Illinos Congressman, and deadbeat dad, Joe Walsh comes unhinged with his constituents.

Not only does this asshole throw a tantrum like a petulant child, he is completely wrong!

Walsh is essentially pissed of that the people in this room, his own constituents, have a better handle on what caused the banking crisis than he does.

If this guy represented my district in Congress  I would be red faced with embarrassment.  But on the other hand I would be extremely proud of how my fellow Illinois residents handled a clearly out of control megalomaniac.

It is actually too bad this video does not capture the first part of the conversation, which I saw someplace else earlier, where the lady who suggests that Walsh get a cup of decaf, totally schools him on what really caused the problems we are facing today. I think that is what essentially inspired his irrational tirade.

The teabagger assholes believe their own press and are only in office because people were not paying attention. But now we are damnit. It's like palin calling union members her brothers and sisters while trying to convince them to vote against their own best interest.

Yeah, that's certainly the way to win the hearts and minds of your constituents. Try and browbeat them and shout them down.

Just who the fuck does this asshole think he is telling someone to "be quiet or I'll ask you to leave?" It ain't his bar. He has no right to ask ANYBODY to leave.

Walsh is making a SERIOUS bid for the "Biggest Prick in the History of Congress" award. One more performance like this and he'll have it in the bag.

I'm guessing Walsh will get his nuts handed to him on a plate next year. I suspect his constituents will open THE largest can of electoral WHOOP-ASS that any member of the House has ever seen.

I couldn't get past 60 seconds of that creep. I hope that his constituents send him home from Washington in 2012. He clearly does not have a clue about anything. For Republicans the only problem is the federal government but they sure want to be part of it - not to do any work for the American people but to grift as much as they can. In my eyes, they are all worthless.

Video Captures Tea Party Congressman Joe Walsh Ranting, Raving, Screaming In Lady’s Face

Man, some Americans are so stupid, right! They just keep trying to blame the poor, poor banks and corporations for, y’know, stealing everyone’s money and ruining the economy! Fortunately, there are people out there who can talk some sense into these people. However, by “talk some sense” I, of course, mean “scream at them like an absolute lunatic” which is what Illinois Congressman Joe Walsh does in a video posted today to YouTube. In it, Walsh runs around a town hall in an Uno restaurant ranting and raving about people being too dumb to listen.

God, Joe. I feel ya. It must be so annoying when jerky people just refuse to listen to what you have to say.

The whole thing is a pretty embarrassing display. Our favorite moment is when he gets up in some lady’s face and she tries to stifle laughter while asking him to stop screaming at her. Classy!

A couple months ago, Walsh was quoted as saying that the media will do anything they can to protect President Obama because he’s black. After this damning piece of footage, Walsh will have to hope that the media finds some reason to protect him. Hmmm…maybe they’ll protect him because he’s a good father.

    Oh, wait…

Neil Cavuto Suggests To Rep. Joe Walsh That He Switch From Coffee To Prozac After Video Tirade

A video of Illinois Congressman Joe Walsh yelling at constituents went viral today. In it, Walsh is seen screaming and getting in the face of regular people after they suggested some more regulation might be needed to watch over banks and corporations. This afternoon, Walsh went on to Your World to offer an explanation on his odd behavior. Apparently he had “made the mistake of doing [the town hall] on an empty stomach with a little too much coffee.” I see.

Neil Cavuto then suggested that maybe he should switch from coffee to Prozac. Zing!

Don't forget what Joe Walsh said about why President Obama was elected.

    www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/politics/2011/05/what_did_he_just_say.single.html

"Look," he says, "I don't think this is complicated. He doesn't really have a history. I say all of this respectfully—he is the least well-known guy we have ever put in the presidency, and there's no one even close. He's probably got easily the lightest résumé of anybody we've elected."

Walsh leans forward and taps me on the knee with a bumper sticker.

