This is just NEVER going to get old.

I never really thought Perry had too much of a chance, but I have to believe that after all of THIS that there is a fork sticking out of him somewhere. Because ladies and gentlemen, he is DONE!

I loved George Takei's tweet about Perry and the Brokeback jacket. Perry just can't quit them.

O/T - Everyone should read the post that Phil has up about the post office on Progressive Alaska. CALL YOUR REPS NOW. They (the head of the post office and the right wing nuts like Issa) are gutting the post office. Do you trust your absentee ballots to be delivered by UPS or FedEx?

ISSA needs to be watched BIG TIME in Congress. The guy has a horrible record and has one huge ego. I think they are doing nothing more than 'manipulating the problems w/the Post Office'. I don't believe it is in the trouble they are trying to project.

It feels much like the SS issue - the account is NOT in trouble even though our current Congress tries to project that it is.

The Republicans in Congress are so full of shit and the majority of them need to be replaced whenever they come up for reelection.

This is one of the funniest! There's tons on youtube. This guy should just pack it in, err, quit.

He can't debate, he doesn't connect with people, and even his scripted ads are failures. Guess he's in it until the money runs out, either that or hoping Newt implodes and he's next in line to get the conservative vote. Pathetic Choices- must suck big time to be a Republican,

  7. O/T I just thought you all might be interested in this article over at HuffPo:

"Fake Pregnancy Bellies Popular In China, Online Sales Increasing, Report Says"

Of course I put my 2c worth in, but the mods might think it's too controversial ;-)

This was a brilliant take on that unbelievable stupid ad.

A word about the post office: it goes back to 2006 when the Republican majority House passed a bill declaring the postal system has to provide the funds for the next 75 years of employee pensions, NOW.

It was making a tidy PROFIT until that point, and with this absurd demand on it, went downhill and is now blamed for being a drag on the taxpayers.

That some nobody like ME knows of this, but it isn't causing a giant ruckus by those who stand to really lose out if their jobs are cut by this scheme to PRIVATIZE a service the Constitution decrees should be a government operated one, is totally amazing.

KaJo, you made it. I just went to HP & the video is right up top for all to see. Thanks!

Kajo, I also commented the following to your HP Palin video post.

May I also add that Sarah Palin might be the very reason these bellies have become so popular. She got away with using one - occasionally while she had her faux pregnancy with Trig. She'd wear the belly, forget about it & sometimes substituted a square pillow under her shirt. Their was a well orchestrated scrubbing of pictures of her after her announcement Her father "helpfully" provided the picture of her, in the video, when she actually WAS pregnant with her first child. Guess she didn't have "tight abs" then.

Why did she announce her 7mo."pregnancy" the day after McCain asked her to be the VP candidate. Everyone, including her personal aides, were SHOCKED - she showed no sign of being pregnant. Why is it that everybody jumped on Beyonce about her pregnancy, but the media wouldn't touch the story about Palin when she was running to be a hair breadth away from the Presidency? APD former reporter talked about it on-air at the RNC convention, then it was dropped like a hot potato & everyone went into cover-up mode. Joe McGuiness, in his book "The Rogue" also questions the media complicity in the cover up.

Watch the video, and follow up on the links provided. Hey Sarah, where's Trig's birth certificate? You lied & said you'd shown it - you haven't. This is only one reason she decided not to run for President. She has too many skeletons in her closet.

Anon @ 10:39, you said it perfectly in your last paragraph.

The skeletone are over-flowing her closet.

There is already a special place in Hell reserved for her, and all her lies, and all the other illegal things she has had a hand in (arson, theft, murder).

    She will burn for eternity.

    1. Too little people know even big things about Palin to purchase a belly because of her

    2. Her closest aides (in anch) DID know before march 5th about the pregnancy. These were the people who also regularly saw her children in the previous months.

    3. Remember, amongst her political opponents in juneau, people who wouldve never liked her no matter what, what they say really doesn't have bearing on anything.

    4. Its imperative non-alaskans butt out of ak govt affairs. Esp since Lisa M and Parnell are 800 times worse than Palin was on a bad day. Fact.

Everyone has off days. Everyone takes frustrations out on the closest body to them. We've read the hotheaded rants of all Presidents. We have to keep a healthy difference and not feed bias or personal hate. There's way too much projection. There are way too many ppl not living happily who feel driven to take it out on politicians who don't deserve it.

@3:02 - the Palin Fairy Tale troll is back after her vacation. Hiya "Fact." or "IDK" or whatever your linguistic tell will be today, e.g. "Applebee's," "greatest family in the world." Have you asked Sarah what she thinks of Todd's mistress? By the way, what do YOU think of Todd's mistress and his prostitution ring?

And even someone like me knows about this, because ~ two months ago ~ we had a long discussion with my deep-south-rooted-republican in-laws about these VERY circumstances revolving around the raping of the post office.

The in-laws were APPALLED when they realized the USPS was being eviscerated by the 75-year sword.

My dad, a mid-south-common-sense conservative/centrist (not necessarily a republican) was a Rural Letter Carrier for over 30 years and i know he is rolling over in his grave over the turning of a blind eye.

    Hey Gryph,

Did you see the article in Vanity Fair about Perry? In it, a conservative columnist said he believes that Perry is having a tougher time of it because people became worn out trying to defend Palin and her ignorance. They don't want to repeat that scenario.

Hilarious. So now she's helped screw it up for him too.

She's the gift that keeps on giving.
