Think Progress gets their hands on a copy of anti-Hillary book. Essentially finds that not only is there no "smoking gun" but the book is shooting blanks.

So I mentioned yesterday there is this new book coming out May 5th, that has given the Right Wing media a semi in anticipation.

Apparently the good folks over at Think Progress managed to get their hands on an  advanced copy and it is safe to say that they are less than impressed:

Schweizer makes clear that he does not intend to present a smoking gun, despite the media speculation. The book relies heavily on timing, stitching together the dates of donations to the Clinton Foundation and Bill Clinton’s speaking fees with actions by the State Department.

Schweizer explains he cannot prove the allegations, leaving that up to investigative journalists and possibly law enforcement. “Short of someone involved coming forward to give sworn testimony, we don’t know what might or might not have been said in private conversations, the exact nature of the transition, or why people in power make the decision they do,” he writes. Later, he concludes, “We cannot ultimately know what goes on in their minds and ultimately provide the links between the money they took and the benefits that subsequently accrued to themselves, their friends, and their associates.”

Schweizer makes all kinds of allegations with very little to back them up, and seems to be hoping that the media will do his work for him and chase each one of them down.

However Think Progress also points out that one of his allegations has ALREADY been proved false:

Schweizer also fingers Bill Clinton’s speaking fees, a favorite target in conservative circles, as a potential avenue to influence Hillary. He links the timing of the State Department’s generally positive report on the Keystone XL Pipeline with a slew of Clinton speeches paid for by TD Bank, a major shareholder in the project. As proof of how crucial Clinton’s support for the pipeline was to the bank, Schweizer quotes a press release that claimed TD Bank would “begin selling its $1.6 billion worth of shares in the massive but potentially still-born Keystone XL crude pipeline project” after Clinton left office. The press release was quickly revealed to be fake in 2013. Yet Schweizer, apparently unaware of the hoax, remarks, “Too bad for TD Bank. But the Clintons got paid regardless.

That one's just well known bullshit and yet Schwiezer, did not even bother to Google it to find that out.

Ultimately this will all be, to borrow from Shakespeare, "A tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing."

However the Clintons being the Clintons they are not about to stand by idly and wait for the barrage of attacks from the conservative media.

So they issued a memo

“The book was backed by a Koch Brothers-linked organization and a billionaire family that is bankrolling Ted Cruz’s presidential campaign,” writes national press secretary Brian Fallon in the memo, which was forwarded to POLITICO by one of its recipients. In the three-page note Fallon also writes that Schweizer has coordinated with Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, another presidential candidate and frequent Clinton critic.

“It is sad, but not surprising, that [the Clintons’] philanthropic work has become the subject of false, right-wing attacks,” Fallon writes in the note, which carries the subject line, “What We Already Know About ‘Clinton Cash’: Book and Author Attacking Hillary Clinton Widely Discredited.”

“These types of books are standard fare in political campaigns now, and this one is clearly part of a coordinated Republican strategy. But this is not the first work of partisan-fueled fiction about Hillary Clinton’s record, and we know it will not be the last,” he adds.

And remember folks it is only April of 2015. We still have a year and a half of this garbage still before us.

    Fuckers!

Love the Clintons! They respond immediately and knock the Republicans to the floor every time. They have done this well throughout the years and will continue doing so throughout this campaign.

I can hardly wait to mark my ballot for Hillary Clinton! The Republicans have no one of her stature to put up against her. They are going to lose big time and they know it!

In a letter, former Sec. Clinton’s attorney David Kendall took all the air out the Republican hopes to drag the Benghazi Committee into the 2016 election, and destroyed their latest conspiracy before it got going.

Watch for kochsuckers infiltrating your town!

Secret Koch memo outlines plans for 2016

Documents detail plans to beef up the network’s state-of-the-art data system and pay hundreds of staff embedded in local communities across the country.

The Koch brothers’ political machine is expanding into new states and recruiting new donors as it seeks to shape the Republican Party — and its presidential field — headed into 2016, according to interviews with multiple sources, as well as confidential donor briefing documents obtained by POLITICO.

If ONLY the Koch brothers had a candidate who is credible. They do not. Some are close to being imprisoned (Christie, Perry and Walker) People in Wi are REALLY sick of Walker's tactics. Roll all their candidates together, and they are still not equal to either our President or Hillary in intelligence, experience and CLASS. Jeb is losing weight I find that amusing. He would be smarter to spend time LEARNING about so many subjects he knows little about. Compared to Dubya, he IS the "smart one" from a very shallow gene pool.

3:23 PM Votes count - not the Koch brothers and their money. Democrats, Independents and Non Partisan will be getting the vote out against them and will win AGAIN! It's already been done and they were broadsided - will occur AGAIN!

We can hardly wait to mark our ballots for Hillary Clinton and anyone but a Republican in our states and local communities.

Unfortunately, the $$$$ can get the voting machines "fixed". They use tactics such as having voting places closed in strong Democratic areas. Rove was POSITIVE that worked the last time, he was made a fool of on national TV. I have no doubt, they will try harder this time. Maybe horse faced Carly Fiorina will step up next, and save them?