"Why was he elected? Again, it comes back to who he was. He was black, he was historic. And there's nothing racist about this. It is what it is. If he had been a dynamic, white, state senator elected to Congress he wouldn't have gotten in the game this fast. This is what made him different. That, combined with the fact that your profession"—another friendly tap of the bumper sticker—"not you, but your profession, was just absolutely compliant. They made up their minds early that they were in love with him. They were in love with him because they thought he was a good liberal guy and they were in love with him because he pushed that magical button: a black man who was articulate, liberal, the whole white guilt, all of that."

You know what's really disgusting? After his big defeat next year, Joe will just become a bank lobbyist, earn about 3 times as much as he ever earned in congress, and never have to earn money for re-election again – he'll be 'set for life'. Yeah, that's what REALLY stinks about this system: you can't just get people like this off the gravy train: they always pop up elsewhere, with an even bigger schtick, and take home even more money.

I sat in amazement and watched as he berated and belittled people who he should realize were voters.

I really admired that woman for keeping her cool and not backing down one bit. She clearly was so superior to him intellectually..she knew what she was talking about. He, on the other hand, was absolutely clueless. And like most really stupid people (Sarah, I mean you) think if they talk really loud and throw out a bunch of words, they will dazzle people so much, they won't realize they are stupid.

I really loved that he threatened to throw the guy out of the restaurant. What a pompous idiot!

Rep. Joe Walsh (R-IL), whose ex-wife says he owes $117,437 in back child support, was honored by the Family Research Council Action on Thursday for his “unwavering support of the family,” the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

“We thank Cong. Walsh who has voted consistently to defend faith, family and freedom,” FRCA President Tony Perkins said. “Cong. Walsh and other ‘True Blue Members’ have voted to repeal Obamacare, de-fund Planned Parenthood, end government funding for abortion within the health care law, uphold the Defense of Marriage Act, and continue support for school choice. I applaud their commitment to uphold the institutions of marriage and family.”

This guy has a real issue with control. Self control. He calls it 'passionate', but it's really just being impulsively irresponsible, clearly abusive and disrespectful at the least, threatening and intimidating with full intent to be so, at the worst. There is no question in my mind that pushed hard enough, this guy would belt a woman in a heartbeat. What I find odd in the video is that the men were mostly silent for a good part of the exchanges and let the woman do most of the talking. I found that most curious.

Also, when Joe did get all out of control, no one that was sitting in the bar told him to tone it down, or sought to reel him in. Had I been there, I would have felt compelled to do so in a respectful, but firm way. Even the bartenders didn't react. I'm wondering if they already know him as a 'hot head' kind of guy, so this behaviour isn't new and is expected as a norm with him.

This also applies to the occupants of the House of Representatives, except they dress better and have tans.

Joe Walsh's walk-back statement shows he is oblivious to his abusive attitude. That tells me this is likely persistent behavior. Somewhere there is at least one woman with a lively tale to tell of Joe's problem.

Too bad Joe isn't running for president. He'd receive the vetting he deserves. Mainstream media was pathetic on exposing mentally unstable Sarah Palin. But this Joe the Jerk doesn't have the sex appeal to render mainstream media inert.

I thought Joe Walsh's contempt for the woman he was shouting at, advancing on and shoving his finger in her face were so unexpected that people were shocked and didn't know what to do. The two guys behind him at the bar looked really uncomfortable and not sure really if they should say something.

How much you wanna bet that Joe's been doin' a little too much blow lately. He was hostile from the git go - and speaking of free speech - he didn't let anyone say anything - and threatened to make them leave the bar if they did.

Can you imagine how Joe Walsh is in private, if he is that hostile in public, he's a walking powder keg. I wouldn't be surprised if we hear about emotional and physical abuse of his ex-wife and children, and his new girlfriend, she should think twice.

He didn't even know the people in the bar and he was emotionally abusive - and his body language was very aggressive. That woman should not have had to back up (a protective instinct) nor had to tell him to stop yelling at her.

The media should have interviewed the people in the bar about Joe Walsh's behavior - I think they were just stunned. This is another guy that could do with some shouting down, since he engages in it so often himself.
