Sarah Palin's newest endorsee fake wrestles alligators, loves the 2nd Amendment, dislikes immigrants, and wants to defund Obamacare. Oh yeah, that's a winner.

You know I can add extra tape to an already taped alligator's jaws too. Does that mean that I could run for the Louisiana Senate seat as well?

Here is a bit of Palin's endorsement from her Facebook page:

Many of us have encouraged the election of more conservative warriors to join the fight in the United States Senate this election cycle. In the Louisiana Senate race we have the opportunity to send a true conservative and a real warrior to join that fight. So, today I am lending my support to retired Col. Rob Maness for U.S. Senate.

Palin goes on to say that Maness was at the Pentagon on 9-11 and rushed in to help after the attack. (Did he happen to see a plane?)  All of which is admirable by the way.

Rob is a true conservative – opposing amnesty, pledging to protect our Second Amendment rights, and promising to defund Obamacare. As the grandfather of a now healthy 2-year-old baby grandson born at just 28 weeks and 2 lbs., 5 oz., he knows first hand the miracle of life and promises to protect it.

Okay so he does not want to provide a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants, loves guns, hates Obamacare, and is anti-choice. Sounds like a dating profile on the Republican version of eHarmony.

Rob is the admitted underdog in this race. Having spent his career in uniform, he does not have deep pockets or lobbyist connections to fund his campaign. To me, it’s a blessing, not a curse that he’s not held office before. After all, our founders weren’t politicians – many of them in fact were military leaders. Maybe it’s time we got back to those roots!

Okay so we know he's going to lose, but that's okay because it's a blessing. (Did I read that right?)

And according to Palin not knowing anything about politics is exactly what we need in Washington.

Palin goes on to slam current Senator, and Democrat, Mary Landrieu, and condemn the establishment Republican choice of Bill Cassidy to replace her. About Cassidy she has this to say:

He voted to raise the debt ceiling, was one of 19 Republicans to vote for President Obama’s hate crimes legislation, campaigned in support of the government bailout (but now opposes it), voted for Obamacare Medicare savings (but now opposes them). Come on, GOP, is this the best we can do?

Actually if they want to beat Senator Landrieu, then the answer to that last question is, yeah.

Instead Palin chooses the underdog that nobody gives much chance of winning, but who dampens her camouflage granny panties with his uber conservative machismo.

And hey, don't think Maness doesn't appreciate it either.

Courtesy of ABC News:

Maness said that he is “humbled” by Palin’s endorsement, which he said he sought because of her record of public service.

“I am truly humbled Governor Palin would lend her credibility to a regular guy like me,” Maness said in a statement. ”We are winning this campaign the old-fashioned way — by putting people over politics. I’ve logged 50,000 miles in my Ford F-150 and visited all 64 of Louisiana’s great parishes — this endorsement is just the energy we need to keep trucking!”

Not only is this guy no politician, he is also so naive that he actually thinks that having Sarah Palin endorse him is a good thing.  Hell, he even asked for it!

Exactly !!! Kind of like a Crazy Lady strapping on a faux pregnancy belly, breaking water and then catching two aeroplanes, next driving for almost an hour without her security detail, to "give birth" to a high risk delivery in a hospital not equipped to even handle the birth of twins (cause you know you can't have a fisher picker born in Texas) - and this makes her qualified to be chosen as a VP candidate.

Suuurrrrrreee. Uh-huh. Why of course that makes them qualified - for the looney bin.

There's an article in the ADN describing a swipe Palin took at Parnell as well as some words of support for Bill Walker. I'm guessing that Parnell is one of the Palin secret-holders and am hoping that pissing him off may cause some skeletons from her closet to make an appearance. I know it's overly optimistic to think that she may actually be exposed given everything she and her family have gotten away with, but one can only hope.

If Maness doesn't win his primary, maybe he can wrestle alligators on Sarah's amazing show. As for Sarah's endorsements, talk is cheap. How much money does she donate to their campaigns, especially a guy like this guy, who does have "deep pockets." (If Sarah's PAC pays for her to show up at a rally, that doesn't count. She just wants to get out of the house, have someone pay for her expenses, and get a little publicity).

Oh Yeah! More military folk who “know how to run things!” Where in the world is this coming from? The military is the most top-down form of governance (NOT A DEMOCRACY!) and is funded wholly by citizens' taxes! Sarah Palin is a mental midget. The military is socialism at its best. Welcome to the alternate universe of Sarah Palin, where brains don’t count and magical thinking reigns.

Democracy is messy, its main component “the will of the people” is not in the military code. I wish this woman had paid attention in school. She misunderstands the main components of basic civics and the underpinnings of a democracy. Where the hell did she attend school?

