Israeli foreign minister Avigdor Lieberman has said that Arab citizens who are not loyal to the state of Israel should have their heads “chopped off with an axe”
The minister, leader of the Yisrael Beiteinu party and an outspoken critic of Israel’s Arab population, made the controversial remarks on Sunday in a speech to an election rally held in the western Israeli city of Herzliya ahead of the March 17 vote.
"Those who are with us deserve everything, but those who are against us deserve to have their heads chopped off with an axe," the ultra-nationalist politician said.
But remember, according to the Republicans, the Israeli government is who we are supposed to look to for help in developing our policy decisions when it comes to dealing with Arab Muslims.
Because you know they are so rational and reasonable.
Well, since Utah wants to go back to firing squads to get rid of prisoners who may or may not be guilty (I thought their God said "do not judge" right along with "Thou shalt not kill" but I digress) I'm sure they appreciate a little gallows speak from a leader they respect. Maybe Obama should start threatening the traitors in the Senate with beheadings?
ReplyDeleteKarma will bite that son of a bitch in the ass.
ReplyDeleteIsraeli foreign minister suggests that all Arab-Israelis who are not loyal to the state should have "their heads chopped off with an axe."
ReplyDeleteAre you sure the person who said this wasn't Sarah "let Allah sort it out" Palin?
Friends in Jerusalem are aghast at the far-Right Irsaeli government. There's a left-wing in Israel, that fights for the rights of Arab-Israelis and Palestinians.
DeleteYou've got friends in Jerusalem, too?
DeleteWell, ain't YOU speshul!
Anon at 7:33 am. Not all Israelis support Netanyahu and his far right government. Let's hope that he is ousted in the coming election. My fear is that he will do all he can to scare people into voting for his party. This pronouncement from his foreign minister may be part of the plan - make the Arab citizens irate enough to react violently and then you get your shoe in election results. What the foreign minister said was outrageous, kind of like what the 27 GOP idiots did earlier this week.

It's one person!! Why do you make sweeping generalizations based on the comments of an extremist? That's a pretty interesting part of your personality. Not so liberal and open minded about some things. You don't see it's a country made up of people of all viewpoints, just like we are?
ReplyDeleteWhy is that Jesse?
Because it's the Israeli FOREIGN MINISTER who said these things. Presumably, he represents the Israeli government's viewpoints.
DeleteNot too great on comprehension, are you?
How I are your comments any different than blaming all Arabs for the beheadings by ISIS? Yet you would never dare do that would you? You are ignorantly assuming that every Israeli in the government or country is a hard liner. Imagine if all Americans were judged by Sarah Palin.
ReplyDeleteSometimes your anti-Israel comments are not nearly as PC as your comments about Islam or other issues.
To me, that's just as racist, but you defuse to see or admit it about yourself. And yes, racist, the Israelis are a Semitic race. Jews are part of a race. It's not just a religion.
Yet you think it's ok to make sweeping negative comments about all of them. Interesting.
Your reading comprehension is for shit.
DeleteI was clearly referring to the Israeli government that is currently in power.
If that changes then so might my opinion.
6:18 -- The confusion about anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism has been going on since the 19th century.
DeleteIt is perfectly proper to criticize the State of Israel -- in fact, before it was formed, many Jewish leaders were anti-Zionists. Some still are.
Anti-Semitism, about a race or a religion, is a completely different discussion. That's not at all what Gryphen has written.
Seeing how we Americans subsidize Israel's Universal health care wouldn't the chopped off head replacement surgery fall back on us ? : /

DeleteWhat part of "Israeli foreign minister" do you not understand.
Fucking moron troll.
I posted this last week and here it is again:
DeleteSharon proclaimed, "We, the Jewish people, control America, and the Americans know it."
Netanyahu said. "We are benefiting from one thing, and that is the attack on the twin towers and Pentagon."
June 8, 1967 the rogue state of Israel perpetrated an attack on the USS Liberty
US Aid to Israel costs about 275,000 jobs yearly due to sanctions and unfair trade balances with Israel's enemies, and something in excess of 20 billion per year goes to Israel. Often their loans are forgiven and there is much money that goes without being tracked to the Israeli's - DOD and other organizations in the US send money that is not easily traced.
Israel's health care system is provided as a fundamental right and entitlement and was ranked 4th in the world in terms of efficiency in 2013. That's US donations funding free health care for Israeli citizens - not for US citizens!

I do believe this gentleman seems to have a hard time understanding the concept of "loyal opposition". Or the two party system. Or even the word tolerance.
ReplyDeleteBut then again, the blacks in this country were beaten and hanged for far less than disagreeing.
Words simply escape me.

$12 billion dollars a year combined from Britain and the US goes to support these murderous buffoons. Time to stop the Israeli Welfare System. How about we just let this country live WITHOUT our hard earned tax dollars supporting them?
ReplyDeleteDoesn't "Avigdor" sound like the name of the villain in a sci-fi movie or computer game?
