There is a storm brewing for Fox News this weekend. Time to batten down the hatches Rupert.

I have to say that I am pretty jazzed about this.

If these folks can bring down Fox News they will go down in history as American patriots.

By the way, is anybody else planning to celebrate the fifth by watching "V for Vendetta?"

  1. It's just the FOX News websites and those individuals' online presences Anonymous is talking about, yes?

It doesn't seem the Fox TV can be affected by hackers, but I may be wrong. Maybe their communications interfered with or something.

Whatever, it's going to be fascinating to watch.

  2. Woohoo! I hope they can do it.

And, yes. I'll be watching V4V this weekend. Husband and I do that every year. One of my favorite movies.

I'm very interested to see how this goes.

Remember remember the fifth of November
    Gunpowder, treason and plot.
I see no reason why gunpowder, treason
    Should ever be forgot...

  6. "We do not forgive?" this is not the way to bring the country together [not that I think it can be, now that the right-wingers have become a god-based cult].

  8. While on the one hand I don't like anything that smacks of anarchism, it is hard not to cheer them on when they keep picking such great targets. As long as they continue to just mess with these targets online, causing them a lot of hassle mostly, and don't advance to doing anything that could endanger or injure somebody, I will continue to just watch it play out.

I'm confused here. The voice in the video told LISTENERS to do it. Flood the websites, crash the servers etc. Nowhere did I hear that Anonymous was going to do it. What did I miss?

I'd LOVE to see Fox "News" website crash and burn but I'll believe it when I see it.
    Nov.5th?
    That's tomorrow!
I'll be watching and waiting and hoping...

Awhile back, people were trying to get the message out to boycott Fox News advertisers. Hard to make a dent without a few million people participating. But, we could revisit that strategy?

  12. How appropriate to bring Fox down with hacking.

It just occurred to me that Anonymous and OWS are the kind of heros people root for in the movies.

    Saw this.

    www.rawstory.com/rs/2011/11/03/news-of-the-world-phone-hack-scandal-claimed-5800-victims/

"LONDON — Almost 5,800 victims are now thought to have been targeted in the phone-hacking scandal at the now defunct News of the World tabloid, police said Thursday.

Officers from Operation Weeting, the body set up to investigate the affair, believe that 5,795 people may have had their voicemail messages intercepted, almost 2,000 more than the previous figure of 3,870 given at a government committee meeting in July"

Rupert Murdoch owned News of the World when this hacking was done.

One can only hope the Anonymous-Operation Fox Hunt works...sad I didn't hear Sarah Palin's Name on the list, I think Anonymous could dig up a little of that baby gate for us.

  18. I took an elderly neighbor in to her local credit union last week to get started on getting out of B of A. The woman at the new accounts desk begged us not to bring the paperwork back on November 5th because she's worried about being swamped with new accounts. We're going back on Monday.

I hope they go after Bachmann and Palin next. To take down C4P would be a masterstroke.

Palin has attacked OWS more than once now. She has earned target status.
If they just disrupted her blackberries for an hour she'd have a nervous breakdown.

Just a bit O/T, but still Faux-related, Herman Cain appeared on Greta and, believe it or not, he just doesn't 'recall'.

Ooh aah eee - it's hard not to see Fox as MasterBait for Anonymous and the NotSoAnonymous to jerk around with.

Since poor little Sarah & Bristle called breaking into an unethical email account by guessing the moron's passwords hacking, then I'll just have to think of Anonymous as jacking. Game on!

Oooh I hope the Perils blog has Anonymous hiding backstage!

People of this blog, there is an unseen force at work here. They are not from our planet. Laugh if you will, but do you really think you are ALONE in the universe. This planet has been quarantined until this time. There are cosmic energies at play. If you don't believe me, check for yourself. That little thing you call global warming isn't global warming it solar system warming. Research what happening to all of the neighboring planets and you will notice all of them changing. There has been a recent discovery from the SUN. An unidentified particle is coming to your planet an changing all matter. Are you considered matter?

Just a taste - the series is priceless, destined to be a cult classic.

Yes I'll be watching "V", and I do hope they succeed.

Still don't believe it was hackers who put the fake assassination of President Obama, for that reason, alone, I condone and support this cause.
I'm not ususally a fan of vengeance and vendetta, it's kind of opening a can of worms and bound to be used as a "Victim" meme for the faithful kook aid drinkers, and kook isn't a typo.

Those people are vile, but is it worth the bad karma? In this case, not just "Yes" but "Hell Yes"

Did you see Boehner's "Our focus is jobs, not some random person's personality" bull shit? The man is a coward and a buffoon of the lowest order.
