Fox's Eric Bolling pushes for holy war with ISIS. Well this isn't helping.

Courtesy of Mediaite:

He said, “There’s a common denominator with these murderous thugs: they’re Islamic, they’re radical, they’re extremist, and they’re purely intolerant. It’s time to wake up.” And as far as Bolling’s concerned, the persecution of Christians and the call by one terrorist for the flag of Allah to fly at the White House just go too far: “You want a holy war? We’ll give you one. It just may be time to unleash hell on radical Islam. Don’t worry, Islamic jihadists, your 72 virgins await.”

If you listen to Bolling the only two groups he mentions by name are the Christians and the Jews. Every other group that is being terrorized, including many that are Muslim is of no real consequence.

After all if you are going to promote a holy war, it helps to have each side clearly defined by their different religious affiliations.

As I said yesterday, this situation needs to be addressed in terms of humanitarian needs, NOT religious intolerance.

It does not matter that ISIS, or any other group, wants to draw America into a holy war. We are a secular nation, despite Christian revisionists attempting to paint us otherwise, and we need to move forward as a country that cares for ALL people without regard to their skin color, country of origin, or religious beliefs.

And seriously just when is Fox News finally going to be identified as a hate group?

  1. The Fox/Palin crowd would love nothing more than if we are attacked and they can blame it on Obama. They are actively trying to make that happen. Unfortunately, they are incapable of thinging these things through--or maybe that are. It's the age old quandry: Are the stupid or are they evil? Or maybe a little bit of both.

Wake Up Ameica posts here often and on other blogs. The truth hurts, and not surprising at all that Bolling blocked. The only opinion allowed is his!

Fox and stupid are a greater danger to our safety than any threat from "terrorist" groups. Despite the warnings from Gen. Colin Powell, then Secretary of State, Shrubnut went ahead and broke Iraq.

Take it back to Reagan destabilizing Central America and all the failed foreign policy, "if only" we could have the money back to send relief aid rather than weapons.

President Obama is carving a very narrow line to safely send humanitarian aid, protect our people on the ground in Iraq and possibly contain the current ISIL that is a direct result of the Bush Doctrine.

While I do have some disagreement with the Obama Administration, this latest dilemma was not his doing, but he seems intent on a course to finesse our way out of the Bush blunders.

The neocons really frost my chops with their failed bombs away ideology. With the money they wasted destroying Iraq, we could have spent a fraction of that delivering humanitarian aid to every region in need, including our own country.

Sucks we have to now kill and waste money on military missions to safely deliver food and water. But, yes, we need to do this to establish a few friends in the region.

Why should America be involved at all? Let all the religions fight it out until the are ALL done and then we'll have peace. As long as one from each religion walks this earth we will have strife. Let's all sit back and have some popcorn and watch the show....

That's what I want to know. WHY? Holy crap, for the WASTE of money that was Iraq, we could have given free college educations to millions of HS graduates for the betterment of our country down the road. I'm sick and tired of this shit and DAMN tired of any mention of Palin's take on it. She is an IDIOT.

In general I agree with you. The US should not continue to act as the world's police officer. However, in this case there is a group of innocent people that ISIS is trying to completely exterminate because of their faith.

Fighting among soldiers from the various Muslim factions should be left to sort itself out, although they've been at it for hundreds of years and there's no reason to think they'll figure it out this time. Genocide, on the other hand, is something that the world cannot stand by and allow to happen.

An estimated 50,000 Yazidis have fled to the mountains and about half of these are said to be children. They are running out of food and will starve unless they get help from the outside. Militants have slaughtered at least 500 Yazidi, including women and children, burying many of them alive. Hundreds of young Yazidi women who have been captured by ISIS will be sold off into slavery or married to the militant soldiers, with the expectation that they will be tortured and raped.

These kinds of atrocities go far beyond traditional warfare between religious sects and, as human beings, we must do what we can to help prevent this community from being wiped out.

If Bolling and his fox friends want to start a holy war, they can do it on their own dime. And they can take all the RW militias along to do the fighting.

Everytime all this religious strife takes off around the world, including America, I think to myself, hey, perhaps these braindead religious adherents will finally get a clue and dispense with all this fairy tale belief system that ends up killing a bunch of them, but no, unfortunately it just keeps up. If it keeps up long enough then ALL the religious nut bags will kill each other and the world will finally be safe. One can hope, right?

Hey Bolling, you frat boy chicken-hawk wannabe warrior, I hope that you die in the most painful and forgettable fashion imaginable. Truly, I do.

Poor Eric is itching for a holy war, a crusade just to be different from the rest of Fox, which is outraged! How DARE POTUS and the First Family go to Martha's Vineyard for Vacation. Go back to the White House, we need our Black Muslim President where he belongs!

Why isn't Eric over there fighting? Because "The Five" would become "The Four" and it would confuse Fox Viewers, not that he's a coward or assclown.

  9. So if you're Christian, radical, extremist, and intolerant you get a pass as long as you're an American?
