Did something just bubble up from the depths of Lake Lucille?

"Oh my God, Todd! Somebody is asking for my endorsement! Quick get the crayons!"
After an eery silence from the Lunatic from Lake Lucille, that is almost two weeks old now, there is news of an endorsement which has surfaced from not one, but two Palins. (Though whether Todd even knows he endorsed this person is open to speculation.)

Today, Senator Deb Fischer, a Republican candidate for U.S. Senate in Nebraska, announced that she has been endorsed by former Alaska Governor and Vice Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin and her husband Todd Palin.

“I’m incredibly honored to receive the endorsement of Governor Sarah Palin and Todd Palin. I greatly admire their willingness to stand on conservative principle and their resolve in standing up to the political establishment,” said Senator Deb Fischer.

"Incredibly honored?" Has this person ever MET the Palins?

No she has not. However she is apparently a starry eyed fan. And the evidence to support that fact is that Fischer actually SOUGHT the endorsement of Sarah Palin.

I am writing to you as both a fan of your strong, conservative principles and as a fellow female Republican. I have watched your career with respect as you take on tough issues, all while raising a family and serving your great state. Your career has inspired me and so many other female politicians who believe principles should be above politics.

Hmm, it looks like SOMEBODY has been watching "The Undefeated" over and over again, and believing that it somehow has something to do with reality. Either that or she didn't receive the memo stating that Palin's political endorsement is not worth the Post-it note it is scrawled on.

Here is Palin's actual endorsement:

Deb – thank you for your note. We have been watching your race closely. Your efforts remind us of those our family put forth for Sarah’s races here in Alaska. Winning over voters through personal interactions is the way to go.

People are tired of outside interests spending millions of dollars in political attack ads. We’re glad to see your grassroots efforts paying off! We admire your conservative principles and know that you will not go to Washington to amass great wealth or power. You will go to Washington to serve the people of Nebraska, protect our Constitution and work for common sense solutions to help restore America. We are happy to support you and have asked SarahPAC to send a financial contribution to your campaign.

Good luck next Tuesday – the Palins are in your corner.

- Todd & Sarah

Palin endorsed Fischer AND promised her SarahPAC money? Fischer is doomed.

Oh don't get me wrong, she might just win the Republican primary (After all this IS Nebraska!), but trust me, she's doomed.

I guess Deb hasn't followed the history of Palin endorsements. She wouldn't have contacted Sarah if she had.

$750. And the Grifter will ask clueless Deb to donate $500 back to her
      PAC.

Palin has never mentioned that she was sending a donation in other endorsements. Bait for peebot $$$.

      I'd say she'll give $1000.

Wonder if Ms. Fischer is aware of who $carah is palin' around with these days - http://blogs.reuters.com/felix-salmon/2011/09/09/anthony-scaramuccis-sleazy-sales-pitch/

You know a hedge fund manager/banker/financier type - a crony capitalism kingpin.
Hey Deb, we know it's Nebraska and your constituents aren't the brightest bulbs, but wonder what happens when they hear this. Spread the word in the local papers, churches and bars, folks, and we'll see.

That's about as generic an endorsement as anyone could get. It sounds like a sample of wording taken from a pamphlet on "political action 101."

Handy, too, because she can use it again for other endorsements and only alter the name. It's even gender neutral!

Who said grifting was hard work?

Sarah tweeted out her fb endorsement of Mourdock on April 27th.
    She's been silent since!
She'll probably unveil her new "look" (botox or gel injections) who knows what they had to do to her to get her ready for her next outing!

No tweet, no post on her FB ... very odd. Somebody should tell her that "she" endorsed Fischer yesterday.

I suspect she is totally scared about her speech tomorrow with speakers who have more than 1 brain cell. Not sure it's an audience that wants to hear her story about Trig's birth!

Two peas in a pod, both of whom claim they aren't "career" politicians. Fischer has been a state rep since 2004 or 2006, she's been on too many government boards to count, and now she's running for office in the big leagues. At what point will she acknowledge her career is politics???

    ReplyDelete
  14. Anonymous6:42 AM

That's how lazy she is. She's only endorsing people who send her ass kissing letters requesting her endorsement. No going out an researching candidates proactively for Sarah Palin. You must kiss the Queen's ring before she'll endorse you.

Todd & Sarah? Does this witch do anything on her own. What other politician includes their non-politician spouse in their endorsement? She must be locked in the rubber room brushing her wigs, so Todd replied and decided since he endorsed Newt that people would give a f$#@%$ about his endorsement.

I still can't believe she hasn't said anything about the President's Correspondence dinner joke. Not even a peep from Nancy French (I mean Bristol). I thought for sure she'd be shrieking that he should call her and apologize. He finally says something about her after 4 years and she is silent. I guess she can dish it out but she can't take it. I'm guessing she's either lost it or she's having more "work " done on her grill. Stay Classy Palins!

