The Actual Gay Agenda.

Wow, this is quite a find! Now we can compare what "The Gays" really want to promote, and compare it to what the conservatives have always believed they were trying to accomplish.  This should prove very informative.

If this will not enlarge when clicked, you can see larger image here.
Really? So no world domination or wearing of crotchless leather pants?

And they also WANT to reelect President Obama?

Well that seems pretty reasonable.  I wonder what all of the fuss is about?

It kind of seems like the only people who would find anything wrong with their agenda are deeply closeted gay men who are terrified that their conservative friends and family will learn of their dark and shameful secret.

But that can't be it, or can it?

OT, but Gryph, please, please post this video by an extraordinary woman. It puts the Komen fiasco in such perspective. When she tells them to kiss her ass at the end, I couldn't help but applaud. Please show it...

Good morning Gryphen! And Thanks for your all you do!

But, if past is prescient, you won't get much support here.

Our little community has other things to do when the subject comes up. I know it's Saturday. I know you get fewer visitors on the wkends.

Comments will be limited, and stilted, and... well, you know. We have all seen it. Most here are not so interested in the story, or social justice, as applies to "teh gay". Mostly just crickets, and a lonely wind blowing through.

But thanks, Gryphen. Stay strong and safe.

    But thanks Gryphen.

I cleaned my house, stocked the bird feeders, ran mundane errands (getting office supplies and groceries).

For the rest of today, all I have on my gay agenda is a nap and later reading a non-gay sci-fi book. While wearing my sweatshirt and sweatpants*.

    How exciting.

    :)

    * For the so-called straight men. Sorry, no chaps. Ahem, I don't obsess about their sexuality nor sex lives. Yet it amazes me they obsess more about gay sex and gay everything than little, older, very out, gay me.

Great article in Rolling Stone about the kids fighting back in Michelle Bachmann's backyard...http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/news/one-towns-war-on-gay-teens-20120202

So much of the Rightwing agenda is cloaked in fear and hate and ignorance it makes me vomit.

  6. My youngest daughter (21) is a lesbian and i can't tell you enough how normal she is...

... and i don't think she'll send me to hell and back due to getting knocked up like my older straight daughter did.

As a questioning Christian, i cannot thank God enough for teh gay :)

  8. Yes! Gryphen, please. Please show Ms. Linda's video that Anon @9:04 brought to our attention.

Of all the stupid shit on YouTube, this ONE lady reaching out with the bare-bones truth is enough reason to justify YouTube's existence.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if Planned Parenthood received SO much funding that they could also aggressively address prostate cancer in men?!? I didn't see SEXIST written on Ms. Linda's braven chest, either.

I remember when I forced my reluctant mother to explain to me just what she and the other women from our church were gossiping about...and she tried valiantly to present the gay issue, without sounding too bigoted.

As we tend to personalize everything (its all about ME, being even more pronounced when you are 12 years old) my first thought was, "Oh WOW...great! All that does is make things a little easier for homely looking boys like me to get a girlfriend!

Now, its not that I think MY reaction is the "normal" one (well, actually I DO)--but later on, when I'd hear really hateful things being said, I wondered what the fuss was all about.

Its not like these guys have anything to be AFRAID of, do they?

    OH...wait a minute...I get it.

Gee, what an awful way to have to live your life...thinking that any minute now, you'll explode in a rainbow of gay.

Something tells me that we will be hearing that Bristol has had sexual relations with females and Todd with men! We may even hear that Sarah experimented with women before dropping out of her 5 colleges.

Its going to be another stick in Sarah's eyes to her Gomer followers after finding out that Sarah fucks black guys for interviews.

    Love the post.

I want to shake homophobes (well mainly because they are homophobes) when they talk about gays recruiting people.

Hell, I figured the door to door christians had that all locked up.

I've heard all the positions the anti-gay crowd give, very like the above. It hurts me to read it and know there are some who feel that way. I'm not gay. I'd stand up for any gays, if they were bullied, or insulted, or anything. I hope they know there are a lot of people who care and love them.

I disagree. I usually only comment on Palin-related stuff but that doesn't mean the other posts aren't read and supported. The number of comments to a post is not a measure of it's value and appreciation. As a matter of fact, I think G does a great job at commenting on the pulse of our world and balancing between his focus on a single topic (Sarah) and the big picture.

I have noticed that homophobes seem to focus on the sex act itself rather than the relationship between the people. How much time do we spend thinking about heterosexual physical acts rather than the relationship as a whole? I think they got stuck in prepuberty.

Captures it perfectly. I have heard it all from the religious people I know...Ugh, they are so narrow minded. Also, here in Washington state, I'm very pleased that we will be joining ranks of the other states that have legalized gay marriage. It passed in the senate, next week it will be voted on in the house and is expected to pass!

Wow, 'Sweet' anny that sure is a backhanded way to say good morning to Gryphen and to his readers.

Nothing sweet at all about your casting aspersions on Gryphen's readers like that. Trying to precognitively determine how commentors will respond to this post is pessimistic and cynical, at best.

Don't waste your good morning on Gryphen or us, we can do without the 'sweet'.

Sadly, a lot of people think that the "conservative" version of the "Gay Agenda" is literally true. I met a woman who was home-schooling her kids because she was convinced that they would catch the gay in public school. She was perfectly serious and could not understand why I thought she was kidding.

Hey, you forgot to mention those other FABulously gay weekend activities - washing the dishes and doing the laundry!

I have many LGBT friends, colleagues and acquaintances, and their days are filled with pretty much the same boring, mundane stuff that I do. I think there's even a term for it: 'Life'

  22. Actually, some of the "faux" gay agenda sounds kind of fun. The part about the "making name sound like dirty sex" thing. Well for one guy, that's a done deal. And frankly, no one deserves it more that that hypocritical dumb ass Santorum.

I've always wondered why straight men always feel threatened by gay men. I recall the discussion Barney Franks had about gays and straights showering together as an argument against DADT. If one is secure in their own sexuality, then what others do shouldn't bother them in the least.
As a married woman who's circle of friends includes several gay and lesbian people, the topic of sex rarely comes up.
And my own observations over the years is their committment to each other is strong and they make excellent parents. I think they're more accepting because they understand the anguish others hurl their way for no reason whatsoever.

This whole "gay agenda" meme is a lie people like Sweet Anny believe because they're immature, insecure, and ignorant. It soothes their consciences and excuses their hate for their fellow man.

  24. Oh now G - there's nothing to fear on that list on the left, so that can't be right! I mean, really teh gay is so scary!

I wonder where people come up with this garbage. Do they not feel ridiculous saying it? Unbelievable.
