Of course unbeknownst to Newt, and as the Frank Bailey e-mails clearly show, Palin was until very recently NOT such a big fan of Gingrich's:

ReplyDeleteShe didn't want to get off the 2008 campaign bus in new towns and meet-greet-and-photo with local Republican leaders because "they" weren't vetted enough for her. She was terrified those pictures were going to haunt her. (considering her baggage, that's a laugh.)
Stealing his speeches wasn't a harmful act? A virtual endorsement of his thinking? His leadership? His politics?
Remember how she refused to go on opposition shows because she doesn't want to boost their ratings? Letterman was only the tip of it, she can't go on shows with hard hitting hosts because t they'll eat her lunch and get viewership to watch the trainwreck.

ReplyDeleteFirst let me say that I am 70 years old and in somewhat fair health. Newt is 67 years old, very overweight, probably has HBP, he probably has not exercised ever or at the very least, not recently. He ran around N.C. and Florida in that heat in a suit and tie sweating like a hog. He probably has on spandex under the suit. He hasn't seen his feet in a standing position in years. He looks like he eats constantly. He is a walking example of a very unhealthy person.
Newt is tired, very tired from all the health issues he is carrying around with him. He dare not be seen in public without the suit jacket on. He hates it when people refer to him as 'FAT', yet he has done nothing to get the weight off, just like Cristy.
Like I said , no one wants to talk about his health issues, but they are there. Have you ever been around someone who is constantly on a diet...not a very pleasant time for all. Have you every been around someone who is constantly hungry and constantly eating? You are not at your best during those times. Now Newt has to go until JUNE wrapped up in spandex and a full suit of clothes...will he survive? It seems me that he would have lost some weight just from all of the activity that he has gone thru....but no....not one ounce lost. Newt is tired, very tired and it is only going to get worse for him as he goes on. It is a long time until November.

Just hear Michael Steele (former RNC Chair) say that an endorsement from Palin is "a big deal." This was said during a MSNBC panel discussion of the Trump endorsement, which they decided was meaningless. The only thing important about the Trump endorsement was that it wasn't for another candidate. The timing was suspect because Trump has a show premiering next week. LOD called it from the beginning. Trump's flirtation with a presidential run was all about increasing the ratings for his craptacular show.
