gryph, why you think you need someone's permission to tell what you know. Unless you are threatened physically, what is holding you back? Let it out and let the chips fall where they may. (Someone referenced the fiasco at Penn State, and I would agree that this is similar; no protection for the secret-keepers is justified).

Second, the scenario that Anon @8:23 proposes is all too plausible. $P wouldn't have to worry about intra-party debates or primary campaign organizations if she was tapped at the last minute at the convention, or just prior. Then the media would be too cowed by the lopsided race to investigate any "iceberg" that was suddenly exposed.

This "secret" needs to be revealed sooner rather than later, or a lot of people, including Gryphen, will lose credibility.

I've read and contributed here for a long time, and I appreciate the way that Jesse has held $P's feet to the fire and not given up on the baby hoax, but covering up criminal activity is NOT acceptable. Please reconsider your position.

Palin would be crucified by the media with all the garbage she has in her background should she decide to stick her nose out there again.

I honestly don't think she'd be able to do it. She's told so many lies - and lie upon lie - she'd be tripped up constantly...she'd be as bad as Perry from TX. And, that is pretty damned bad!

Let Penn State be a lesson to you Gryphen-by keeping secrets you are contributing to the crime. Who knows how many innocent children are being hurt by the cover up? We know Trig is for sure...Tripp is being kept from half his (alleged) family, and no one goes to school.

If these secrets are as bad as you allude to, they will come out eventually. Choose the right path now.

  125. Articles like that, and having the idea repeated all over the blogosphere (ahem) will just give SP a reason to renew The Tease, thus get back into the news, regain the spotlight, become relevant again (not really, but seeming so).

Our only hope is that, since she doesn't read anything but People, she might not come across it and hopefully she's alienated everyone so no one will mention it to her. Oh darn, forgot about the See of Pee...

  128. To those who suggest that "...if Palin jumped into the race at the last minute, she would not be vetted..."

There are plenty of people who know the truth about Palin's deeds-- some info has seeped out to the masses, some remains with the puppet masters. She has been under a microscope, just not a public one.

Please don't forget, for example, that as soon as SP was nominated in late Aug.'08, two separate bloggers posted articles with the truth about babygate.

There was ARC XIX at DailyKos:

    http://bellaciao.org/en/spip.php?article17293

    There was Cajunboy:

    http://cajunboyinthecity.blogspot.com/2008/09/im-sorry-feel-from-to-call-me-crazy-but.html

They each had the whole story.
This tells me that opposition research, both by Dems and by McCain's GOP opponents was well underway.

You can be sure that plenty of the
"important" people already have the dope on Palin. It's just that WE THE PEOPLE don't have it!!!

That's why some of us keep exploring the issues like babygate and other gates.

I look forward to hearing more from IM about this. For the last few years, IM has been on target regarding Babygate, Divorce or Faux marriage, Multiple baby Trigs and (Unknown Scandal)Iceberg leading to SP's precipitous resignation.

Sooner or later, this information will see the light of day.

  129. Okay everybody let's cool the hyperbole and talk reality shall we?

First all of you must know that if I could actually get Palin sent to jail by telling what I know on this blog, I would do it in a heartbeat, regardless of what it might do to me. But that is not the case.

What I know in many cases is only a portion of the entire story. I don't know all of the dates, or participants, and blogging about it would do no more than put my sources at risk of losing their jobs or worse.

On the criminal side much of what I know is already known by people who have the power to actually do something about it, but I have no way to compel them to do so. By revealing any information I might have stumbled onto I would do nothing more than put any future investigation at risk, and signal to the Palins exactly where they needed to focus on hiding the evidence.

Like I said, if she were to declare that would change everything, but right now she is a private citizen. So on the more personal side of the information how do I tell somebody with a family to support, to sacrifice their job and their future in their community because there are a bunch of strangers on blog who demand to hear their story?

The only way I was able to convince them to talk in the first place was out of a sense of patriotism and concern for the future of their children. Palin no longer poses that kind of threat, so these people have returned to living their lives.

Believe me there are things that I want to know more about as well, but I am making peace with the notion that I will probably never hear the entire story.

The babygate book IS still coming, so don't think that we have heard everything about the Palin secrets just yet. But beyond that I don't know how much more we will be made available for public consumption.

  130. Anonymous2:47 PM

Really? After all this you're just going to say that you 'know some things' but I'm not gonna spill cause it isn't necessary anymore?

With all due respect, I think that is a huge slap in the face to all of those (including me) who have faithfully followed this blog for years. While it's true that you don't owe us anything, never have ,never will, it cannot be denied that you have led your faithful readers to believe that you would finally deliver on the 'iceberg' that would finally expose Sarah for who she is. I agree with others here who have said that if you have knowledge that Sarah broke the law than you have a civic obligation to reveal what you know so that the public (and perhaps law enforcement) can be the judge of that information.