PS - I bet the PAC sends her $50. With the lack of funds coming in and lots of $ going out Sarah can't afford to give people her PAC money. I can't wait until she can't pay any of those high paid consultants and we start to see her true idiocy on display. No more ghost writers and Googlers for you!

I'm thinking someone loosely affiliated with these campaigns had to make a donation to GrifterPAC to "offset" the donation her PAC will be (possibly, I'll believe it when I see it) making to them.

"Your efforts remind us of those our family put forth for Sarah’s races here in Alaska."

Obviously Sarah didn't write this, because who describes themselves with "Sarah's races"? The idiot can't even write her own endorsement. I wonder who is the bigger idiot, the idiot, or the the idiot asking for the idiot's endorsement?

  16. Anonymous7:08 AM

She's got to endorse and send a little money to a politician running for office - at least every once in a while - to keep the grift going. Especially with her base dwindling along with their money and faith in her lies.

Even a deluded ignoramus like Sarah knows the game's up.

  17. Anonymous7:17 AM

Does anyone else find it odd that the endorsement was signed "Todd & Sarah", not "Sarah & Todd"? I understand, as a GCB, she must be submissive to her husband. But it was Sarah's endorsement Fischer was seeking. I'd think it should have come primarily from Sarah.

Sarah spits out these endorsements erratically when she's either having an attention-fix or when her SarahPAC is ready to release it's quarterly figures. She never discusses and writes about her endorsee weeks before, she doesn't seem the least bit interested in them.

Then all of a sudden, poof! and she and Todd decide to put their trust in someone they've never met, or even mentioned the name in passing on Fox.

Everything she does seems calculated to draw her name into the news. It's very strange that Bret Baier or Fox, or Hannity, or Greta haven't had her on their shows at all these past few weeks, since Sarah's last hateful rant.

I thought for sure they'd have her 'contribute' (hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah) on Tuesday night's Indiana primary. No Sarah to be seen. She is probably rattled by a senior Fox agent who put her in her place.

Palin is just trying to get more donations and using this endorsement to do it.

C4pee said some had received a picture of Palin from SarahPac lately. Also, Chuck Jr answered Brianus on the open thread yesterday. And now Todd makes his way into the endorsement.

If one looks at the total amount SarahPac has raised since it began, the amount of wasted millions is astonishing. Sick.

O/T but relevant to a previous post, Gryphen:

Abandon Ship: How the Left Sunk the Swiftboating of Barack Obama

...The difference between using the armed services to attack John Kerry and doing it to a sitting president hasn’t really sunk in yet with Joel — but it will.

Alan Colmes just sunk Arends’ Swiftboat. What Joel is doing is undermining the authority of the Commander in Chief and putting words in the mouths of those currently serving — all because he thinks Obama shouldn’t have taken quite so much credit. The left is on to the Swiftboater, and this isn’t 2004.

Oh, “shameless and despicable” Joel — the hubris, the stench of unpatriotic Koch tea — it burns.

When Greta Van Susteren started becoming involved with the Samaritan's Purse to bring attention to the plight of real need in Haiti, and now Sudan, I think it is admirable.

When highly-paid spokesmen from sites like Fox pay their 'celebrities' a nice contract settlement to 'contribute', they probably expect that employee to take every opportunity to learn something about the world they live in. One opportunity that came along for Sarah was an invitation by Franklin Graham to go to Sudan to see for herself; but she cancelled. I am sure he, like Greta, they expected she'd just postpone it, but so far she hasn't shown one iota of interest in going. Greta discusses the situation on her show, along with photos, and what progress is being made, if any.

Journalists take every opportunity to travel even if draws from their personal time and salaries. They come back with new insight and can discuss the topic because they've been right there. Nothing beats the experience; they know just shallow talk behind a desk without any personal engagement won't sell.

Sarah, thinks she can 'contribute' without ever making any sacrifices. She thinks she can 'endorse' without sacrificing some of her time and personal money(SarahPAC money is Ok). She thinks she can correct others about Afghanistan and battlegrounds that require diplomacy and experience in foreign affairs, WITHOUT ever visiting and feeling and understanding the complexities of those cultures.

I think Greta is fed up with her. She may now realize that Sarah is all about Sarah and doesn't have one interested bone in her body about compassionate involvement with the world. Her schtick is so obvious now, even to her colleagues.

I want to see just one of Sarah's common sense solution on anything with an in depth explanations to support her "common sense solution". I don't believe I have even heard someone even ask her a follow up question to one of her statements. That is with the exception of when she was on O'Rielly's show. He did ask her follow up questions and actually forced her to answer by cutting her off when she went into one of her canned speeches. When he did you could see Palin getting angry and she has never been on his show since. Of course she couldn't answer his follow up questions and just tried to BS her way out.
