The World's Best Christian, Betty Bowers, has a great new ad for the Republican party. "The Grand Old Party, where you can be for something while against it."
The only secret I think she's in on is the mother of that child she supposedly carried. Then again she bought into it for a time so I'm guessing she's one of SaraPAC's consultants. She looks nice but money is a powerful tool Sara knows how to use. Plus she knows what happens to people who cross Sara so don't be looking for a tell-all book anytime soon.
North Carolina May Declare Official State Religion Under New Bill
Republican North Carolina state legislators have proposed allowing an official state religion in a measure that would declare the state exempt from the Constitution and court rulings.
The bill, filed Monday by two GOP lawmakers from Rowan County and backed by nine other Republicans, says each state "is sovereign" and courts cannot block a state "from making laws respecting an establishment of religion." The legislation was filed in response to a lawsuit to stop county commissioners in Rowan County from opening meetings with a Christian prayer, wral.com reported.
The religion bill comes as some Republican-led states seek to separate themselves from the federal government, primarily on the issues of guns and Obamacare. This includes a proposal in Mississippi to establish a state board with the power to nullify federal laws.
Pretty much hit every F'n hypocritical meme the party of dumb stands behind. Just last night I was ranting to my poor loved one who listens patiently, (most of the time). Palin running for VP with an unwed pregnant teenager? If it were a Dem woman VP candidate those Aholes would be marching in the streets screaming about family values. But Wassillabily gets a pass because she belongs to the party of "it's okay for us but not for you."
A couple more points that rub me that this spoke on.
prolife/death penalty less regs in industry=less government but it's okay to regulate a womans uterus. mandated health care is socialism yet Georgia is trying to mandate gun ownership???? Even if they don't plan to enforce it, Gryph said something in the earlier post about what a waste of time.
