He was the one fringe Tea party candidate that she didn't endorse, but now that Dave Brat has defeated Eric Cantor, Sarah Palin is desperate to bathe in his reflected glory.

Hey Mr. Brat, look over here! It's me Sarah!
From the political table scrap eater's Facebook page:

Congratulations to Dave Brat in Virginia on such an encouraging victory tonight! You shocked the political world and reminded D.C. that power lies with We the People and not any conventional party establishment. Dave Brat was massively outspent (more than 10 to 1) and laughed off by most, but he won the trust of voters the old fashioned way – one by one. Tonight’s victory showed the power of the local grassroots – the ones with boots on the ground who put up the campaign signs and go door to door to provide needed support for great candidates. Appreciation also goes to those with powerful microphones like Laura Ingraham, Mark Levin, Ann Coulter and others who recognized Dave’s strengths and had the guts to provide him a megaphone to reach concerned citizens.

Grassroots commonsense conservatives can use this momentum to push good candidates like Chris McDaniel, T.W. Shannon, and Rob Maness to victory for America. These candidates are also being massively outspent by establishment candidates and they need our help and energy.

Thank you, Virginia! On to November!

- Sarah Palin

You know if you listen carefully you can almost hear her  kicking herself with her naughty monkey pumps and mumbling "Why didn't I endorse him, why?"

Palin has had such a lackluster performance in 2014, this victory must be eating away at her like the meth is eating away at her brain.

But hey Sarah it's not too late.

You could still endorse him for the general election and even show up on the campaign trail to "help" him against his little known Democratic opponent Jack Trammell.

After all this is a deeply red district so there is very little chance for the Democrat to pull off a victory. (Until you show up that is.)

Just imagine how sweet that victory will be in November, with Dave Brat receiving all of those accolades and you standing just off to the side with your wonky eyed grin, just basking in all that reflected glory almost as if it were all for you.

Skank Palin attaches herself to any 'perceived' victory. Brat will be sorry that she even mentioned him.

News from a pal in Virginia: there likely won't be a Democratic candidate -- that district is so red it bleeds! But the other bit of news she had was that, because this was an open primary, there was a concerted effort to get Democrats out to vote against Cantor.

I thought the exact same thing when I saw her post. Really, if she can post a pic of her sister in cap and gown and claim it's herself graduating from Idaho, hire a city manager to do her work as mayor, let her pimp ex-husband shadow govern, and fake a pregnancy, of course she's going to take credit for something she never endorsed.

Yes, he asked. Dave and I both think that
Palin may have felt it would not be particularly helpful in this area against Cantor. He admires everything about her, most particularly her strategy skills, so he is not upset about it. He will be a good one for her to endorse for November, though. They are two peas in a pod - Servant leaders who revere God and the U.S. Constitution and the power of the people and the states."

Congressional House candidate Dave Brat was "laughed off" because he is a loon. It does appear likely that his primary win was the result of Democratic Party voters wanting to unseat Eric Cantor. Virginia has an "open primary" which, in this case, cost the GOP a win.

Even though Dave Brat will likely make it into Congress, he will never wield the power that Eric Cantor had as majority leader. So this is huge win for the Democratic Party anyway.

Sarah Palin is incapable of comprehending the political situation in the Eric Cantor defeat. But she has yet again demonstrated why she is a menace to the GOP. The GOP, if it knew what was good for it, should isolate Palin and silence her interference in the political discourse in this country.

Cantor had $5.4 million in his war chest vs. $200K for Brat. Brat went door to door and Cantor stayed in DC trying to edge out Boehner for the speakership. The turn out was low, most sane republicans thought Cantor was a shoe in so they did not bother to vote The ones that did were the rabid nut jobs. Brat is a Calvinist economist, yes that good old 16th century shit but of course he never said anything about that on the campaign trail. It was all DC is corrupt, immigrants are evil, USA USA USA and all the other Koch bros. talking points.
Bottom line, that district traded in a MLB star pitcher for a peewee league bat boy.

According to C4P'er Ting (who worked for Brat's campaign), he did ask for Sarah's endorsement. Obviously she declined and the feeling is that she thought her endorsement wouldn't help - perhaps the wrong side of that double-edged sword would come into play.

Virginia has open primaries. Trammell, the Democratic candidate, was chosen by committee, so many, many Dems crossed over to vote Cantor out. Brat's Libertarian views are also going to cause mainstream Republicans to consider voting for the far more moderate Democrat.

Presumably mental illness sometimes strikes people after they've earned advanced degrees and even landed positions, but short of mental illness, if a person has focused aptitudes they can go a long way in spite of a broadly looney-tunes world view. Listen, you little twerp. You don't get the joke. The Moral Majority was a prominent American political organization associated with the Christian right. It was founded in 1979 and dissolved in the late 1980s. It played a key role in the mobilization of Christians as a political force and in Republican presidential victories throughout the 1980s. It was their support of Saint Ronald of Reagan which helped elect him as President for two terms.

It's clear that you don't know history. And, you don't know a joke when you come here to use the latest word that you just learned, such as manipulation or slander. It's all reminiscent of how the AK Democrats got their butts burned in the 2010 primary. Many Undeclareds, who were actually Democrats registered Undeclared so as to vote in the Republican Primary, voted for Joe Miller instead of Lisa Murkowski thinking that Miller was such a batshit crazy candidate that should he win the Republican Primary the Dem Candidate, newcomer Scott McAdams, would easily win in the general. Instead, Murkowski ran as a write in and the rest is history. McAdams just wasn't a strong enough candidate.

