Well it looks like they finally found the proper place for this literary embarassment.

I'm surprised they're only 50% off (75 or 90% seems much more deserving). Then again, you probably couldn't give these abominations away.

If ever there was a book that should be burned...sorry I gest. Although designated "fiction" future historians, socialogists, phycholigists and polical scientist will probably get a lot of milage out of this book. :)

When I was in graduate school (MA History), we were tasked with evaluating the historical accuarcy and validity of several documents/books/reports some of which were totally fradualent. If I were teaching a similar class, I would certainly consider having my students review this book.

Annon. Historian again: Like Hugh Trevor-Roper's text "The Hermit of Peking", Sarah's book would be a great vehicle for teaching critical thinking and analytical skills to aspiring historians and/or political scientists. For decades "The Hermit of Peking" was assumed to be a factual account of life an Englishman's life in China....until someone took the time to examine the facts which proved that the book was a total fraud. Palin's book MAY serve as a similar teaching tool for future generations.

Critical thinking such as how to evaluate and analyize facts is not something that our currant education system with it's focus on passing standardize tests neither acknowledges or facilitates.

They are just clearing off that table to make room for Chuck and Chuckie's book about Sarah, due out this September. In the category of "You can't give that stuff away" Bristol is doing exactly that. On her website she will be giving away one of her books, at random, the lucky winner selected from the people who post comments there. Nancy French has other books which she has co-authored, and they are part of the Christian website's promotion, with more places to post a comment and take your chances at being the lucky winner. Oh be still my heart!

LOL I love how someone wrote "fiction" on the sign because everybody knows that's exactly what she spews out of her brain and mouth. The Palins are toast. Not credible. UN-reality shows are perfect for them since they tried to pretend they are something they are not. Everybody has caught on. America could give a chit less about the aging beauty queen and her grifting family and they got sick of her mocking & repeating bumper sticker slogans. She makes no sense. She's a bonafide laughing stock. They are ad nauseum, finito, past the shelf life date. I think it's just wonderful that Sarah takes no one else' advice, kept talking when she should have shut her mouth, kept forcing her and the entire family on us and ruined her family "careers" all by her little old hating self. She brought her own reputation down and has no one else to blame. As it should be. HA HA effing HA! Maybe they can start an organ grinder business.

Hey, Sarah, I read the Globe while in line at the grocery. The story is about you heading for a major break down - but their whole premise for it is that YOU ARE ALL WASHED UP. You are as irrelevant as VCR's. An article about you on HuffPo has been up for 3 days and it's only garnered 500 comments. You are cooked. Dunzo. Soooo before. You might as well be a pet rock. Except pet rocks bring back warm, happy memories, and you, my pet, are nothing but a nightmare both the left AND ESPECIALLY the right want to forget. Forever.

    You blew it. Completely. Irrevocably.

I noticed there wasn't even a report on how badly Bristol's show did last week. It must have really tanked after the timeslot move.

Crazies4Palin ignore it like it never existed. Compare that to how they promoted her book & DWTS. I guess if you can't skew its "popularity", like you can with fake Amazon reviews or DWTS votes, then it's best just to act as if it never happened.

    4. Her fan-bots remind me of the women who keep going back to men who abuse them only to discover all they get is more of the same. Maybe they are too busy re-reading her books and playing with the 'free' patriotic bookmark she included to notice that the long list of potential VP candidates didn't even mention her name. Well at least not positively. I believe they referred to her as 'poison'.