Just like Palin, the conservative candidate has had his brushes with controversy.

In March, Maness drew criticism when he told The Hill that had he been in the Senate, he would have opposed Hurricane Katrina relief funding. He later clarified the statement to the Times-Picayune, saying he "would have been as strong as any advocate for aid for the people of Louisiana" after Katrina.

Maness also picked a fight with the incumbent Democratic senator after Landrieu referred to some of her colleagues on Capitol Hill as "obnoxious" last year. Maness took that to mean she believed all unpopular opinions were similarly obnoxious. Speaking to a conservative audience in November, Maness said Landrieu might take issue with his family's decision to name their dog after Abigail Adams, since she opposed slavery supported women's rights when they were "very unpopular ideas."

Such desperation. Such dishonesty. Such utter lack of character. So Republican.

Benghazi Committee Backfires as Boehner Refuses to Answer Fundraising Email Questions

A sign that the latest House Republican Benghazi show investigation is backfiring grew when John Boehner refused to answer questions about why he won’t stop the Republicans from fundraising off of Benghazi.

    Video:

...Republicans needed a quick pivot after they were proven completely wrong about Obamacare, so they revived the corpse of a past conspiracy theory. The problem is that literally everyone knows what they are doing, and why they are doing it.

John Boehner could put an end to the fundraising, but he won’t because Republicans are trying to profit off of the deaths of four Americans. This isn’t new behavior. The Republican Party has fundraised off of 9/11 for more than a decade.

By repeating the same non-answer over and over again, Speaker Boehner admitted his guilt. His answers were the political equivalent of taking the fifth.

This charade is already backfiring on House Republicans. The media isn’t interested, and have busted the GOP for trying to fundraise off of a tragedy. The American people aren’t interested, and only the zombies who watch Fox News care about this conspiracy.

House Republicans are only hurting themselves by reviving Benghazi. The latest master plan to get President Obama is resulting in another spectacular failure.

Morning Joe Slams GOP For ‘Undermining the Credibility of Benghazi Committee’ with Fundraising

How many times can Republicans get caught making things up in their desperation to politicize this tragedy before Joe Scarborough gives up on them? It takes a naked, desperate cash grab based on the tragic death of four Americans for Joe to say enough.

Calling Republican fundraising over the death of four Americans in Benghazi “disgusting”, Joe Scarborough charged on Morning Joe Thursday morning that Republicans have “have undermined the credibility of this committee.”

Yup. Republicans have lost even Joe Scarborough on Benghazi, by being so cravenly desperate and political about their approach as to raise money off of murder.

They think they will get money from the people they scare over guns and a black man. That is all the there there. Feed the fear, get re-elected. It won't work this time. If the GOP wants to retain their seats, how about a Jobs Bill? How about helping public schools instead of demoralizing their teachers and cutting their funding at every turn? How about supporting solar energy and cutting off the oil barons? So many positive things the GOP could do, but all they can do is trash Dems and America. Please proceed, Mr. Boehner. And don't let the door hit you on your way back home.

...The idea [from the GOP point of view] here, though, isn’t to get to the bottom of anything. It’s to try to make a criminal case out of a tragedy. Trey Gowdy, the chairman of the new select committee, even saved us the trouble of having to do the usual decoding the other day when he said: “If an administration is slow-walking document production, I can’t end a trial simply because the defense won’t cooperate.

Interesting. A “trial.” The “defense.” And we’re supposed to believe that we’re all just Americans looking for justice for Chris Stevens and the three others? This is sickening. We’ve had nine investigations and reports. They’re not going to learn anything new, and they’re not trying to. Democrats, do the American thing and have nothing to do with this charade.

How about a hole in the Pentagon wall much smaller and lower to the ground from than a 757 200's dimensions. Plus ZERO damage from the two engines under the wings, which are made from titanium and aluminum which would not be destroyed by the incendiary from the jet fuel nor from the impact at 350 mph nor even higher speeds. A picture of the hole from the crash is visible in several shotos taken while the fire crew was spraying it prior to the roof caving on that part of the building. There were no damage marks on bldg from either wing not the tail of the plane.

      Delete

So true, Sue. Search any images of airplane disasters, any of 'em, all of 'em. There is ALWAYS a huge mess. Where is the debris field form either of those 'plane crashes'? There is none.

And there are none so blind as those who will not see.

      Delete
    5. Anonymous7:00 AM

Exactly, Sue. Given that there was a second debris location from the same crash too far away to be wind blown, your theory is highly more likely than the "hero story" that was advanced. Most folks have already forgotten the lies told about Jessica Lynch and and Pat Tillman, which was total BS war propaganda made up to "support the troops".

And Bldg 7 was not even addressed by the 9/11 Commission.

A healthy skepticism is a necessity.