The players still won't admit that monkeying with the Primary was a bad idea, but in the end at least we ended up with Murkowski and NOT Joe Miller, but the message is still the same, if you monkey with the system it might not turn out exactly how you think it will.

Virginia will end up with a powerless, but insane Teabagger freshman, because the Dems weren't prepared with a strong candidate. Cantor could also pull a Murkowski write-in.

This thing could have maybe worked for VA Dems if only they would have had their bases covered in the event that Brat actually won, which they didn't. They needed to have a viable candidate with a website and a social media presence when as all they did was pull out a name late in the day and say, "oh yeah, we have this guy Trammell and he's going to run." In manipulating the system one must always remember to think ahead and cover all bases. It's been proven time and again. Do it, but do it 100%; Proper Preparedness Prevents Piss Poor Performance.

Like we've seen the past year or two. The Republicans can't get themselves to agree on anything and the newly elected Tea Baggers have an undeserved power. Just block, block, block and obstruct, obstruct, obstruct.

I hope Alaskans learned their lesson with Joe Miller. Don't just assume the incumbent will win and don't go voting for the other person. You don't want to give them any chance of getting elected and the sooner you knock them out the better.

Yeah, and this is the calibre of assholes that she supports. This feigned outrage by the pig castrator is bullshit, but look at the dick that she's married to.

    From his website:

"Dave will protect the rights of the unborn and the sanctity of marriage, and will oppose any governmental intrusion upon the conscience of people of faith."

It wasn't enough for him to write this...he put it in bold print.

He would also govern irresponsibly and, apparently, join those who would default on our debt rather than raise the debt ceiling.

"...and will oppose any governmental intrusion upon the conscience of people of faith."

Yet this fucking hypocrite (and others like him) have no problem with using their governmental powers to "intrude" upon the consciences of agnostics, atheists, and anti-theists.

Can't believe he actually won fairly -- Cantor's internal polls showed him beating his opposition by 30 points, and then this guy wins by 11? He used a quote that what man can't do, God can, he says God gave him the win.

Sounds like he is admitting that the man (people) didn't vote for him--and God helped him to cheat. Issa should start an investigation into that election to see what happened.

I'm thinking that Cantor's internal polling didn't include polling Dems that crossed over. Had it been a Republican only primary, Cantor might have beaten Brat. Wouldn't it be interesting to know how many Dems voted for Brat. Not that "God" (cough, cough) didn't contribute to Brat's win also, too.

There was a VERY low turnout...Cantor's supporters thought he had it in the bag and Brat's turned out to VOTE.

Please let this be a lesson to concerned citizens everywhere! YOUR VOTE COUNTS!

    3. Anonymous10:14 AM

BINGO! 9:39. Only 12% or so turned out so it only took 6+% of the total voting public to get this guy nominated. Please vote! And get your progressive kids and their friends out to vote too!

And Romney thought that he was going to win, too. So did Karl Rove. They had their own numbers. Notice that it's Cantor's internal polling that showed him 34% ahead. What did the independent polls show? And he was a fool if he didn't account for Democrats crossing over by getting a big turnout of his own voters. When Obama ran against McCain, he knew that he had to win by a wide margin so there couldn't be any of the Florida or Ohio stuff going on. And, he did. That's a community organizer for ya, Sarah.

SarahPac has over one million dollars in their account and they didn't give one cent for Dave Brat's cause.

I bet Sarah Palin or her people are calling Dave Brat or his people asking them if they want Queen Maker Sarah Palin's support and if they can donate to his campaign.

Mrs. Palin spends $10 in fundraising for each dollar donated to SarahPAC, a ratio of expenditure vs. income that is highly unsustainable. In other words, her well is running dry, that's why those $5000 contributions are so few and far between, it costs her $50 grand to raise that $5000.

I have read comments from many Democratic voters in Cantor's district who went to the polls and voted fro Brat yesterday.
It was an open primary, any registered voter could vote for any party. As the Democratic challenger Jack Trammel was unopposed, they used their votes to eliminate Cantor.
Virginia's Governor and Lt. Governor are both Democrats now.
    November could be very interesting.

Sarah missed the boat with this one. And now she is trying to climb aboard a ship that has already sailed. She wants the foolish to send her money so she can donate to these 'rill conservatives", but she just takes the money and spends it on herself and her family. The candidates don't get any actual donations. Indeed, Sarah tries to make her money on both ends by charging the candidate for showing up and campaigning for them. Just ask Karen Handel how much she forked over to Sarah - $100,000.

Pretty good pay for a day's work, but now the foolish are starting to figure out that Sarah is just another con artist out to separate fools from their money.

You'd think he'd be the FIRST and most logical for her to endorse. She's got a housefull of Brats that overflowed to Arizonastan. Of course she wants to light this guy's fire NOW. The pig castrator, Mr McGoo Lonegan, "I dated a witch once... there was an altar and some blood" McDonald, The gal with the supergirl undies, and so many more have lost from her stepping up to the mic, the last thing Palin needs is another Brat. Something tells me Mr Brat wants nothing to do with old granny vinegar tits.
