Joe Biden chastises the Republican party for allowing themselves to be bullied by freshmen Senators Ted Cruz and Rand Paul.

"What part of doing their job do these idiots not understand?"
While campaigning for Ed Markey's Senate campaign in Massachusetts, Biden said this:

"This is not your father’s Republican Party. It really is a fundamentally different party. There’s never been as much distance, at least since I’ve been alive, distance between where the mainstream of the Republican congressional party is and the Democratic Party is. It’s a chasm. It’s a gigantic chasm.”

Biden said the "last thing" the country needs is a new senator who will back Cruz and Paul.

“Think about this,” he said. “Have you ever seen a time when two freshman senators are able to cower the bulk of the Republican Party in the Senate? That is not hyperbole.”

The vice president pointed specifically to the Senate's rejection of expanded background checks earlier this year. Biden said he reached out to 17 senators, including nine Republicans, ahead of the vote to urge them to support the measure.

"Not one of offered an explanation on the merits of why they couldn’t vote for the background check," Biden said. "But almost to a person, they said, ‘I don’t want to take on Ted Cruz. I don’t want to take on Rand Paul. They’ll be in my district.’"

Biden continued: “I actually said, ‘Are you kidding? These are two freshmen.'"

Yeah essentially the Republican party is not longer a viable political party due to the fact they are  unable to compromise or make deals on ANYTHING due to the fact that the wingnuts have so vilified this President, and his party, that working with them is now considered political death for a Republican.

It cannot be stressed enough that the only hope for progress is to get rid of as many Republicans in the Senate and Congress as possible until the obstructionists on the Right have been removed or rendered impotent.

Just remember who worked to get Ted Cruz elected in the first place.

"Good job Ted, you are proving how broken Washington is every day that you are there!"

    I blame McCain. Period.

    1. Anonymous10:23 AM

I agree...McCain is responsible for destroying his own party AND country.

  2. Anonymous10:36 AM

Ted Cruz is a great Senator.

By what measure? Obstructionism. No record of accomplishments or legislation made into law? Being invited to Sunday talk shows as a pundent?

    2. Anonymous12:18 PM

      He's a rabid animal.

    3. No, he is not. He is incompetent, he is unethical, he is dishonest, he is un-American, and he refuses to do the job the United States people pay him to do.

Oh, wait. If you are a republican, those are things that you think are praiseworthy.

    4. jcinco2:11 PM

sure he is if you found joe mccarthy to be an admirable individual rather than a rabid, lying pos who was as big of a fame whore as palin.

    5. Anonymous2:24 PM

Another Joe McCarthy, and that's scary.

Well if chaos is your game, then maybe Teddy is your boy. The majority on both sides prefer elected officials who actually accomplish things for the electorate rather than a constant running mouth that seeks only to advance one's own personal agenda.

Oh, don't mistake Sarah's swooping in at the opportune time (her M.O. after sucking her ginormous gnarled finger and sticking it in the wind with her retarded superwoman bracelet on) to tumble forth a word salad and phone bank recording as 'working.'

Arizona Senator’s Son Used Homophobic, Anti-Semitic Language On Twitter

Sen. Jeff Flake’s high school-aged son Tanner used twitter to threaten the “faggot” who stole his bike that he “will find you, and … will beat the crap out of you,” joked about an acquaintance stealing one-liners because he’s Jewish, and went by the name “n1ggerkiller” in an online game.

“I’m very disappointed in my teenage son’s words, and I sincerely apologize for the insensitivity. This language is unacceptable, anywhere. Needless to say, I’ve already spoken with him about this, he has apologized, and I apologize as well,” Sen. Flake said in a statement to BuzzFeed.

Although Tanner has since locked his twitter account, a series of tweets from January and February show the Arizona Republican’s son repeatedly using the slurs.

Additionally, Flake posted screenshots of scores from games on “Fun Run,” a social gaming app. The screen shots show that Flake goes by the name of “n1ggerkiller.”

Well we KNOW that his Dad clearly has not set any sort of stellar examples. That this kid would speak in such a foul way warrants more than a lame 'apology'. He learned this somewhere, and most likely at home. He got busted, so he 'apologized'. Big fucking deal. What kind of parent condones this kind of foul mouthed language. Clearly, Jeff Flake, the one who lied to the grieving mother, is just as much of a slimeball.

OMG he looks like a womanizing creep in that picture with Silly Sarah.

  7. That picture. Two ugly people, inside and out.