Yes, yes, I know probably as well as anyone else that you have sacrificed much of your life to see that information on babygate and other scandals have come out and I truly, sincerely thank you for that. But you risk you and your site's credibility by teasing us that you know info that we will never know because Sarah won't run.

It comes down to this: If the information you know is so huge that it would put Sarah behind bars for years, it should be revealed, period. If it is not that important, you should not have even bothered telling us about it and kept it private. Doing so serves to only taunt and frustrate those who have been waiting for your much vaunted 'iceberg' that you have more or less promised over these years. It is that simple.

    Thank you.

Of course they did, it's in their job description and when they aren't sabotaging they are making up false evidence. Your level of wealth and power determine which you get. I wonder what the "many" have to say about the Ted Stevens plane crash. A suicide and a plane crash, how convenient. Anonymous@9:19am - Perhaps there wasn't enough in Joe McGinniss' expose on Sarah Palin to stop her from running for the Presidency, but I bet there were lots of new leads and information for those looking into her scandals to continue their investigations into her and Todd and Friends.

I would bet there is a lot that will be coming out. Is that why they are so quiet now? And while there was no final "smoking gun" that would prevent a run for office - there was all the information the voters of this country needed to know on who that woman and her husband really are - more than enough to cause her plummeting ratings to sink even faster. She can fake run if she wants but she won't win, and really, that's all that matters.

Thanks to Joe and the tireless bloggers the whole world knows what her character is, and nobody but her tiny bunch of cretins would vote for her - there's a stench about her she just can't shake - kind of like her pal Herman Cain.

And BTW - Shailey Tripp's blog is getting a lot of hateful, even some threatening comments around Shailey's struggle to get her property back - the cellphone and the computer.

Sarah and her inner circle, and Todd and his Friends in high places are really swarming here and at
Shailey's blog - must be something incriminating they don't want to be exposed that are on those items, and they know it's coming out very soon! Once these investigations get going - well, there's no stopping them - so please 9:19am, go consult with your legal team - I think you're going to need them.

This is not hyperbole. What did Joe Paterno do that was so bad? His was a crime of omission. He didn't take enough steps to make sure that criminal acts weren't repeated, that there would be no more victims, that current victims wouldn't suffer more. He left a known criminal free to keep victimizing innocents. What is happening her amounts to the same thing. The Palins are still free to grift in any way they can. They still have credibility with many. Sarah can still call people she doesn't like child molesters. She can still shape the lies of the right (Obamacare is murder, Obama pals around with terrorists, Christians should rule America) because she still has credibility.

The people who have knowledge of her lies and illegal acts that won't come forward because it might be inconvenient for them can shove it. They are as guilty as Joe Paterno. And if as you say there are people in power who have the information and they aren't acting on it, they need to be exposed, because they are acting criminally.

The truth shall set you free!

    I hazard two guesses:
    1) The iceberg has something to do with Hookergate, which might have something to do with Babygate, specifically the circumstances of Trig's conception, and maybe other babies presented as Trig and/or Tripp;
    2) The trolls who are out in force are individuals, maybe just one, who can't stand the fact that Palin will never again get close to a place on the national stage. Poor trolls. Poor pitiful trolls.

Assuming the matter is fraud or RICO type criminal acts - looks like she is good to go at 5 years. Granted the press would be merciless regardless of statute of limitations (or maybe not). But, she wouldn't face trial or go to jail.

Assuming she quit her criminal acts upon her resignation, then she would be good to go as of July 2014. Gee, just in time for what?????

I a;ways love these Sarah posts because they bring in all the crazy troll comments, which makes me think you are definately onto something.
What's even more entertaining, is their lack of embarrassment at showing their true ignorance.

The comments on the link are a must read. The dillusional idiots "left behind" by Sarah are begging on bended knee for their Queen to jump in the last minute and be their Savior. Total laugh riot, and proof that No Child Left Behind has failed miserably.

they speak of fairness, beauty, brains, and political saavy in reference to the Fraud Grifter, as if saying it makes it true. The media being run by democrats, and harmonic convergence being the only things holding her back.

We all know she's a liar, a fake Christian, money hungry, egomaniacal, highly overrated and grossly ignorant in world matters, and yet these fools still hold out hope she'll run?

Joe's book made her stfu, Fred's book will keep her there, and once you get your ducks in a row, she'll be done for good as far as politics goes.

Take your time, Gryphen, she's a coward and can't possibly run because Perry and Cain and the gang make her look like a genius.

Besides, they're only choosing who gets the honor to lose to President Obama. We've all seen how that match up worked in the past.