      Delete
    6. Anonymous11:44 AM

Not only that, there are no photographs of a 757 at the Pentagon that day; nor was any wreckage, luggage, airplane parts, or human bodies found. There was evidence of explosions. The wall collapsed 20 minutes after the event. The official story is that the plane simply disintegrated due to jet fuel (kerosene) fires, yet the story also claims that DNA was recovered to identify the dead. So no aluminum left, but DNA?

Also, how did Hani Hanjour, who could barely fly a Cessna, maneuver that 757 through a 720 degree spiral, pull up, and not hit the ground before hitting the Pentagon? And how did he evade our vaunted air defense? And how did the plane penetrate 3 rings deep, and cut a neat hole in the C-Ring wall? No 757 hit the Pentagon on 9-11-01.

At the 9-11 Pentagon, the world witnessed a fire and suggestions of explosions. Airport fire trucks rushed to the scene of a purported “crash” site - without discovering an airplane. There is no viable evidence of burning jet fuel. Just the statement, They say it was an airplane. The pre-collapse Pentagon section showed no ‘forward-moving’ damage. The damage is at the wrong location. The expected “crash” damage doesn’t exist. There was no particular physical evidence of the expected “wreckage.” There was no tail, no wings; no damage consistent with a B-757 “crash.” Even the Pentagon lawn was undamaged! The geometry of the day certifies the ‘official’ account as a blatant lie. The few aircraft parts discovered at the Pentagon are highly suspect. The dramatic “witness” accounts lack supporting physical evidence - with the exception of those who described the incredibly few aircraft parts. All images show that the building wasn’t aggressively searched for survivors. Lacking any ‘expected’ clues, one is left to ask Who said this was an airplane crash, in the first place?

Dinty, are you implying if the G-man is a 'truther' you will spend your valuable time elsewhere? If so, maybe you should. Spend some time researching, or reading a high school physics book.

Then come back and explain to all of us how the towers collapsed at the speed of gravity, and how they caused WTC7 to just fall down (maybe in sympathy?).

      And you use of 'truther'.

When did 'truth' become a dirty word?

When most of you took the government story hook line and sinker.

Seriously, Dinty. Spend a 'good bit of time' on research, and report.

    2. Are you the same Anonymous who 9/11-truthered comments at 9:57, 11:58, 6:09, and 7:00 above?

I looked at "compiled footage of collapse of Building 7" just now, and it's pretty obvious to me that there was structural weakness in the center of the building from the very top floors to the bottom. THAT'S where the collapse started.

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWorDrTC0Qg

I'm assuming the structural weakness was due to extreme heat. Speaking of physics, ever stood a block away from two buildings engulfed in jet-fuel-fed fire? What happens? Yeah, intense heat, a block away, affecting a nearby building from top to bottom. Buildings 5 and 6 were low structures that did nothing to deflect the heat from Buildings 1 and 2, and were heavily damaged themselves.

9/11 truthers' conspiracy theories about Building 7 are based on stupidity. That's why Alex Jones is involved. He's stupid.

    3. P.S. As for speculation about no-jet-crash into the Pentagon the next day, and all the secrecy involved with the aftermath...

It's the PENTAGON. Secrecy is their middle name, possibly nearly as tight (in 2001, anyway) as the CIA and the NSA. Did anyone really expect to see CNN, ABC, Reuters walking through the wreckage, and into the depths of the building to look for plane debris and body parts?

And KaJo, you'd better do some more research. Like check out A&E911Truth http://www.ae911truth.org. It is impossible for the building to have fallen at free-fall acceleration (as NIST admits happened for 2.25 seconds) without explosives. Wake up and learn.

She bashes Cassidy, after just recently condemning the old "us versus them" way of thinking after her last failed endorsement. What a hypocrite!

Oh for the love of our sarah's rapture god. That woman is such an outrageous wacko. When will she do that final public appearance to explain her lies and scandals for once? Keep waiting but she just keeps milking the cows and carrying on until the courts tell her to stop. Simple and Ignorant is Our Sarah. What was the story again? The story of her daddy? and what Idaho group? and and and speak up sarah. America is waiting for you to explain your insanity.

  30. If he has not held elected office before, then I suggest he start with city council, and that goes for anyone of any party. Show me that you can actually govern, that you can work with all your constituents, not just the ones that voted for you or who donated to your campaign, that you can actually work with the other side and unuderside the concept of give-and-take and compromise, and that the good is not the enemy of the perfect.

Then set your sites on the damned US Senate.

We had that. And she was selected to be on a ticket as a heartbeat away from the most powerful job in the world.

But I wholeheartedly agree with your sentiment and standard, that you need to be able to govern for all constituents, regardless of your ideology.
