If you missed it last night's Saturday Night Live take on the government shutdown, featuring Miley Cyrus, is a MUST see.

Okay that was pretty damn funny!

Great show last night and Miley did an outstanding job in every segment she was a part. She has a great voice. Loved their putdowns on Boehner and the 'other' Teabagger idiot, Bachmann!

The RWNJ were pretty butthurt about it. Written up on Druge and "the Blaze"...

Someone mentioned "dead fish sticks" also, too!

I would have loved to see Miley switched out for Amy Poehler, but that might be just me. I never could stand Miley, even way back.

I'm with you. I couldn't stand Hannah Montana: awful show, awful premise. Plus, my daughter-in-law buying all that Hannah Montana crap for my granddaughters courtesy of Disney Corporation.

Now, Miley Cyrus herself is starting to make me sick. Her latest attack on Sinead O'Connor's mental health struggles are especially nauseating...reminds me of exactly what Sarah Palin would do. She's starting to look like another narcissistic sociopath.

Hate to say this 1 PM, but I found Miley much better in her vafrious roles than Poehler (although I like her too and her history on SNL). Miley is very talented and has a great, great voice! I was actually surprised that I enjoyed her! I'm a senior, senior citizen and had been kind of put down by some of her previous actions.

Especially loved the fact she could accept the criticism she has received (of recent) and showed she has a great sense of humor!

Have a hunch she is going to go far! Shit, she's already earned millions!

Saw it last night and thought she did a great job.

Bet skanky Palin was wishing that Miley was playing her instead of Bachmann.

Sarah has been trying her best to get noticed, using nasty insults against anyone-- just please notice her. She is the 3 year old, lying on the floor, kicking her heels and throwing a tantrum. What does a gal have to do to get noticed around here? She has already been sticking her tongue out at President Obama and the GOP, what's next?

Guess they don't realize the whole world is already laughing.

Just when I think SNL is DOA this season, they let this loose! Good on so many levels (well, maybe just two). Loved it!

  8. Well, I was impressed. I thought it would be tasteless and boorish, but instead the republican house was treated with all the respect and deference that is warranted.

Gryphen, that video would be a whole lot funnier if they were making fun of Somalia or Guinea-Bissau. Kinda sad to see to America rapidly climbing the chart of the UN's official "Most Exceptionally Fucked Up Country" list.

USA!!! USA!!! We're number 4!!! We're number 4!!! In your face!! USA!! USA!!!

    Yeah, we're exceptional, all right....

If the president caves in to their demands on Obamacare, the right wing psychotocracy is guaranteed to demand the repeal of Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, the flu vaccine, public placement of first aid kits and portable defibrillators.

Sure would be nice if this becomes the GOP/Teabagger's "any of them; all of them" momment

      Anon 5:17,
Ardiva did not say she watched it, did she? I can't stand Miley Cyrus and did NOT watch the video for the same reasons I don't watch Palin videos.

Wait a minute, that was a skit on SNL? I thought that I was watching CSPAN. Isn't that the way that Republicans act?