I am so looking forward to watching the Koch Machine grind their teeth over wasting all those millions of dollars in 2016. They just keep throwing good money after bad trying to damage the Clinton campaign.

For a million dollars I'd write that book, too. Even for those Koch bastards.Hillary doesn't even appear interested in whatever crap he wrote. She's walked through their stupid Right-wing fires before.

    Hillary for President!

Hillary Clinton Obliterates The Latest Republican Benghazi Stunt With A Single Letter

In a letter, former Sec. Clinton’s attorney David Kendall took all the air out the Republican hopes to drag the Benghazi Committee into the 2016 election, and destroyed their latest conspiracy before it got going.

Kendall wrote to Benghazi Select Committee Chairman Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-OK) that Clinton wants to testify before the committee without delay:

...Earlier in the day, Speaker of the House John Boehner claimed that the Benghazi investigation was going to stretch into 2016 because Hillary Clinton and President Obama are refusing to turn over “the facts.”

The truth is that House Republicans are trying to delay Clinton’s testimony in order to use it as an issue during the 2016 presidential election.

Benghazi House Committee Should Not Politicize Its Report by Waiting Until 2016

According to Fox News host Sean Hannity, there will be a substantial story about the Clinton Foundation coming as early as tomorrow.

Conservative author Peter Schweizer‘s new book, Clinton Cash: The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich, has become a national media story after outlets like The New York Times, the Washington Post, and Fox News have secured access to its research. The thrust of the book is an investigation of donations made to the Clinton Foundation by foreign entities.

It’s unclear whether the big story Hannity teases is from the Schweizer book or emerged in its wake, but in the audio, first flagged by conservative blog The Right Pundit (which characterized the tease as a “bombshell”), the radio host said:

'I have sources, and I am telling you that maybe even as early as tomorrow there is going to be a huge, massive blow-up for the Clintons. You might hear this figure: 100 million dollars. And you might hear a country that is named Iran. That’s all i’m going to say now.'

Oh, Hillary is so scared! They buddy Ronnie holds the record for Iran and cash and guns, as well as Fox darling Ollie North, so I doubt anything Hannity and Sweitzer lie about will be worse than arms for hostages, and playing games with Iran to make Jimmy Carter, the only true Christian President we have ever had, look bad. The GOP is full of criminals and liars whose only goal in life to is make money, and make the Democratic Party lose. There wasn't Google back then, so Reagan got away with being a crook, but we are far smarter now, and Fox is not as wonderful as they tell themselves. Bring it on, Fox.
I think Hillary, like Obama, is playing chess, while the right is looking for their marbles.

I had the honor of touring the Clinton Foundation. They could have bought a piece of property anywhere, but Bill CHOSE one of the poorer sections of Harlem, and it's absolutely wonderful what's happened around that place, A park was renovated, playgrounds build (with the help of Bette Midler and others) and small businesses have popped up everywhere.
The building itself was renovated, but not over the top. What blew me away was the philanthropic partnerships he's made around the world.
Now that his wife is running, anything and everything is "fair game". They're richer than most, but they've bent over backward to help lift people out of poverty. Of course it's a Koch hit job before an election. This is just the opening salvo, it's gonna get ugly.

      "it's gonna get ugly."

Yes, it is, but just what you said, Anita. The Clinton Foundation, Jimmy Carter's "Habitat For Humanity," and now barackobamafoundation.org and he is still President.

What have Republican presidents done after leaving office? Build a shrine to themselves they call a "library" and charge you to enter.

Someone who was a paid buddy of a dolt like Sarah Palin isn't going to faze Hillary Clinton for a minute. Hanutty can blather all he likes, none of those Foxidiots ever produce the goods because there aren't any.

Doesn't matter, Schweizer picked more than a million Kochbucks for his attempt at smearing Hillary, so maybe he can donate some of his dark money to SarahPAC....

Why don't the Kochs give Sarah K$1m to write a smear book? She can talk shit better than any of those other teabaggers. Yes, I know she can't write but Piper can probably do that. So far the Kochs are only giving Sarah chickenfeed to attack Hillary.

Sarah, you tell them you want the big Kochbucks. How's the non-wedding coming along?

The really sad aspect to all this, is that no one will bother to read that stupid book. Would YOU?

So, all that will come out of it, is people like Hannity and the other jackoffs at Fox, lying as usual, and TELLING the dummies who believe their twattle, what the book says.

They've already got their dittoheads commenting on Facebook, that Hillary Clinton has murdered several people (including her longtime friend Chris Stevens, in Libya) and pissed on crucifixes, and uses pieces of the American flag as toilet paper.

Would something in an unread book alter the feelings of such people? NO.

  14. It's pretty obvious what the Republicans are doing.

Let's not forget yet another Benghazi investigation and the report will be delayed until a few months before the 2016 election. Even Greta Van Susternan is outraged and wrote a piece on Huffington Post.
