Here is a preview of President Obama's upcoming State of the Union speech.

The President will give the full version of this speech on Tuesday, and it may prove to be a real game changer.

Maybe not quite as much as his impromptu singing, but still....

  1. Anonymous6:51 AM

I have full faith that the American people will choose Barack Obama for a 2nd term on November 6th.

Watching the Republicans self destruct over the next few months (thanks Sarah Palin!) is just an added treat.

  2. Anonymous8:05 AM

President Obama started impressing me (I voted for McCain) in 2008 while he was selecting his transition team.

I felt then, and now, that we got lucky.

    He is unbeatable.

  3. Commie Pinko! Wants fairness for all and everyone sharing responsibility. How dare he speak to the majority of people in this country. Where is his outrage over all those people on food stamps and the unemployed, lazy, unwashed masses? Has he no shame?!!

Just contrast him with Newt and Mitt. Newt is against the "elite" from New York and Washington; Mitt is all for profiteering; and Santorum wants to shrink government to fit inside a woman's uterus.

Let's give Obama the landslide he richly deserves.

  4. Anonymous8:26 AM

How can anyone say that this man does not have the country's best interests at heart or is it because they can not see anything other than what is best for them?
Sure I don't agree with everything is does but at least he is trying to do what is right. I am actually afraid that if anyone else is elected we will go to war with Iran.

    Santorum just launched C.U.M.!/Clarknt67/statuses/160980095341821952

    Can't make this stuff up.

The Republicans have a very weak field of candidates this election cycle, and they know it.

Just take a gander at who the GOP has running and representing its party and its values:

Newt "Cheater 4 Life" Gingrich. Mitt "Corporations are people too" Romney, Rick "The Blah People" Santorum, and Ron "Let's do away with big government, but I still want it big enough so I can be elected President of it" Paul.

I know, I would be crying too, if I were a Republican.

GOP re-group and get your best, brightest, and sane candidate ready for 2016!

    Obama 2012!

  7. Anonymous8:50 AM

President Obama has his priorities sorted out very well.

I'm encouraged, and frankly hope others are too, because we need that right now.

  8. Anonymous9:10 AM

I hate him I hate him I hate him!

He won't say dick to me and won't give me any either.

  9. Anonymous9:19 AM

There isn't going to be any definitive game changer. There are too many republican, independent, and democrat haters in the mix to allow anything great that Obama says to bring about the seachange.

Big business and big corporations own the American electorate. Big money has made a permanent impression on the minds of even the middle class and the poor. They have been indoctrinated into believing that they don't have a right to a piece of the pie. They have been made to believe that they can all become part of the 1% if they work hard. And it's not true. It never really was true but it's even less true now as the stepping stones to prosperity have been taken away from the middle class by the radical changes brought about by the 1% in income disparity.

I hear the lie even being perpetuated on this very forum where we come for loyalty to our cause. I hear even the most loyal exclaiming that they could support a republican candidate over Obama!

What needs to happen is you all need a good lickin from the republicans. Maybe then you'll learn something.

    luv from Canada.

  10. After the very public time-travel event that happened yesterday in South Carolina, I have no doubt, there are some people (me included) that lived thru Newt in the 90's and firmly believe reality shifted 15 or so years BACKWARDS yesterday on the east coast. But in the context of South Carolina, that seems like a minor shift..Usually it's 100 years or more.... The Queen Monkey Mama should have been there...we would have left her.

If "O" continues to produce reality roadmaps that actually look into the 21st century, he's at a very distinct advantage... If the Rethug-o-trolls keep wanting to reset the calendar back to the early 18th century - they loose...BIG.

  11. Anonymous9:32 AM

How does he have the energy!? What a great role model for us to emulate! If the American people could have a fraction of his smarts, temperament, manner, knowledge, and work ethic, the country would be in great shape.

  12. lwtjb2:44 PM

We need to give him a congress that will not try to kill everything he proposes no matter what.

  13. Anita Winecooler7:53 PM

I got this in my organizing e-mail, we're having a p-a-r-t-y watching this live! And I wouldn't mind an impromptu song or two, say "Let's Stay Together" for his supporters and "Forget You" to the Republicans.

OT. Rick Santorum was railing against newtie on Candy Crawley's show, for sitting on a couch with Nancy Pelosi.

Now I read Anonymous 8:38 and laughed my ass off. Does he run this stuff past anyone before= oh nevermind. ;o)

Newt was on EVERY main stream network's morning news show, after blasting the evil left media in his speech. Hypocrite.
