Jackson, 63, narrates in a Seussian fashion (Whoville!), while paying homage to the audiobook he recorded for Adam Mansbach's children's book sendup Go the Fuck to Sleep. The clip consists primarily of the actor, clad in jeans and a black beret, magically appearing in houses and hurling obscenities and Democratic talking points at unsuspecting white suburbanites.
Now remember this is not an ad that is approved by the President, and it ONLY shows up online so it will not be beamed into the living rooms of voters.
In my opinion this will probably not appeal to everybody, but it will definitely be a big hit with Samuel L. Jackson fans among whom I count myself. (Though admittedly I cringed a little as the elderly couple started to "get busy.")

I liked it. The 47% video spread like wildfire highly offending people personally or someone you know who are not welfare recipients and who even pay federal taxes.

IMO the debates will reinforce Mitt the flip flopper. He has an established pattern he can't stop so I expect more of the same which will hurt them more.

I have also read that he basically vanished and was away for about 220 days -- to run for president in the 2008 election. Another thing that sounds familiar --- hmmmm. He's so much like someone we know from AK. He basically 'quite' half way through his term!!!!

ReplyDeleteSeveral years ago, I worked with a bunch of black ladies in an office building downtown. And I gotta tell ya, those ladies LOVED them some Mr. Samuel L. Jackson! The things they said would have made him blush!!!
There's plenty of good looking guys, but some of them just have sumthin' the others don't have. Am I right, ladies? Whatever it is, Sam has it, according to those funny ladies I worked with. Every time I see him in a part, it makes me think of those girls and smile.
